Chapter 1

Ruby was first one got disturbed from her sleep as she reached her hand other the walking land to lay on Vicki.

-Vick…please turned off your alarmed…

Vicki had no responded, but instead Jolin who sleeping beside Vicki next to the window, had to sit up, as she ducked her hand around to find the ringing alarmed. The soon the found the stupid thing, she smashed down for it to stop, and drop back in her chair, to continued on her sleep. And yet Vicki who had the alarm on, still fast as sleep.

Maggie, began to stirred, as she whispered to Ada, who was lying between her and Ruby.

-What is it?

-Oh! Vicki alarmed went off! Ada replied while drifting back to her sleep.
And yet Vicki who had the alarm on, still fast as sleep without any disruption.

(Hi all, It’s Tanya again let me introduce to you a new set of story. We will be following life of not one, or two, but five young women, who just graduated from London Royal Police detective department. And now they on their way back to join in Hong Kong Police force. Each of them came from different places, and background.

Maggie Cheung, was a more matured, with her cool attitude, and usually set as the lead of the group.

Ada Choi, was just as similar with Maggie, except she had a bit of touch from formal elegant.

Third was Ruby Lin. Got the ideal trendy figure, but she loved her job at fighting justice and tried had to become to good cop.

Second last was Vicki. Tomboy, and yet very sleepy. But she is very into action, chasing and fighting.

And the youngest was Jolin Tsai. She kind of similar to Ruby, soft and sweet. But smart when it come to high-tech information research.

The five ladies had just been working together at the practice trial, during the passed five months. Some how they teamed up to be the best female group. Calling themselves “Xiao Hua Asian Squash” “Little flowers Asian Squad” But since they moved to work in Hong Kong, their title be change to “Little flowers Squad Group”.

All of them had never been back in Hong Kong, for the shortest was five years. So now on there returned back?

How will they be adapting to the new working environment.
Watch if their friendship grown closer.
To their doubt, each of them will find a prefect partner later..But how?

Chapter 2

Mr Cao: So you guys are “Xiao Hua Squad” (looking at the five, which were standing in front of him from the order Maggie, Ada, Ruby, Vicki and Jolin)

The five all nodded together in replied.

Mr Cao: I’m going to call out the role, when it comes to your name, present your age, and how long have you been graduated from the Academy. Let’s see Maggie Lueng.

Maggie: Sir! I’m 27, and graduated 2 years.

Mr Cao: Um!(nodded) Ada Choi.

Ada: Sir! I’m 26, graduated 1 years.

Mr Cao: Um!!.. Ruby Lin.

Ruby: Sir! I’m..25, graduated 6 months.

Mr Cao: Huh? 6 months??…Okay..Vicki Zhao

Vicki: Sir! I’m 25, graduated 3 months.

Mr Cao: What!!(shocked) 3 months…(frowned)…Jolin Tsai..

Jolin: Sir! I’m 25 and graduated…. same as Vicki…

Mr Cao: What are those people from over there thinking, sending me a whole bunch of babies. 3 months, 6 months after school, what experience would you have?

Jolin: Sir! That why we were sent over here to grant more experience.

Ruby: We were recognized as the best group among all in the trial practiced!!

Mr Cao: But this is real life not trial practice, UNDERSTAND!!

Vicki: YES SIR! We will tried our best…

Mr Cao reluctantly looked away to the knock at the door, and Madam Feng, Head of Detective quarter walked in.

Madam Feng: Morning SIR!

Mr Cao: Ms Feng, these are the Xiao Hua Squad, can you please take them to their room.

Madam Feng: Yes Sir!

Mr Cao: Ladies, you can dismiss now. Follow Madam Feng, she is the Head Detective. Today is Friday, I give you ladies this weekend to settle in. Present here at 7 sharp on Monday morning. CLEAR?

All five: YES SIR!

Mr Cao: Ah yes! And try to wear something that easy to move around *staring harshly at Ruby and Jolin, who dressed in short skirt.*

All five: YES SIR!

Then they took their leave to follow Madam Feng to their mini office.

While walking…

Madam Feng: So you ladies are the famous Little Flowers.

Vicki: Really? Are we that famous?

Madam Feng:..hum…you are??..

Maggie: Oh, Let me introduce us. I’m Maggie Lueng, she’s Ada Choi, That’s Ruby Lin, together with Jolin Tsai and
Vicki Zhao.

The other four: Morning Madam Feng.

Madam Feng: Morning ladies! Come this will be your office for now, next to you is the Little Puppy group, and on the other hand is the information room.

Just then a young man walked in from the information room to greet the new ladies.

Madam Feng: This is our info man, he’s Leo.
The five took turn to greet “morning”.

Leo: Hi Ladies! Called me Leo, if you need to track down anything or find out anything. I’m the man..

Jolin: Thanks Leo..

Vicki: You and Madam Feng are so nice. *Leo smiled sweetly at Vicki*

Ruby: Yeah, not like that big boss.

Madam Feng: *smiled* Mr Cao is not that bad he’s just like to be tough on the new comer.

Vicki: Isn’t that what called bully.

Ada: He’s our boss..

Maggie: we have to obey him..

Vicki, Ruby and Jolin all frowned.

Then another guys from the other room, just walked passed as Madam Feng waved out for him to come in.

Madam Feng: Joey, Let’s me introduced you the new group. “Xiao Hua Squad”. Maggie, Ada, Vicki, Jolin and Ruby, this is Joey Zhou, he’s the head of Little puppy group, I advised you guys to get together to help each other out later.

The five: Yes, Madam. Morning Mr Zhou.

Joey: Hi girls! Called me Joey. I heard you guys just came back from London. Watch out Hong Kong is much tougher than what you thought! *smiled cheekily*

By that Joey waved good-bye and left.

Ruby: *whispered to Jolin and Vicki* He’s doesn’t look happy.

Vicki: It’s more like he doesn’t like us.

Jolin: What a snob, acting tough.

Madam Feng: Come on, girls, you must be tired. Here are the keys to your car and the apartment. On the keys is the number plate, so you can all go down the car park and search for the car, it’s should be near the gate. Here is the address to your new house. You all be sharing on one apartment. All accommodation is paid for. This is the map to help you get around. Shall I leave you to your desire…See you all on Monday.

Vicki: Wait Madam Feng!

Madam Feng: Called me Ms Feng. *As she handed the keys and paper to Maggie*

Vicki: Ms Feng, you don’t expect us to be sharing one car do you…

Ms Feng: Yes! What do you think, it’s five of you…Perfectly fitted for one car!

Maggie: Oh! Nothing, we’ll be fine, thank you Ms Feng for all your help.

As Ms Feng left the room, Maggie turned over and gathered the group.

Maggie: All right girls! Shall we go can find our home.

Jolin: Gosh one car, how can we move around.

Vicki: Exactly!

Ada: Hey you don’t expect them, to give us a car each do
you, The Government will claim bankrupt.

Ruby: Come on, I want to get home, wait. Who’s driving?

