~That Day~
Butterflies flutter in the pit of my stomach,
As images of you rapidly race through my mind.
The thought of the time we have and will spend together,
Leaves me glowing from the inside and out.
You make me smile even when you aren't around.
The little things you say and do make me feel even more special.
The feelings I have for you could never be fully expressed.
The way I truly feel wouldn't matter to you,
But because of the place you hold in my heart,
Never shall these feelings of mine fully part.
To escape with you to a far off land,
Is only a dream waiting in Heaven for me.
A dream I can't wait to live and to breathe.
I pray our friendship always remains.
I hope my feelings for you will someday fine their place,
And be instilled in your heart too.
