Past Band Info
Sleepy Hollow
Sleepy Hollow was formed in August 1989 by
drummer- Tommy W., vocalist- Bob M. & bassist- Steve B.
Steve & Bob were working on a project together when Tommy contacted them about what was to become
SLEEPY HOLLOW
November 3rd 1989 the band performed their first show and surpirised everyone-
December of 1989 also saw the release of their four song demo,
the demo was given away to fans at the performances and through the mail.
( IT WAS ESTIMATED THAT 5000 OF THEM HAD BEEN DISTRIBUTED WORLDWIDE )
Sleepy Hollow began receiving recognition thru radio airplay from stations across the east coast and abroad,
fanzines & magazines had given them more favourable reviews.
Some of the many bands which have shared the same night's stages as Sleepy Hollow include:
EZO, PANTERA, WRATHCHILD AMERICA & MANOWAR
In 1991 the band saw its most rewarding year-
The band became #1 in 5 countries over seas, while maintaining top-ten status in other countries as well as America.
In the fall of 1991, Sleepy Hollow signed with AZARA / IRONWORKS Records & secured an exclusive management deal.
