The top of the order has been getting it done for the Crusaders at the start of the second half, which the team needs to qualify for nationals in. The top five spots in the order have combined for a .456 average, 35 home runs, and has driven in over 100 runs. The surpirse of the group has been lead off hitter and newcomer, Ever Sanchez. Ever has driven the ball to all areas of the field, and has played stellar defensively. He has hit for a .521 average with 4 home runs and 21 RBI. The power of the team has been number four hitter Casey Singletownison. Singletownison leads the nation in the tripe crown stats batting .689 with 16 homers and already 56 RBI in only 24 games. The three hole hitter has been stellar as well. Randy Rocker has hit .450 for the team with 7 dingers and 32 RBI. Justin Anderson, the five hole hitter, and Alex Sanchez, the two hole hitter, have had things in hand as well putting up good numbers. These five players have helped the Crusaders to an awesome start of 22-2, with the only two losses coming to defending champions Long Beach, Califonia in the Lone Star State Tournamnet. They have had four impressive wins which have them in the top 15 in the nation now. A 22 run win over Memphis, a 16-8 bashing of San Diego, The Chandler Express could not match up losing by 29 against them, and a 1-0 shut out of undefeated Miami.
