The Zoo Album: Where I Work

Lynx Kittens

This is a photograph of me and the male lynx kitten Atilla. They are adorable little Kittens, and we are fortunate to have 3. Kaya, the female, Asam, and Atilla, the two males.

Canadian Moose

This is a photo of our bull moose, Rutherford. He is the biggest suck i have ever met. He will follow you from across the pasture just to get hugs and kisses. He also love sparing through the bars.

Here is another of Rutherford.

This is Willow our eldest cow. She is not normaly an outgoing moose like Rutherford. She will come in for pets one day, and then the next you have to watch out or you might get hooved.

Willow again.

This is Murray, our newist cow. She is a young one, and also loves hugs. But she is a whiner, and she loves carrots.

Murray again.

Woodland Bison

This is Sage, a cow woodland bison. She is the shyest of the three. And she tends to keep to herself.

Sitsi, another cow of our three wooldanders. She is my favorite of the bison. I have been training with her for about two months now to see if i can pet her on the nose. So far i have had over 4 pets! :)

This is Dene the Bull (facing the camera) and Sitsi (facing away)sun bathing in thier pasture. They have been keeping quite close to each other ever since they got to the zoo. Whenever i try to make contact with Sitsi, Dene is right in there hearding her away. He is quite a protective animal. He is not full grown yet, he should het twuice that size.

Rocky Mountain Goat

This is Cliff. He is a very sweet animal, but i would not suggest trying to pet him. He keeps quiet mostly. A beautifula animal.

Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep

This is Cornus. He is a very territorial animal. When we go into feed him he tends to challenge us. When we have the other Ram in with him he settles down though.

Cougars

This is one of the Kananaskis Cougar kittens.

Here are both of the Kananaskis Cougar kittens. Both are females.

Grizzly Bear

This is my mother feeding Skoki, the male Grizzly bear honey. He is a very sweet animal also. But very dangerous. The claws (if you can see them they are black and are sticking out of the mesh) are longer than my fingers!

Grey Wolf

This is the male of our pack. We have one male and the other three are females.

Whooping Crane

I could never forget this gutsy bird. She is called Eha (think of yehaw) She will chalenge anyone who goes into her pen with a lowered head which she will hold at a 40 degree angle, and then she will proceed to strut around. She has challenged me a few times, until i got the broom. She wasen't turning on me then.

Famly and I with Riticulated Giraffes

This is my little Sister feeding the cow Giraffe.

This is my mom feeding the same Giraffe.

My sister and i with the other Cow Giraffe.

Red Pandas

We have two Red Pandas at the zoo. They are not really bears, they are actually realted more to cats and raccoons than bears. Same with Giant Pandas.

Snow Leopard

This is one of our (i belive) two Snow Leopards.

Siberian Tiger

One of the male Tigers. Five of the females were locked out in the front yard, while the three males where in the back.

Thanks for taking the time to look through my miny album. It is not very large, but if you were ever wondering about the animals i care for, here they are! :)
