TRADITIONAL JAVANESE WEDDING IN SURINAME

The Javanese traditional wedding in Suriname consists of a number activities anfd ceremonies, namely the composion of the Kembar Mayang, the slametan for the Kembar Mayang, the Midodareni and the Nemohke

The composion of the Kembar Mayang (wedding flowers and symbol of the tree of life), the slametan for the Kembar Mayang as well as the Midodareni take in the nigth prior the weddingday place
