Season 5

Episodes 1-4

EPISODE PICTURE DESCRIPTION OPINION RATING
Enemies Concluison to Exodus.

Stranded 125 years from home SG-1 must face Apophis and the Replicators in a fight for their lives. However, just when they could use a trusted friend, Teal'c betrays them.

Fantastic. New types of Replicators and those cool glasses that RDA wears. Add that to lots of shots from those P90s and the death of Snake ass, and its an incredible opener to season 5. *****

5/5!

Oustanding.

Threshold

Bra'tac helps SG-1 to try and restore Teal'c's mind. However, Bra'tac informs them that this procedure could result in Teal'c's death.

Excellent. Almost acts as a third part to the previous two episodes. We finally get to see Teal'c before his days as First Prime of Apophis.

Ascension An alien of the same race as Oma de Sala (see Maternal Instinct) follows Carter home and tries to begin a relationship with her. The alien presence does not seem to like anyone else however, and it leaves Carter's colleagues thinking she might be over doing it, and prompts an investigation by the Pentagon.  Not a bad episode. This is the first appearance by John De Lancie who plays Col. Simmons, a puppet of Kinsey. Contains a few comic moments including Teal'c in a cowboy out fit, a discussion about how many times Teal'c has seen 'Star Wars', and Orlan (the Alien) making a Stargate through things he bought off the Internet.

The Fifth Man

O'Neill risks his life on a planet crawling with Jaffa to try and rescue an injured Lt Tyler. However, as the rest of SG-1 discover, there is no Tyler on record ever at the SGC. This prompts yet another investigation by Simmons, and a confused SG-1 wondering exactly who Colonel O'Neill is trying to protect.

Good episode. Interesting storyline and another irritating encounter with Simmons. Some nice military action including Claymores,C4,greande launchers and plenty of P90s. And as you can see from the picture, (left) Teal'c gets a nice, big new toy to play with. (watch out for a certain chemical substance in this episode cropping up at a later date)
