Manfacturer: Philips Lighting Company
This Philips 200 watt clear PS-30 is unusual because it only operates on 32 volts, note the filament is only between 1-2 inches long. I believe these lamps were commonly used in gyms as emergency back-up lights. When the power goes out and the gym's main lights go out, these 32 volt lamps can be lit up by back up batteries or generators. Although there is probably much less demand for these lamps today, Philips still manfactures these lamps today, and this lamp was made in June 2000.
This etch intrigues me, because this is supposed to be a speciality lamp, and many speciality lamps are often marked according to the application they were designed for, but on this one the only difference from 120V lamps is the 32V marking.
