The Yorkville "transparent black" light bulb as it says on the box, is not a blacklight bulb at all. The glass is actually more of a charcoal color, and you can easily see through the glass. I got this for real cheap at a light bulb supply store and it was the last one they had...and this is an interesting lamp to me...definitely a bulb just for fun or something.