Maggie: Ada! As she threw to keys to Ada and walked out.

Ada: Ruby! You can…Ada threw the keys to Ruby. And left.

Ruby: Hey! Why me? Vick!..She threw the keys over to Vicki and followed the other two..

Vicki: Wait why me then..Jo…

Jolin: No, I got the Mel way I’ll looked for direction, thank you, you have the international license…*Jolin also walked out, leaving Vicki chasing behind.*

Vicki: This is not fair; I’m going to pay back.
(So the gang is now looking for their Apartment, guessed their neighbor will be??)

Chapter 3

Vicki: Guys, why don’t you go up there first, I’ll drive down a few blocks to find a parking lot..

Every body agreed, as they proceeded to the booth and took out their suitcases. But before the last person left, Vicki cried out.

Vicki: Wait! What number is our apartment?

Ruby: Level 5, Apartment 24.

And then the four slowly made their way to the elevator

At the elevator.

Maggie: Great! The Elevator’s not working!

Ada: *frowned* I guessed this is what’s free accommodation like.

The two turned back for the stair, on the way they met Ruby and Jolin.

Maggie: We have to take the stairs, cause the elevator’s not working?

Jolin: What? What kind of high tech building is this?

Ada: this is the type of high tech building we call free!*smiled*

Maggie and Ada went up the stairs first as Ruby and Jolin hesitantly pulled their big suitcases, and followed.

Ruby: Oh no! How can I manage to get this up the fifth floor? *Sighed, and continued walking*.

Vicki turned the car around, as she left the Iron Gate, two

mini motorbikes drove in and parked at the small spots that

were available. The two young male drivers of the motorbike slowly walked off to the elevator, to get to their desired floor.

Jimmy: Great, elevator’s stuffed up again *frowned, while pushing at the open button.*

Daniel: Come on, we have to take the stairs. Should we complain to the manager of the building?

Jimmy: Yeah! You have the time, so you write it, and I will sign it…

Daniel: Hah! User…

The two men began to walk up the steps, as they continued their conversation.

Daniel: Did you remind Alec that it’s was his turn to take care of dinner?

Jimmy: Of course I did, we’re talking about dinner here! Alec already stopped by the restaurant, he should be back soon.

They continued to walk up.

While Ada and Maggie, had made it to their Apartment, but Ruby and Jolin were still lagging on behind. Among the five the two had the heaviest suitcases, as they liked to pack a lots. While walking up the stair, the two accidentally lost their balance and let go of the handle attached to the suitcase, as they cried out, because their big suitcases slipped off their hands and were about to roll down the stair. Suddenly it was caught back by two men, who were walking up from the level below. Jimmy stopped Ruby’s suitcase, and Daniel got Jolin’s one. ]

Jolin: Aiyah! We’re so sorry.

As Ruby and Jolin ran down a few steps, and grabbed back their suitcase.

Ruby: Thank you! Without you guys, they would have gone all the way down! Said Ruby while grabbing the handle out of Jimmy’s hand.

The four all smiled shyly at each other.

Jimmy: Oh! It’s nothing, we were on our way up as well!
Daniel: If we don’t catch them, then they will get us…
The four smiled softly again.

Jimmy: Oh, you just moved in *looking at Ruby*

Ruby: Yeah! It’s our first day…so I guess you guys live here too.

Daniel: Yeah..Three of us shared one apartment. I’m Daniel, and he’s Jimmy, the other one is Alec.

Jolin: Oh! I’m Jolin.

Ruby: Ruby! We shared one apartment as well, with other three.

Jolin: Speaking of which, I think we better get back.

Daniel: What floor are you heading to ?

Jolin: Um…Five…I think *looking at Ruby*.
Ruby nodded.

Jimmy: Oh we’re in the sixth floor, so how about letting us help you guys with the suitcases..

Daniel: Yes, that’s right, we are still going up, plus you girls are too weak for this…

The girls giggled softly to each other, and then accepted the offer. So Jimmy and Daniel were more than happy to help Ruby and Jolin, dragged the two big suitcases to the fifth floor.

Down on the ground floor, Vicki was lucky enough, to found a spot near by. So she parked the car, took her suitcase out, and pulled it to the elevator of the building.

Vicki: Um! Not working *looking at the elevator*….Oh well, since I haven’t done any exercises today yet! So here goes! *Began to walked up the stair.*

While outside, another motorbike pulled into the car park, as Alec walked out with a bag of take away in one hand, and came to the elevator.

Alec: Here we go!! Elevator’s not working. I should ask Daniel to do a complaint to the landlord.
*Turned, and walked to the stair. *

Vicki was breathless, as she had to use all her strength to drag her suitcase up the steps. Just when she got to the forth floor. She started to puff.

Vicki: Gosh! I’m not looking forward to exercise like this everyday!

Suddenly she glanced down to the floor, her eyes shocked, as she spotted a little white mouse, was crawling from the stair going down toward her..

Vicki: Yah.Gosh, mouse… She curved up her leg and kicked the mouse down. The little white mouse went rolling down to the stair, landing under Alec’s foot, as he just reached the scene.

Alec: Mossy! Why are you here? What happened to you? *He bent down pick up the mouse in his hand. Suddenly he looked up to see a strange girl rushing down the stair, screaming at him.*

Vicki: AiYah! That’s a mouse, put it down. I’ll throw it down the stairs to kill it.

Alec: Wait, wait, what are you trying to do? Murder my Mossy?

Vicki: Who’s the hell is Mossy? I only want to kill the mouse!

Alec: Wait! He’s Mossy, my pet… *Showing to her the little white mouse in his hand, as Vicki looked at him with disgust.*

Vicki: Ehhh!! How could you take a mouse as your pet, are you crazy or what??

Alec: Of course I’m not crazy, you’re the one. Coming out from nowhere and trying to murder my Mossy.

Vicki: Me tried to murder your stupid mouse? It’s that stupid thing that tried to fright me. And who allow you to keep a mouse in here anyway?

Alec: Hah? Who are you? And there no such rule that didn’t allow tenants in this Apartment to keep pets!

Vicki: You’re calling that white thing, a PET?

Alec: Sure! Now would you excuse me, we have to go home! *With that, Alec picked up his take away, gave a cheeky smile at Vicki, and pushed her aside so he could make his way up the stairs. *

Vicki looked up, irritated, but soon she picked up her suitcase and walked to the fifth floor, Room 24.

Inside the room.

Ada and Maggie had got in long before the others. So they decided to take a rest on the sofa first. Waiting for the rest to join in. Not long later Ruby and Jolin pushed in with bright smiles on their face.

Maggie: What took you guys so long?

Jolin: Oh! We just have some problem with the suitcases, but the guys were kind enough to help out!

Ada: What guys?

Ruby: Oh! The guys’ up-stair!! Um.. The people here are so kind.

Jolin: And cute!! *Both girls started to giggle together. But not long after. Vicki flung the door opened, and stumbled clumsily in*

Ada: Gosh? What’s wrong with you?

