| Facts | Falun 2003-06-13 In the bar "Harrys", which belongs to the Grand Hotel in Falun country-fans and Rednex-fans where able to see a performance of a special kind. On stage: Annika Ljungberg, Göran Danielsson, Bosse Nilsson and Bredbandet. Göran is known for beeing the secret singer of Rednex and Bosse is the real Violin-Player from both Rednex-albums. Annika changed her country-outfit three times and did proof wrong that pregnant women can hardly move, Göran looked damn cool with his sun-glasses and Bosse Nilsson showed us that he does not only sound good on CD. We´ll make sure that more photos and stuff of this event will appear on this homepage soon... The big Highlight was a country Medley, with a great performance of Dolly Partons "Jolene" sung by Annika (country truely is her natural element) and a big Rednex-Medley as big final (including Cotton Eye Joe, Old Pop in an Oak, Shooter, Fat Sally Lee, Riding alone). Great job! She also sung the beautifull ballad "Wish you were here". Not only the singers were great, also the band "Bredbandet" did a great job and Bosse Nilsson on the Violin was just perfect! It rarely happens to hear a Rednex Song full live with a band, violin-player and original male singer and this was in my oppinion a first class performance. |
