Hello and welcome. My name is Aireon Silentwater. I am the founder of Shambala. It has always
been my goal to provide the Pagan / alt. spirituality community of Pittsburgh and the surrounding area
with support through classes, courses, and events ranging from charity work to educational and outreach programs.

I wanted to establish a teaching circle where members may come and advance through a degree system
that can support a variety of beliefs and paths. In so saying, I used my years of experience and knowledge,
and worked the structure of Shambala into its current form.
The group officially started the 2end of October, 2001. Since then, we have grown in size to form a
a small group of wonderfully diverse and supportive individuals who truly make this group what it is.