Vicki: People in here are so stupid!

Maggie: Umh, why such a conflicting comment to Ruby’s and Jolin’s?

Jolin: What’s wrong, Vicki?

Vicki: I just met the most idiotic guy on the earth.

Ruby: Um! Sound like fighting already…

Vicki: Hey! Don’t remind it. Now let us settle. Gosh this place is not bad *As she stood up to look around. *

Maggie: We already checked, there are five bedrooms. So we can each have our own room.

Jolin: Great! Good sign so far.

Ada: There one room with the window view.

Vicki: I get it! *As Vicki quickly ran into the first bedroom. Pushing Jolin and Ruby who also wanted the room away.*

Maggie: There’s another room, with the window view as well.

Jolin: It’s mine…*Yelled Jolin, as she rushed into the second bedroom, before Ruby. *

Ada: And there is one room directly leading to the bathroom.

Ruby: No question! I’ll take that. *She walked into the third bedroom. *

Maggie: I’ll guess that leaves us to the last two rooms. *Looking at Ada. *

Ada: *nodded*…No choice.

Chapter 4

Ruby: Vicki, come on, we going shopping…Wake up, sleepy… *began to shake Vicki to wake her up.*

The other three were already dressed liked Ruby, as they all came in to Vicki bedroom. Ada went over and drew the curtain, to let the sun shine on Vicki’s face. But there was no response.

Jolin: Aiyah! Vicki! Wake up, aren’t you looking forward to shopping in Hong Kong… *she helped Ruby to shake Vicki*

Maggie: *frowned*. Looks like she still needs to catch up on a lot of sleep…

Ada: I think we better go without her..

Ruby: Vicki, are you going to wake up now? Otherwise, we going to leave you home *Yelled in Vicki’s ears* But still no response.

Jolin: Okay! That’s it. We’re going..

With that, all four gave up. As they slowly withdrew from Vicki’s room and left the house, they locked Vicki inside, since they had to bring the key with them to make a copy for each person.

Later that morning, upstairs.

(Please Note, this is a kind of Apartment block. Every single apartment, has the same living room, kitchen and balcony features, except the number of bedrooms might to vary. The guys apartment is right on top of the girl’s apartment. Their houses are exactly the same in style and design, except the guys’ place doesn’t have the two extra bedrooms.)

It’s Saturday, so the guys didn’t have to work, and they all were enjoying their breakfast.

Daniel: Alec! You better watch over that Mossy of yours! looking at Alec, while having his coffee.

Jimmy: I agreed. At least, find a top to cover it in that glass box.

Alec was playing with his Mossy which was placed in a well decorated glass rectangular box. But it doesn’t have a lid. So the mouse usually got out, and finds its way down the stairs, or hiding around the house. It was almost a normal routine, that little Mossy would get out of its box, and Alec would have to go and look for him all around the building.

Alec: Would you guys relax? Mossy knows where his house is, so he will return. He was talking to Daniel and Jimmy, but his concentration was on Mossy as he put in his finger to play with it.

Both Daniel and Jimmy just shook their heads together. Giving up on Alec.

Vicki, finally woke up from her sleep.

Vicki: *Yawn*…Wow…everyone just left…Stretching her body.

After a quick clean up in the bath room, she walked out to the kitchen, passing the living room, to get a drink, and walked back into the living room, thinking she may go out to the balcony for some fresh air.

Vicki: Hum…after a good sleep, you can really feel refreshed hum…Took in a deep breath, walking to the balcony.

Suddenly she paused, at a little white shadow, running side to side, at the flowerpot out the balcony.

Vicki: Hahhhh!! You stupid thing again. How can you get here…Oh my god..I’m going to get you…Stay there… Looking at little mossy playing around in the flowerpot at the front balcony. She looked around to find a weapon for the mouse. By then the front door had opened as everybody had returned.

Jolin: Wah! What’s wrong, we can still hear you screaming out the front…haven’t you got enough sleep? The first one to step into the house, she put down her bags, and raced to Vicki at the balcony. The other four followed into the house right after.

Meanwhile, upstairs.

Alec just finished the morning shower, as he walked out of his bathroom, feeling nice and fresh. Daniel was watching the morning news, while Jimmy was reading the headline newspaper.

Alec: Aiyah! Where is Mossy? He cried when glancing pasted the empty box.

Jimmy: What already it’s still early in the morning..

Daniel: I told you to move that box, away from the window, it could easily climb out of the window and get to the balcony, and fall downstairs again. Standing up and walked to the balcony, to looked down for Mossy.

Meanwhile downstairs, Jolin walked up to Vicki.

Jolin: Wah! How can that mouse get here, could it have fallen from the sky…

Vicki: How on earth would I know, it was just there.
Jolin: Let’s me see, what’s up there. She walked out the balcony, and looked up.

Upstairs

Daniel walked out to the balcony, and looked down.

Daniel: Aiyah! Jolin?? *He cried to her, downstairs, with a smile.*

Jimmy: Who??

Alec: Who’s Jolin??

Downstairs.

Jolin: Daniel, wah, is the cute guys we met…*turning to Ruby*.

Ruby: Really? Let’s me see…*rushing out to the balcony*.

Vicki: Hey? What guys!

Ruby looked up, and met with Jimmy.

Ruby: Hi, there!!

Upstairs,

Jimmy: Hi!! Wow, those pretty girls are below us…*looking back to Daniel.*

Alec: Wait! What pretty girl I wanted to see. He rushed out the balcony, and pulled Jimmy away so he could see.

Downstairs,

Vicki: Wait, What cute guys, I want to see. *stepped out the balcony, only to see a big disappointment, as she turned angry.*

Vicki: You! Again… *Jolin and Ruby felt strange, so they both leaned over beside Vicki, to look up.*

Upstairs,

Alec: What! You …

*Daniel and Jimmy gave a curious looked to each other, and together they leaned over beside Alec to have a look down.*

The three met each other.

Vicki: Wait, I guess your stupid pet, just enter our property without our permission.

Alec: Hey! Don’t you there touch my Mossy.

Jolin: The mouse, is your guy’s pet..

Daniel: It’s his, not ours!

Ruby: That’s easy, just give the mouse back.

Vicki: No! I’m going to throw it down the street!

Alec: Wait!! Don’t you dare..

Vicki: You challenged me.. Let’s see. She picked up the mouse by it tail.

Ruby: Vicki! Come on, it’s his pet so let’s return it to him..

Jolin: Yeah, we just moved in, so try to be friends.

Vicki: Who’s friend with that stubborn four eyes! (Alec was wearing glasses)

Alec: Wait don’t hold Mossy’s by its tail..

Jimmy: I think we can talk it out..

Daniel: Let’s go downstairs…

Jolin: Hey they’re coming down..

Ruby: let’s go outside to meet them..

Vicki: Wait, let’s me throw this thing out first then we’ll settle..

