You may be wondering why I chose to post a store private label version of the light bulb. I am actually not too interested in most store private label light bulb brands, but this one is an exception. These bring back childhood memories of mine. I recall that Kmart's old line of light bulbs came in both soft white and inside frosted. Unlike today's generic "American Fare" light bulbs that Kmart now carries, these old Kmart ones were quality ones and rated to last 2000 hours, and had Kmart etches. These old bulbs were made by Westinghouse for them. The box does not even have an UPC code on it, just a price tag thats all! The box (note the old fashioned aqua blue and red colors, very 1970s) orginally held 4 bulbs, there are still 3 orginial unused bulbs inside.
Here's the etch with the old Kmart logo that was used during the 1960s-1980s.
