Friends of Pete the Pup

Welcome, Friend! The Secret Order of the Winking Eye's Membership is now in session (wink). Your in good hands here... past members include Spanky and Alfalfa and Darla and Buckwheat. Your invited to join our anciunt klub if you follow the simple rule: "Be Kind to Animals". That along with a true love for the Our Gang/ Little Rascals comedy series. If you want to play along with us and join our clubhouse all you haveta do is put four fingers beneath your chin and say: "O'Tay!".

This website is dedicated to original 'Our Gang' member Jean Darling, a true friend of Pete, The-Dog-With-the-Ring-Around-His-Eye. While being in contact with her through numerous emails I learned much more then I could've imagined and feel I now to am a true 'Friend' of Pete the Pup.

I'd also like to thank 'Our Gang' member Shirley Jean 'Rickert' Measures who was always fun to be in touch with. She helped me understand that after the first Pete died the children weren't as close to Pete and it was more business like on the set. She was kind enough to link Pete's Place to her own website and for this I thank her. I read through her website that Shirley Jean passed away in her sleep on February 6th 2009. RIP

Special thanks goes out to my friend Laurel Torres who unknowingly gave me the idea of creating this tribute site and who was there putting up with my mad ramblings as I delved in deeper trying to put this doghouse together.

Last but not least thanks to the webmistress Erin, who went out of her way to create this websites designs and help make Pete's Place a success. I never did find out real name. THANKS!