Jolin and Ruby: Come on let’s go… Pushing behind Vicki’s back, forcing her to the door

Maggie and Ada, just sat at the kitchen, watching the whole scene.

At the front door,

The moment Alec saw Vicki with his mouse, he quickly ran over..

Alec: Wait! Give me back my Mossy.

Vicki: pulled back the mouse. Wait! It’s your stupid mouse, that’s creating problems, what do you have to say!

Alec: Nothing… Jimmy: *cut in*..No…what he meant was, we are wrong, and it’s none of your fault

Ruby: Come on, Vick! It’s over, return it to him…

Daniel: Yeah, we’re really sorry, we will help him to watch over Mossy so it won’t run away again.

Jolin: Vicki! Come on, they said sorry.

Jimmy: That’s right, we’re really sorry.

Vicki: I don’t want you guys to say sorry! I want him…pointing at Alec.

Alec: In your dreams…

Vicki: Fine, so you’ll see Mossy in your dreams then.

Alec: Wait!!

Jimmy: Alec comes on, you want your Mossy back.

Daniel: It’s only one word..

Alec: Alright then,…Sorry!

Vicki: I didn’t hear you!

Alec: SORRY.

Vicki: HEy, who asked you to yell.

Jolin: Come on, he said it…

Ruby: So let’s end it here…

Jolin and Ruby grabbed hold at Vicki’s hand, forcing her, to give it out.

Alec quickly grabbed back the mouse, and walked up stair..

Jimmy & Daniel: Sorry for this…

Ruby: It’s nothing..

Jolin: Don’t worry..

*Then the two girls waved good bye to the guys, and walked into the house after Vicki.*

Inside…

Maggie: So, the big party ended?

Vicki: Hum, at least I gave that stupid guy a lesson.

Ada: so they live upstairs.

Jolin: Yeap…. Right above us..

Jimmy: They such a gentlemen..

Vicki: Not that stupid four eyes…A guy keeping a mouse as his pet, how sick is he…??

The four girls frowned to themselves. They knew quite well, that when Vicki hated somebody, she will not let it go easy. And now her enemies happened to be living only above them, there could be big problems in the future.

Chapter 5

Jolin: Aiyah, Vicki, your cooking is so good, you going to make me put on weight soon!

Ada: I know, where did you learn to cook so well?

Vicki: Oh, just a few tricks from my mother. But since I cooked, so the four of you should take turn to do the dishes..

Ruby: Wah, I don’t want to, the soap water going to crack my fingers.

Maggie: I knew you’re going say that, see all ready prepare, packs of gloves for you to use..

Ruby: *frowned, no more excuses, now!*

Ada: *smiled*. Anyway, Maggie and me will do the dishes tonight, the next is you two. *Pointing at Jolin and Ruby*

(Ruby and Jolin, jumped out with joy, as they left the dinning table, to join Vicki in the living room, sitting carelessly on the sofa, suddenly, our Vicki had an idea.)

Vicki: Wah, since we have to start work on Monday, tonight can be count as our only free night.

Ruby: Yeah so…??

Vicki: So why don’t we go out and have fun, otherwise when we start work already, we would be stacks in it…

Jolin: Um…that’s sound good, but where should we go..

Vicki: Um..got me there, I don’t know..

Ruby: Wah, I known, remember when we were at the supermarket *looking at Jolin* there were a few people hanging out flyer for a new Karaoke bar.

Jolin: Oh, yes, that’s right..where is that flyer..

Ruby: I think Maggie kept it.

Jolin and Vicki: Maggie…. *At the same time, Ada and Maggie just finished in the kitchen, as they moved slowly to join in with the rest.*

Maggie: What? Missed me already.

Jolin: Yeah right! Have you still keep that flyer we picked up this morning?

Maggie: What flyer?

Ada: Is it this one *pulling out a folded piece of paper from her back pocket*

Ruby: Ah, yes…*rushing over to grab the paper*

Vicki and Jolin, also stand up and dash to Ruby, as the three girl read the flyer carefully for the address.

Maggie: Wah? Would some one tell me what going on?

Vicki: I will, get dress.

Ada: Why?

Jolin: We’re going for a Karaoke night.

Ruby: Cause this may be the only night we have free, once working started we’ll stack.

Maggie: That, actually not bad.

The rest yelled “hoooray” for the news, as they dismissed to their room, half on hour later, everyone off for some fun.

At the new Karaoke bar.

The waiter: Here, this is your room. All the discs are ready, enjoy yourself, the bar is outside, when you need anything just so out to get it.

Alec: Thanks, here you tip.

The Waiter: Thank you sir, please enjoy!. *Walked out of the room and closed the door.*

It was a mini room, fix no more then 10 people, with a very comfy couch in the middle, a small table, a few smaller seats. And a big Karaoke system, with packed of music disks. The make the room, less crown, the wall was all by glass, so people can really see what going on in the room next to them.

Jimmy: Hey this place is not bad!!

Daniel: Very comfy!!

Alec: See, I told you guys our Saturday night going to be worth wide.

In another Karaoke room.

Waiter: There you go, Miss. please enjoys yourself.

Ada: Thank you, there you go! *giving a small tip*

Daniel just finished his song..

Alec: you’re actually getting better I can’t believe that…

Jimmy: Yeah, not like you *teasing Alec, who turned around and gave him a punch.*

As Daniel walking out, and Jimmy putting on his song. Alec was distracted my hearing echo of a song from Madonna, his favored pop singer. As he turned to the wall behind, viewing what going on at next door. A group of young girl singing “We are family!”

“Oh…my…God, I see her again, looks like she everywhere that I go…my life going to be haunted.” Alec frowned.

Jolin: Aiyah, I need a drink for this.. *As she stood up to open the door, while the other still enjoying inside.*

Outside the room, Jolin bumped into Daniel, who was walking back with a tray of drinks.

Jolin: Opps, sorry, she looked up…Er? It’s you.. *smiled.*

Jolin: Yeah, me and my friend having a night out…I’m just going to get a drink too.

Daniel: Here take this, don’t worry it fresh water, I just picked up for my friends in there. *Pointing to the next room.*

Vicki walked outside, almost bump into Jolin and Daniel , who were chatting non stop with each other.

Jolin: Vicki? What are you doing up there.

Vicki: Oh? Am I disturbing something special.

Jolin and Daniel both blushed on Vicki’s tease, as Daniel make a few stepped back to the door, when it flung open and Alec stepped out the two guys bumping to each other.

Alec: Aiyah! Daniel, you’re here, what took you so long..

Daniel: I…I caught up with a friend. *Looking at Jolin. Alec also looked up and smiled at Jolin, but his eye turn shuttle looking at Vicki.*

Vicki: You, again, how come I also have to see people I don’t want to see.

Alec: Sorry miss, to annoy you, but for your information, I felt the same.

Meanwhile inside one of the room.

Jimmy suddenly found himself been left alone, as he decided to find Daniel and Alec.

