Sith his hat set on in a rakish manner
And his scarf waving out like a royal banner,

With his coal black eyes and happy grin
He waves to all who pass near him.

In snowy weather he's very gay,
But he dislikes a sunny day.

Is this jolly fellow a very large elf
Who makes you smile in spite of yourself?

Or is it a product of imagination?
Or perhaps some mythical creation?

No, it's only a snowman with his jaunty air
Who stands erect and debonaire.

A snowman who appears so jolly and gay
And waves to the world on a Christmas Day!
