We’ve been friends for a full six years,
Despite the many fallen tears.
We’ve been through it all now,
Our friendship stronger, I don’t know how.
I’ve put you through hell,
How sorry I am, I never could tell.
You mean everything to me.
A sister you have come to be.
I cherish your friendship so very much.
You’ve always given that loving touch.
Together we have grown.
Changes truly shown.
By my side I hope you stay,
As we live our lives day by day.
A friend like you is hard to find.
You shed a light that could lead the blind.
You’re always there,
And show you care.
You’ve helped me through hard times,
And when wedding bells chime,
I know you’ll be there once again by my side,
Being best maid, of this bride.
A lifetime friendship is what we hold,
And never will we let it grow too old.
Make me a promise today,
Promise me you’ll never go away.
You’ve become part of my heart,
And I pray to God that we never part.