Ruby: Um…why did Vicki and Jolin took so long. Here you two can take over, I’m go and look for the other two. *Passing the microphone to Ada.*

Outside the hall.

Jimmy just walked out.

Jimmy: Wow, so everyone all standing here?

The other door opened as Ruby stepped out.

Ruby: Oh! So you guys all out here.

Jimmy: Hi Ruby!

In the room,

The noises outside attracted Ada and Maggie. Together they stepped out to the hallway.

Maggie: Wow how come everybody gathered out here!

Ada: We felt left out!

The three guys got a little puzzled among the two new ladies they haven’t seen before.

Jolin: Oh, They’re the three guys from up stair..*she explained to the two just came out.*

Maggie: Oh..I see, so you three must be the famous musketeer. I’m Maggie.

Ada: Hi all, I’m Ada.

Vicki: looks more like 2 charming swans and a four eyes ugly duckling. *She mumbled to Jolin and Ruby, whom standing beside her and then glanced at Alec.*

Alec: You!! *He was about to step closer to Vicki, when Jimmy and Daniel quickly stopped him.*

Jimmy: *Tried to put on a laughing face, while still holding on Alec*… So you guys just moved in down stair.

Daniel: In that case, I think we’re neighbors! *pushed on Alec to tell him to smile.*

Jolin: *smile to Daniel* Yeah we’re neighbors now..

Ruby: that’s right, we’re good neighbors! *patched on Vicki to brighten up.*

Everybody then got to know each other more, except for the two enemies, who kept giving each other evil glances.

Chapter 6

Alec: *sitting up from his bed in shock*. What was that noise? He asked himself?

Unfortunately for Alec the alarm went on for another 15 minutes, until Ruby giving up as she slammed to Vicki room, to shut off the alarm, and rock Vicki out of bed.

The girl reported at the Hong Kong Royal Detective Police force, at 7 o’clock. Firstly Ms Feng took them around the station, to show them briefly where thing are.

Ms Feng: When emergency, you can pick out any keys from this track here to use our covered cars. Ms Feng explained as they reached the back car park*

Vicki: That’s sound better at least we don’t all stack in one car..

They returned back to the office to received their first task.

Ms Feng: Here are your bells, and badges with ID as well. Remember to wear them with you all the time.

The girls been given each a Photo ID card, with a Police detective silver badge, and a leather bell, with handcuff, gun, and weapon attached to it. They suppose hide it from their clothes, since they were all detective police.

Ms Feng: Here are the lists of missing people from the last three years. Take it easy before any big cases come up.

Maggie: Thank you Ms Feng *take over the big files*

Ms Feng: One more thing before you leave. I think you already been told. That as a Detective police. You need to hide your identity as much as possible..

Ada: We understand clearly, Ms.

Ms Feng: Good. I wish you all the best ladies.

All five stepped her feet and greet good bye.

Vicki: Instead we have to go through a bunch of old papers, and supposed to remember all the faces that disappeared two or three years ago.

Ruby: This was a lot easier then I thought…

Maggie: Or you’re be crying out loud later, when the real work comes.

Suddenly, Leo worked in to the room, as he happily greeted to all the ladies.

Leo: Hi, Ladies! It’s pasted lunchtime already, take your break now! You should go easy when you don’t have a lot of things to go on.

Vicki: Great, it lunch time already, Now you mentioned it! I’m hungry.

Ruby: Okay, so we can have a break.

Jolin: But for how long.

Leo: About one hour.

The girl had no objection, as they packed up and collect their personal gear to go down the shop.

As they got out of the Station big gate.

Vicki and Jolin: Okay! They replied and turned to walk in the right direction, while the other three turned for the left heading to a state bank near by.

Alec: I can’t believe that Mr Chang (their manager), is getting so much harder!

Daniel: I known the other newsmagazine, been digging up a lot of exciting news. But we always arrived late.

Alec: Well, I only write for the Social life section, and now he wanted me to go and stalk on movie stars.

Daniel: You’re not the only one, Jimmy and me as well. Unfortunately people like to read private life about movie stars more then, the news.

Well, by now we know that the boys, all three worked as reporter for a big Magazine office.

As they walking and enjoying talking. Daniel paused, as his eye stared straightforward.

Daniel: *Smiled forward*. Look it’s the girls downstairs.

Alec looked out to where Daniel was pointing.

Alec: Oh-no. *frowned* here comes that spiky head girl again. Spotting at Vicki.

Vicki was holding on Jolin hand, as they swinging the arms while walking together.

Vicki: Oh- Gosh…*paused and sigh* There is that four eyes guy again. Looking at Daniel and Alec walking toward to them.

Jolin Daniel! *Looked up to where Vicki laid her eyes* Wow. Now I truly believed that Hong Kong is small.

As they were approaching to the girls at the reasonable distance. Alec pretended whisper to Daniel. But instead he spoken out loud.

-Daniel. I can’t believed women these day still can be hand in hand together, and not affair people might call them, what is that word again, oh yeas lesbian!

-Alec!! Daniel humbled out, as he wanted to covered Alec’s mouth, before he turn thing worst.

Unfortunately Vicki and Jolin both heard it.

Vicki: Hah, what’s wrong with women holding hand. *Put her hand out to grab at Jolin’s hand.* No one would bother as us, even if we hugging each other. Lead over and cuddle Jolin, Jolin also return with a hug. We can even kiss each other in public. Whoa…*she kissed on Jolin cheek, and Jolin happily gave back a peak.* See no one will notice or pay attention to us. But…we you guys try to hold hands hug and kiss. Definitely a big deal. A sign of what is it call again, turning to Jolin. Oh yes.. GAY! *The girls giggled together, mocking at Alec.*

The guys been watching the girls action in speechless. Especially Alec, he was annoy at every time he planned for a payback, some how Vicki always manage to get a head of him.

Daniel: Um…he puzzled, also feeling a little bit embarrassing, the girls had a point there…My friend here, didn’t mean that *As he put out his hand to hold back Alec. We were just talking…*

Jolin: We were joking too.! *Jolin helped Daniel to relax.*

Vicki: I knew exactly what he meant, you don’t have to cover for your chicken friend. Come on Jolin let go back, or that big four eyes chicken, will want a rematch, which I don’t have time to defeat him again. *Pulling Jolin’s arm as they walked passed the guys.*

Jolin turned around and waved good bye to Daniel, he also returned the wave. But Alec was raging with anger.

Daniel: Come on Alec! Let’s go.

Alec: WHAT? Haven’t you heard what that spiky hair girl called me ..I swear I’m going to get her back..

Daniel: Well some other time? We’ll late.

By that Daniel pulled hard Alec back to the other direction, and walked off.

Maggie and Ada entered the State bank and started to line up to be served. Ruby was with them, but she just stopped by some shops outside to have a look at the clothes.

Every body was enjoying with their normal banking day. Until one of the service lady cried out from the window as a man pointed a gun to her for money. The robber got shock of the lady reaction, he turned around finding everyone all stared at him in fright. His plan had broke.

