I was lucky enough to meet Charlie at my brother's graduation in the middle of June. He seemed like a guy with a great personality, and him and his girlfriend seemed so happy together!! I always heard about Charlie through Bryan. He always told me how close Charlie and Cheryl were, and what a great relationship they had, and when Bryan called me that Sunday night and told me that Charlie had passed away, I was stuck. I didn't know what to say to him, and didn't know what I would say to Cheryl the next time I saw her. Cheryl, that Monday Bryan was telling me what had happened, and he just burst in to tears. From what Bryan told me that one day, it seemed like you and Charlie had such a wonderful relationship and couldn't have been any closer and caring than the two of you already were! And he even told me that him and Stephanie had been together for quite some time, and that they too were so happy together. Charlie always made awesome signs for the two of you for each of your graduations, and I even got to see one he drew of a breakdancer for Bryan. I know that they say everything happens for a reason, and as hard as it is to accept, maybe it's true. It seems as though Charlie has touched many, many hearts in his short lifetime, and my condolences go to all that have lost a loved one. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family baby girl, and to all of Charlie's friends. Keep your head up, and know that Charlie watches down on each of you every night, and will be waiting for the day to reunite with each of you. May Charlie rest in peace, as he will never be forgotten!
