This is the Westinghouse Mazda 150 watt 120 volt lamp, circa 1920s. It employs the "Mazda C" technology; the "C" terms means the lamp is gas filled, versus "B" for vaccuum lamps. This lamp was manfactured at a time not long after the lighting industry dropped old tipped light bulbs in favor of lamps evacuated from the bottom stem well, a practice that continues to this day. Also employed is the early PS-25 envelope, whic is shaped like the PS-30 and larger lamps. Most PS-25 lamps, even those made in the 1920s on, have a shape much more like the regular A shape.