Maggie gave Ada a signal look, for her to moved to the back, while Maggie moved to block out his exit way. Both girls were preparing to pull out their own gun from their bell.

In an urged to get away as soon as possible. The robber turned around rapidly pointing to gun everywhere so people could make ways for him to move. Then he slowly walked out, unaware Ada was all the time behind his back, and at the door Maggie was sitting down, but waiting to grab hold of him the moment to exit through the door.

Suddenly, a little boy cried out in fright at in one end of the room and he ran to his mother, squatting down in fear at the other end of the room.

Boy: MUMMY…mummy..

The robber immediately pointed the gun to the kid.

Maggie: Drop it or I’ll shot. Yelled from the door, as she stand up with her gun pointing at the robber hoping it could prevented him from aiming at the kid. But there were no reaction from the man.

Ada: You are surrounded by police so quit it. She also pulled out her gun pointing at him.

As seeing no chance to escape, the man wanted to create a disturbing, by pulling to trigger at the little boy running to his mother. Ada was closed by, on the seeing of that, she quickly jumped over to cover for the child. But the bullet hit at her left shoulder, as she felt down on the ground covering safety for the kid.

Ruby: Just walked in to see Ada got shot. Ada…

The room got disturbs, as both Maggie and Ruby ran to Ada, the man took the chance to run out the door.

Maggie: Ruby, take care Ada here, I got to catch that man, call help as well. *After that she flu out the door running after the robber.*

Just one block away.

Vicki: Hah! I wonder have they finished in the bank yet?.

Jolin: Properly, do you want to go back the station or to the bank?.

Vicki: May as well, drop by the bank, it’s only a block away.

Suddenly, the people yelling on the street distract the girls, as they looked up only to catch a view of a man running like madness passing them, holding a gun on his hand. Behind was Maggie yelling out.

Maggie: Grab that guy for me.

Vicki: Jolin, hold. *She passed the bag on her hand to Jolin, and immediately turned to chase after the man.*

Jolin, was about to run after Vicki, but Maggie caught up to her.

Maggie: Jolin go back to the bank to help Ruby, Ada been shot, and tell the direction for the duties police to go after us.

Jolin: What? Okay, I’ll go back..be careful.

Both girl depart Maggie followed after Vicki and the robber. Jolin went back to help Ruby and Ada.

Vicki managed to chase the man into a smaller street. As the robber ran to the dead end, he fearfully turned over and pointed the gun at Vicki in a shaking position.

Robber: Don’t come over or I’ll shot.

Vicki: Shot who, me or you? *By that she quickly jumped up, holding on to a iron pole across the two walls, she swung herself upward, and kicked hard to the guy’s hands, which were holding on the gun. The weapon dropped to the ground as the robber in shock, making the last run to escape back in the big street.*

Bad luck for him. Maggie reached the scene, as she twisted her body and gave another kick to the man stomach. He flung back to the wall.

Vicki, jumped down, quickly she ran over to hold back the robber. *She turned his two arms to the back, and grab out the handcuff on her bell.*

Maggie: We are arresting you, for exempting to rob the State bank, and injured a Police detective. You can remind silent, but everything you say will be use as evidence to the court. *Maggie said, pointing the gun down, while Vicki locked the man’s hands.*

Soon, the uniform duties Police arrived, with a van to take over the man.

Maggie: I want you to put the man in the Royal Police Detective building! Aanyone ask, say Xiao Hua Sqaud will be takinh care pf this. *Ordered to the uniform police. And walked back the to bank with Vicki.*

Vicki: Hah.. *grinned* ..We got our first chase. Who did he shot by the way.

Maggie: Ada got shot. Ruby and Jolin taking care at the bank.

Vicki: What? Aiyah, poor Ada. We better get back to see what happened?

When Maggie, and Vicki got back to the State Bank they met up with Jolin, whom told them that Ada got sent to hospital by emergency, Ruby went with her.

Chapter 7

Nurse: Miss Choi, you’re awoke, how are you?

Ada: Um…I’m fine thanks *sitting up from her lying position.*

Nurse: Don’t worry your injury is not that serious. The doctor will come and check up on you soon. Oh, by the one, your friend, Miss Lin, she just left, and saying that she have to go back to the station. *Walking out of the door, leaving Ada by herself in the room.*

Ada:…Great *frowned* the first day on the job and I already got a bullet.

Just then she heard a door knock as the handle began to turn and a handsome man with a perfect body build (well to Ada’s he’s perfect) walked in.

The man: Hi! How are you?

Ada: Hi…*dreamingly*

The man: I’m doctor Wu, I’ll be taking care of you from now on.

Ada: Really? *Amazed*..Great…*cried*

Doctor Wu: What? *a little confused*

Ada: Um..no nothing… as she looked away feeling embarrassed with her action just then.

At the Royal Police Station, in Xiao Hua office

Vicky: I wonder how Ada is doing, Ruby hasn’t been back yet!

Jolin: Don’t worry, the emergency staff said it didn’t look very serious cause she got a thick jacket on, stopping the bullet’s way.

Vicky: Okay! Then I wonder how Maggie is doing, she asking Mr Cao to let us take charge of this case..

Jolin: Aiyah…Vicky …ah… *sighed*. Can you just stop wondering for awhile, everyone is going to be a-okay!

Vicky: How do you know. That Chief is really a picky man, will he listens to Maggie and by the way, it’s look like he doesn’t like us girls very much.

Just then a knock outside the window wish distracted the ladies conversation, as they looked up toward the door looking at a tall tan man, dressed professionally with his vest suit. As he entered the office approaching the ladies at their table.

The man: Excuse me, is this the Xiao Hua office.

Vicky: Um..huh..How can we help you?

The man: And you ladies are….?

Jolin: Detective Jolin Tsai *showing out her ID badge.*

Vicky: Vicky Zhao! *Did the same as Jolin, showing out her ID*

The man: I’m Louis Koo, Lawyer represents for Mr Ching. The man whom you people just arrested this morning.

Vicky: You mean the man that robbed the bank.

Louis: Um..for now you can say that!

Jolin: Well, he’s already been locked up, and will be in custody at this station.

Louis: I like to make a bail application, is that all right?

Vicky and Jolin: No, it’s not alrite!

Jolin: He was arrest for two charges so far, attempting to rob the State Bank, and violently injured one of the Police member.

Vicky: Before the first hearing court, he is yet to have permit to apply for bail.

Louis: But…As Louis as about to engage in the verbal debate. But the three got distracted by Zhou from the little puppy appeared at the door.

Zhou: Lawyer Koo..How are you?

Louis: Mr Zhou, one of my owner had been kept in custody in here since this morning and I want to make a bail application for me but..

Vicky: But he can’t…

Zhou: Who said that, you ladies just arrived may be you don’t understand very well. Let’s me take over this. Mr Koo, please follow me..

With that Zhou took Louis out of the office.

Jolin: Who is that guy think he is?

Vicky: a snob pig.!

