The Yorkville Glimmer Lite is a definite oddball. It is basically a neon glow lamp with a plastic "flame" and a plastic outer bulb jacket. The neon lamp is somewhere inside the plastic "flame" and produces a warm orange flickering light similar to flame flicker lamps when lit. According to the box, it only consumes 0.3 watts and is rated to last 5000 hours. Made in Japan by someone for Yorkville sometime during the 1980s.
