Summary
Sonija Kwok(Jik Lei/Weaving Girl)is a fairy in the heavens and is responsible for weaving the colorful clouds.Its Wong Mo leung leung's(kinda like queen of the heavens)birthday one day and Sonija wants to weave something for her.But,she cant find the right colors in heaven and decides to venture into the mortal world to find the right colors.Fate has it that she meets Deric Wan (ou long/cowherder)Deric falls in love with her at first sight.Later,Sonija goes back to heaven to celebrate Wong mo leung leung's birthday.But,soon she realizes she dropped her weaving comb in the mortal world.So with the help of her best friend Leila Tong(magpie)the come down to the mortal world to retrieve her comb. But then she realizes she caused Deric and his older brother to lose a lot of money because she took the colors from the wheat fields...so she decides to make it up to him.So soon...they both fall deeply in love. Wong mo Leung leung finds out about this and forbids Sonija and Deric to be together because he is a mortal. Sonija starts begging and getting mad so soon Wong mo leung leung makes a deal with sonija.Sonija can stay in the mortal world until the seven star link shows up in the sky. But,when sonija is down there she must prove to Wong mo leung leung that they are truely in love and would die to be with each other.Sonija thinks it will be easy and accepts...
Sadly,Wong mo leung leung has already taken the memory of sonija away from deric so Deric doesnt remember Sonija now. So,Sonija hasta work even harder to make Deric fall in love with her,eventhough it is hard Sonija goes on because she is truly in love with Deric. So obstacle after obstacle she tries to pursue Deric. Along the way her good friends the magpie, and the earth god couple help her.
Now Leila and Stephen(Bai gon)is another story.Stephen is the money god and is responsible for passing out money to mortals.Everyone sees him as a mean,tattle and annoying person.However it is because the seven tailed fox stole his heart so now he is heartless.Leila is enemies with him at first, but soon she realizes that he means good but it is only because he is heartless that causes him to act this way.Later,she goes to find the seven tailed fox to make her return his heart. The seven tailed fox gives him the heart of a wolf instead. Once stephen gets the heart he is full of joy because his long forgotten real human emotions are returned.Then Leila and Stephen fall in love with each other.But,because Stephen's heart is of a wolf he starts thinking of bad things: he wants to be the god of the whole world,he falls in love with sonija,and he becomes enemie's with Deric.Leila sees that he is becoming evil but because she is so deeply in love with him she is determined to get back his real seven skilled heart...
In the meantime,Sonija proves to wong mo leung leung that she and Deric are truly in love too late. But,Sonija rather sacrfice her position as a fairy than be away from Deric.So she becomes a mortal instead.
So will Leila and Stephen still be together? What about Sonija and Deric? Watch and see...
My Opinion
Actresses: I really hoped to see more improvement from Sonija...but i was pretty disappointed.She may of improved a LIL but nothing significant.I was actually more impressed about Leila. I think she was a better actress than Sonija...
Couples:I liked Deric and Sonija ,they seemed to have chemistry but probably cuz they real couple in real life lol.Stephen and Leila were pretty refreshing!
Miscast:i dont really think SOnija should of been Jik Lei...not really suited.I don't know maybe seeing her as evil was so much better it kinda shocked me that shez nice now lol. I realy liked the other actors though, very good cast overall only w/ a lil mistake..haha sory sonija fans out there! But, maybe sonija is just more convincing as an evil person haha.
Story:Ive always thought that Ou wong jik lei was such a great love story and always anticipated to know even the lil details. Lol sadly TVB changed the plot and even teh ending which makes this love story so memorable! But owell the story was prety good overall. It was funny, sad, and everythin you would want from a love story made by TVB lol haha.
Draggy Parts?NO matter how good a series is there will always be some draggy parts. SO yes there is some for TLOL. I think towards the end...
