Teresa and Deric are divorce because she got an abortion. Deric is a doctor and he still like his ex-wife a lot. Teresa used to be a music producer but she quitted her job and opens a Japanese restaurant with another person. Her partner is already married but he likes Teresa. But when he find out his wife left him after they got into an argument, he notices that how much he actually loves her so they got back together. Francis is Teresa抯 boyfriend but he already has a son. He does like Teresa but he has a lot of girlfriends though. Teresa has a bad childhood because she always blame herself for her brother抯 death and he hates his father who had left her and her mother when she was young. That is why when his father came back to Hong Kong, she treats him very cold. Maggie (Wah) is a greedy and mean woman. She was adopted but his father treats her very nice. She and Teresa are cousins and they live together. Maggie is not serious in love because she usually uses her boyfriends for money. However she did like Lam Lei but he is already married. He is from a very rich family. His father doesn抰 like his son抯 new relationship so he cancels all his bank accounts and credit cards. Teresa抯 father got into the hospital. Teresa is still very cold to him but when a third party help him write what his father wants to tell his daughter, she was very touch and forgave him. Maggie and Francis are in debts because their stocks drop a lot. Francis asks Lam Lei to pretend that he is kidnapped so his father will give money to them so they can pay off their debt. The story focuses more on Teresa. Maggie抯 role is very annoying in this series but her performance is very good. At least she can act those annoying characters. Francis plays a bigger part and I think his acting is even better than Deric in this series. The plot is not very interesting but good acting though. The series doesn抰 have a big cast but the artistes did a good job. * These are only based on my opinion, not on real rating for the series! The more stars mean the better. Five stars are the maximum!
