This page is for those who doesn't know much or any Japanese. I, being an asian, don't know much either. I'm hoping that those who do know some or is fluent at it, to email me at koulight@hotmail.com and give me a list of japanese words and meanings. It would be most greatful if the pronounciation was added too, so we know how to say it. If you find any mistakes on the list, please email me and I will change it as soon as I can. Thank you.

Before we begin, I would like to clarify some inportant points. The letter "a" sounds like the letter "a" in the words "ta da", or (laughing) "haha". The letter "e" sounds like the "e" in this word: "net", "fetch", "let", etc. The letter "i" sounds like the letter "e", the word "be", "chief", The letter "o" sounds like the "o" in the words "orchestra", "orca", "original". The letter "u" sounds like the combination of two "o"'s "ue" or "ou" like in the word "you", and "true" (Later on, when I get a scanner, I'll scan the whole list of japanese symbols with their sounds in and put it on this page. I'll tell you guys when it's up on the Updates page.)

Click on the play button below to hear how to say the letters in japanese.

a, i, u, e, o                                ka, ki, ku, ke, ko                        ra, ri, ru, re, ro

There are also different ways of saying the same thing only in different tones. Such as adding "ne" after a word would make it sound more girl-like. More information on this will be coming soon.

Now that that's taken care of, shall we begin?
