Please, don't be afraid to read this information, cry a little, then get mad and help us put a stop to both the deceptive methods currently used to obtain slaughter stock and the inhumane slaughter methods currently employed by these unregulated slaughter-houses!!

* For 9 years I was a butcher, employed by a company that slaughtered and proccessed both beef and hogs. I very reluctantly understand that there IS a place for the HUMANE, LIMITED slaughter of horses for meat, but the manor in which they are slaughter should be regulated just as strictly as it is for other animals. There is NO PLACE in a civilized society for the INHUMANE slaughter methods described in the links below.*
