Notes
Gassman, one of Italy's most famous actors, originally represented Italy in basketball in 1939.
Briefly married to American actress Shelley Winters, Gassman nearly was offered the role of Giorgio Bianchi in Three Coins In The Fountain, and it was only through the intervention of director Jean Negulesco that Rossano was ultimately given the role. Gassman later starred with Rossano in Sette volta donna.
Luis Saslavsky was an Argentinian director who worked in Italy.