Both girls joined in with a laugh, then Ruby pushed through the door.

Ruby: What’s so funny, I want to hear?

Vicki: Hey, You’re back! How’s Ada.

Jolin: Why didn’t you stay back with her.

Ruby: Relax, girls. She’s fine and was sleeping peacefully when I left. I thought better to get back and check out what happening here? Where is Maggie?

Jolin: She went to see Mr Cao, asking permission to take over the case.

Ruby: Oh..The man been captured..?

Vicky: Yeap, thanks to me! Hey Maggie backs, and she’s even had a smile on her face.

Three girls turned their attention to Maggie, who just walked in the door.

Maggie: Ruby, you’re back. How’s Ada?

Maggie: Succeeds, Mr Cao had given the Case of Ching to us.

Jolin: That’s great, but the suspect is about to be release.!!

Vicky: There was this lawyer came in before, asking to make a bail application for Ching.

Jolin: we tried to stop him. We told him to wait for the court tomorrow.

Vicky: But that snobby Zhou puppy came over and took him, they properly going to the bailer right now.

Ruby: You better phone the bailer to advise him on that.

Jolin: I think we should go down there as well.

Maggie quickly went over to her desk and made a short phone call, telling the bailer not to release Ching in any condition. As she hung up the phone, and turned to the girls.

There were going out, until Lao walked in with a stack of folders in his hands.

Lao: Wait, where are you guys going?

Vicky: We’ll go down the call to stop Ching getting bail out.

Lao: Oh? Well I got Ching’s history here already.

Ruby: We can’t stay back now…

Vicky: Don’t worry, I’ll check the info, you guys can go..

Maggie: Okay, thank you Vick, gals let’s go..

By that Maggie left the room with Ruby and Jolin. Vicky turned over to grab the folders from Leo.

Vicky: Thanks, Leo, you’re so quick!

Leo: That’s why they called me the info boy.

Vicky: I guessed the nick gave a lot reflect on yourself…

Leo blushed upon hearing Vicky nice compliment.

At the bailer front desk.

Zhou: Come on Tim (the bailer), we’re done this before, just let my friend here, apply for the bail now.

Louis: I will make arrangement for you!

Tim: Sorry, But Xiao Hua Squad just rang, if I let him go, how can I answer with them.

Zhou: We still don’t know this really is their case or not, so…

The three guys turned to look at the three girls who were walking in. Maggie was first, she stepped straight to stand in front of Zhou and Louis, showing out the permission paper.

Maggie: Mr Zhou, and Mr Koo, I believed. This is out permission paper, we are permanently took over the robbery case of Ching, and we decided to kept him under custody until the court hearing.

Zhou and Louis both froze looking at the paper. Soon, they had nothing else to say, rather then to leave.

Chapter 8

Ada was sitting quietly in her bed, bored with herself. Until..when the door opened.

Vicky: Hey there, little patient.

Jolin: Boring!!Yet?

Ruby: So here we are, to cheer you up.

Maggie: Don’t blame me, I told them you need the rest, but one against three, I lost the big time!

Ada: That’s okay, I’m so glad you guys came, I was very boring, here!

Vicki and Jolin, rushed to sit on both side of the bed. Ruby stood at the end of the bed, and Maggie was not far away!

Maggie: Hey, don’t worry Ada, we already asked, you’ll be out of here in two more days.

Ada: What two days, that’s soon!??

Jolin: Why? I thought, you were bored, is there??

Vicky: Is there something else? That you want to tell!!

Ruby: We’re waiting..

Ada, got embarrasses of the four pair of eyes staring at her, waiting for the right bait to start teasing on her, just then the door got open again.

Doctor Wu: Hey, I didn’t know you were busy!

Ada: Oh, no worry, they’re just friends.

Jolin: Yes, we’ll close friend!

Vicky: Sharing the same house.

Ruby: Working in the same place?

Maggie: And you are? *Asking at Doctor Wu.*

Doctor: Oh, I’m Ada’s doctor. Doctor Wu

Ruby, Jolin and Vicky: Oh, Ada’s doctor Wu. *Teasing at Ada*.

Doctor Wu: Oh, please call me Nicky.

Ruby, Jolin, and Vicky: Oh, it Nicky! *talking to each other*.

Nicky: I just have to do a check up on Ada now.

Maggie: Come on guys, someone is waiting for their check up.

Ruby: Okay! Take care Ada, as if you going to be alone or anything like that.

Jolin: We’re not needed here, shall be leaving for the one who is more important.

Vicky: *whispered to Ada*. Don’t worry I’ll try to make you stay here longer than 2 days…Bye..

The four cheekily left the room, with all sounds of giggles.

Nicky: So there you’re friends..

Ada: Yeap *frowned* Unfortunately.!!

Alec: I’m not like you guys, sticking my head to other people business..

Jimmy: But we only write the truth!! Hey do you want to take my story, it’s about…

Alec: No, I don’t want to..

Daniel: Alec, if you don’t change, then you’ll lose your payment..

Daniel: Alec, you’re girlfriend calling you!!

Alec: Shut up, she’s not my girlfriend, I’m even to scare to consider her as a friend.

Jimmy: Too bad she think she is your girlfriend..

Alec: Shut up, let’s go…

Daniel: Too late, she’s coming…

Alec: Aiyah..God please helps me, to get out of this one safely.

Chapter 13

As court procedure, the plaintiff (the police side) lawyer would first had to review detail of the case. Then call for the witness. It was Maggie turn.

Plaintiff lawyer: Miss Chueng, can you please describe in your honest word of what happened when you appeal at the State bank on 23 of October.

Maggie slowly retold on every detail that she remembered on the day.

**Flashback.**
Maggie and Ada entered the State bank and started to line up to be served. Ruby was with them, but she just stopped by some shops outside to have a look at the clothes.

Every body was enjoying with their normal banking day. Until one of the service lady cried out from the window as a man pointed a gun to her for money. The robber got shock of the lady reaction, he turned around finding everyone all stared at him in fright. His plan had broke.

Maggie gave Ada a signal look, for her to move to the back, while Maggie moved to block out his exit way. Both girls were preparing to pull out their own gun from their bell.

In an urged to get away as soon as possible. The robber turned around rapidly pointing to gun everywhere so people could make ways for him to move. Then he slowly walked out, unaware Ada was all the time behind his back, and at the door Maggie was sitting down, but waiting to grab hold of him the moment to exit through the door.

Suddenly, a little boy cried out in fright at in one end of the room and he ran to his mother, squatting down in fear at the other end of the room.

Boy: MUMMY…mummy..

The robber immediately pointed the gun to the kid.

Maggie: Drop it or I’ll shot. *Yelled from the door, as she stand up with her gun pointing at the robber hoping it could prevented him from aiming at the kid. But there were no reaction from the man.*

Ada: You are surrounded by police so quit it. *She also pulled out her gun pointing at him.*

As seeing no chance to escape, the man wanted to create a disturbing, by pulling to trigger at the little boy running to his mother. Ada was closed by, on the seeing of that, she quickly jumped over to cover for the child. But the bullet hit at her left shoulder, as she felt down on the ground covering safety for the kid.

