Sven calls
four - still no place for Lee
England coach Sven
Goran Eriksson has called four Leeds players into
his England training exercise next week, but has again ignored the
claims of Lee Bowyer.
Paul Robinson, Danny Mills, Jonathan Woodgate and Alan Smith are the
lucky four who will report for training at Bisham Abbey, although
Woodgate is still struggling with injury and could miss the get-
together.
Eriksson, who gave Bowyer his England debut against Portugal in
September, also left the United midfielder out of the Euro 2004
qualifiers with Slovakia and Macedonia last month.
The 26-man squad for the England get-together on November 18-20:
Seaman (Arsenal), James (West Ham), Robinson (Leeds), G Neville (Man
Utd), Mills (Leeds), Ferdinand (Man Utd), Campbell (Arsenal),
Southgate (Middlesbrough), Woodgate (Leeds), Cole (Arsenal), Bridge
(Southampton), Beckham (Man Utd), Butt (Man Utd), Gerrard
(Liverpool), Scholes (Man Utd), Hargreaves (Bayern Munich), Dyer
(Newcastle), Thompson (Blackburn), Murphy (Liverpool), Sinclair (West
Ham), Lampard (Chelsea), Greening (Middlesbrough), Heskey
(Liverpool), Owen (Liverpool), Smith (Leeds), Vassell (Aston Villa).
