I remember my parents didn't like for me to watch the show. Something about them living together and not married maybe.

I knew that I had to do an impersonation of Cher, and I had planned on using their famous song. The video came to life in 2002.

Nope, I didn't do "If I Could Turn Back Time".

The only problem was, who would be Cher's partner? Originally, I thought about having Baba sing Sonny's part. Then I met Chris Trafelet while living in Pikeville, Ky.

Chris was perfect for the part of Sonny. Everybody was always saying how much he looked and sounded like Sonny Bono.

Chris had helped me in several other films, so I didn't have any problems drafting him for the Sonny and Cher video.

I found a funky silk outfit in my mom's closet for Cher, and a polka dot polyester shirt for Sonny.

I wanted to film the video outside, but there were some thunderstorms that day. We had to film indoors.

Cher was extremely homely. I used a straight black wig to make it look more like Cher did back in the 70s.

Sonny plays the guitar in the video and Cher is constantly flipping her hair away from her face.

Cher tugs on Sonny's hair and says she doesn't care if people say his hair's too long.

Sonny takes Cher by the hand and they come skipping into the living room.
