VISION STATEMENT OF THE VIRGINIA BEACH HAWKS GIRLS FASTPITCH SOFTBALL ORGANIZATION

It is the vision of the Virginia Beach Hawks to develop a highly competitive fastpitch softball organization that provides its players with a strong and positive learning environment, which enables them to prosper and flourish in their sport.  To fulfill our vision, the organization must be well managed, financially strong, goal oriented, highly regarded, and most of all supported by its dedicated members.

Goals:

  +    Identify and locate property to create a year-round practice facility-training center.  The training center will have current equipment for training (i.e. pitching machines, pitching and batting tunnels, batting tees, weights and other items to promote agility).  All teams and players will utilize this facility for purposes related to softball training.

+                Identify and locate property to advocate the building of multiple ball fields for the use during seasonal play and off season training as the weather permits

+                Promote loyalty to the organization by creating a scholarship program to the girls who will attend college after being part of the program.

+                Create a lasting softball legacy to the girls who play and to be available to their daughters in the future who might become players.

+                Become an organization known for the development of players that understand the sport and understand the personal commitment that it takes to become successful.
