"Series Burning" Dark Red Tipped Light Bulb

The vintage lamp shown here is a dark red colored glass light bulb, with a label that says "Series Burning". I believe these were used on 500 volt series circuits, such as railroad lights, things like that. Manfacturer is unknown but I believe it may have been made by Westinghouse due to traits of this bulb that most likely match Westinghouse's and not those by GE and all the other small manfacturers. As you can see, the lamp still works and the glass is unusually dark, almost black at a glance, but is obiviously red when looked through a light or when turned on.
