Woodgate injury boost

Centre-half Jonathan Woodgate has shaken off a knee injury and will
be fit for Leeds United's daunting trip to Newcastle on Wednesday
night.
The defender picked up the knock soon after coming off the bench
during England's 1-1 draw with Portugal at Villa Park on Saturday.
Leeds boss Terry Venables was keen to have Woodgate available due to
concerns over the fitness of both Lucas Radebe and Dominic Matteo,
who both missed international games through injury last weekend.
Radebe has also pronounced himself fit while Matteo is expected to
play despite still being troubled by his knee.
Leeds will also have new signing Teddy Lucic available after the
Swede came through his first training session with United yesterday.
Eirik Bakke also picked up an ankle injury while away with Norway on
international duty but is expected to recover in time for the trip to
St James' Park.
