Lesson Five

Now, we went through some of the tools of what you need. It is time to go into more depth about a couple of them...Gemstones, Candles and Herbs. These are some of the most used/disposable tools we use. This lesson is to get yourself familier with what is available.

Exercise One.
Find a list of gemstones. Look at the variety, color, and preciousness. Start your own list

Find a list of candle colors. Look at the differnces in colors. Start your own list

Find a list of herbs. Look at the variey available. Start your own list.

Exercise Four.
Now. Using books, the web and my pages, look for gemstone, candle color and herb usages. Include in your list...color correspondances, substatutions, similarities and differences, can you mix or match, or if they are similer, can you choose one over the other. This information should go into your BOS, and should take you some time to do.

Exercise Five.
There are many sites with conflicting information. Does this mean they are wrong? What could you do to decide what is right for you? Are you willing to experiment (and document) to see what is right for your use?
