Christian Workers is a benevolent organization whose focus is on living its' Christian faith via fellowship with one another; and by serving others who are in need. Our chapter is very active. We have made numerous contributions to assist the needy in our communities. Organizations that we have assisted include but are not limited to Florence Crittenton Services ( residential maternity and foster care program), The Shelter for Battered Women, local day care centers, and Operation Christmas Shoe Box. We have also provided financial assistance to college students (including students whose parents were among the firefighters killed on September 11th), and we assisted the flood victims of North Carolina. We also assist those in our own chapter who are in need.
