The picture above is the somewhat scarce Abco carbon filament lamp in the standard household A-19 shape. According to the box, it was made in Japan by Kyokko Electric Company, Ltd however there are theories that it may have possibly been made by someone else in Japan and sold by Kyokko due to some of the design charactistics that do not match the few known Japanese lamps that were made by Kyokko and marked as such, and very little is known about Kyokko and other small Japanese lamp manfacturers. But still, this is a high quality lamp with excellent glasswork and perfectly shaped 2-looped filaments. This lamp is rated at 50 watts and 120 volts, and the only markings on the lamp is "120VJAPAN" embedded on the upper rim of the brass base.
