Shweta was born to Divya & Raj on 20th of February 2000 at Pantai Specialist Medical Centre, Klang. In two words, she's naughty and adorable. Although she has many toys, she has a strong fascination for the TV remote control! Her favourite 'drink' is water, and finds paper and plastic rather tasty...doesn't mind having them raw! She loves to sing Baa baa black sheep (with some modification to the lyrics, of course!), and she responds to Twinkle, twinkle little star by opening and closing her hands!
Divya is an Audit Supervisor with M.Guna & Co., an audit firm in Klang. She joined them in 1993 after completing her studies at Avinashilingam University in Coimbatore (India). She has also completed a certificate course in Bharata Natyam at the Kalakshetra College of Fine Arts in Chennai. Although Divya has always enjoyed her work, there was a slight shift in her daily routine after Shweta's arrival. Divya realised that she required more time for herself in order to look in to Shweta's needs. She now operates from home and works for the same firm on a part-time basis. Besides number crunching and getting the accounts to balance, she loves to watch a good Indian classical dance or music recital.
Raj, on the other hand, does not fancy dealing with figures. A graduate from the Australian National University and the University of Canberra (Australia), he currently works for the premiere satellite TV station in Malaysia - ASTRO. He's been with the company since its inception in 1996 and is one of the Supervising Editors with the Quality Assurance Department. As he works on shift, he looks forward to his off days to baby sit Shweta. He's been doing pretty well bathing and dressing her. When he feels "adventurous", he draws her eyes too...and that's no easy task! And lastly, he definitely does not turn on the TV during his free time!
