Start off with a blank image. Then press the "A" button. Click any where on your blank image.
Now this box should pop up. Type in your text. Make sure the circle by the word "Floating" is checked. Then press "OK".
Your text should look like this.
Click on "Effects" then "3D Effects" and then "Drop Shadow".
A box like this should pop up. Make the settings look exactly like the ones in the box below. You can experiment with different settings later.
Now your text should have a shodow, but still have the moving dotted lines around it.
Now click "Selections" and then "Select None".
Yay! Now your text should look similar to this one!
