Manfacturer: Columbia
The neat vintage light bulb shown here is the Columbia externally frosted light bulb. Frosted bulbs were uncommon back in the old days, and when they could be found, they were expensive, and could only be frosted on the outside. The techinque for inside frosted light bulbs would not come to the surface until around 1925 or so. As you can see, the bulb here still lights to this day, and is still clear inside with little or no darkening.
Lamp lit at reduced brightness.
