Manfacturer: Westinghouse Lamp Company
The Westinghouse Metallized Lamp shown here was Westinghouse's answer to the General Electric Metallized (GEM) Lamp, is that it contains improvements to the carbon filaments to improve lamp efficency. Thus these lamps were more efficent than the conventional carbon lamps, and were popular until the cage filament Mazda lamp which was introduced in 1907 but took on starting in the early 1910s. The lamp shown here is NOS with its orginial sleeve and of course still lights...note the pristine brass base...not even polished!