Plaintiff Lawyer: Miss Chueng, can you describe who was the defendant expression during that time.

Maggie: He was really violent and vicious!

Plaintiff Lawyer: Was he acted like he knows what he was doing.

The Case goes on with a few more witnesses, including the little boy mother, and few workers from the bank, and Ada herself. But the final decision came that Ching was pleased guilty, and he was sentenced to jail for 5 years.

Mr Sum, stood still with Vicki watching over him, as a few minutes later. Maggie’s van pulled up, with Ada, Ruby joining in. Behind them were another two polices vans.

Mr Sum was taken to one van, while his goods were collected into the second van. And the ladies returned to their station with their vehicles.

At the interview room, Maggie and Vicki were doing the question. Jolin and Ruby took the report for the tablets, while Ada went to get a warrant to search for Mr Sum’s house for more evidence

Maggie: Mr Sum, if you co-operated with us, we can lighten the charges on you!

Mr Sum: Yes, I will. But I been telling the truth, the tablets, are not mine, they are from someone else.

Vicki: So whom are they belonged to?

Mr Sum: A guy with the nick name python. He forced me to, if I don’t hold on to the goods, he will burn my house. He is the leader of the area I lived in.

Vicki: What soft of society is this?

Maggie: The one that we are going to face with! Mr Sum, are there anymore tablets in your house?

Mr Sum: Yes, with some stuff of liquid as well.

Vicki: Liquid?

Suddenly, Jolin and Ruby pushed the door in.

Jolin: Got the report! Those tablets for demazin, are called lithium, which similar to normal headache tablets on the shelf.

Ruby: But if they were mixes with a special chemical, it could turn to a manufactured type of drugs, called “amphetamines”

Jolin: Nightclubs use to sell these tablets, to keep people energy level raising. But the user can get overdosed and die.

Mr Sum: *Shocked* I really have no idea that those tablets were drugs. Please believe me!!.

Just then, Ada came back.

Ada: I can’t get the warrant this hour, only in the morning.

Maggie: *Took a few minutes to think* Mr Sum, we’ll going to take you back to your house, and you have to show us where are the rest of the tablets, and the liquid.

Mr Sum: Yes, Yes..I will

Ada: Who else is living with you?

Mr Sum: My wife and I have four daughters. But please they don’t know anything about it!

Maggie: Sure! Everyone, We’ll get going again. Jolin, you call for a few cops to give us a hand.

Jolin: Sure *Jolin walked out first, and a few minutes later, Vicki packed up and they all left*

They got to the house, at 3.am in the morning. After another 2 hour followed, they collected everything that Mr Sum had shown to them. A few more kilos of tablets, with lots of big container of dangerous chemicals were found.

Maggie: Mr Sum, we have to get you back in the station again, until the hearing court tomorrow.

Mr Sum bent his head.

Ada went over to Mr Sum’s wife who was in real shock, and consoled her.

Ada: Mrs Sum. There are a number of dangerous chemicals, inside your house. We will get the expert to come over and dispensed them tomorrow morning. But for now, one of our policemen will stay back and watch over your lobby.

Mrs Sum: Please, is there anything going to happen with my husband.

Ruby: We don’t know but with all the quality of drugs that we found, thing could get serious.

Mrs Sum: *Crying* Please I beg you, he never would do anything like that. Please he’s been frame.

Jolin: We will investigate on that. The main things now is for you or the children not to go near the lobby, until the chemicals are been taken away.

Mrs Sum, quietly nodded and glanced to her husband.

Maggie: Alright, let’s withdraw from here! *Vicki and Ruby handcuffed Mr Sum, and worked with him to the Van. Ada and Jolin organized for a uniformed policeman to stay back and watched over the chemicals. As Maggie turned to walk out, Mrs Sum rushed over and held her back*

Mrs Sum: Please, madam! Please help my husband and my family. He is innocent, and we are basing on him to live, please, I have four very small children to look after, and I can’t do it without my husband!

Maggie comforted the lady. Some how she also sensed that Mr Sum was been framed.

Maggie: Don’t worry, I’ll come back and let you know what happen tomorrow! If anything I can help, I will.

Mrs Sum: Thank you! Thank you.

Maggie then left the house to return to the station.

Chapter 20

Mr Cao: Are you sure you can handle this case? *Concerned*

Maggie: Yes, Sir! We believed we can

Ada: Sum had agreed to co-operate with us. He given the name and the address from a member called Python. We believed he’s the leader in the area.

Jolin: We will start the battle tonight, sir! Giving no chance for the other guys to escape.

Vicki: Sir! We had been here for nearly three months already, yet we never had the chance to show our ability.

Mr Cao: Are you very sure, this can become a very juicy case, and I don’t want, due to catch a small fish, and you stir up the whole lake. Then all the big fishes will run away. Do you know what I mean! *Looking to Ruby*

Ruby: *puzzled* Yes, Sir!

Ms Feng: Sir! I think they can handle it why don’t you give them a try, maybe they can take some extra trope with them.!

Mr Cao: Alright! I’ll give the case to you. But make sure you for representation is good!

The five proudly replied: THANK YOU! SIR.

While the discussion went on inside the office, an shadow been ear dropping in the whole conversation, as to this point he moved away and came back to his office.

Zoil Zhou was by himself, as he secretly picked up the phone and dials the number. Making sure no one is surrounding outside, he carefully reported to the phone.

Zoil Zhou: *talking to the phone* Da ge! Python had been discovered, they will strike tonight, I not sure when, tell him to get vanished.

When the five ladies, finished working with their boss, they returned to their office, preparing for a continuation battle. As they reached to their office door, Maggie saw Sum’s wife, was standing at the front waiting for them.

Mrs Sum: Madam! Is my husband all right! When can he be home? *She asked to the five*

Maggie, waved her hand for the other to walk in first and continued with work. While she stayed behind slowly comforted Sum’s wife, and show her in the office.

Maggie: Your husband will have to attend the court tomorrow. We willing to let him on bail, since he had been co-operating very well. So have you got a lawyer to contact.

Mrs Sum: shook her head sadly, as Maggie continued on.

Maggie: Okey! I’ll call my friend! I think he can help you with it, Okay!

They planned to strike at nighttime, but something tells them, it may be too late, so during late afternoon. The Little Flowers began their work. Maggie gave out the order for the local police to block out the area, incase injury may occur to the innocent.

Before we went out, everything was planned.

Maggie: Vicki and Jolin! You guys take the car and stay behind, if the snake try to escape, you’ll have to start the marathon with him. Ada and I will take the open scene!

Ada: We will go up the house while you guys stayed below. And Ruby. *Turned over to Ruby, who was never keen on the action*

Ruby: I..I…Can I stay in the van!

Maggie: Okay, you’ll stay behind then! Everybody clear!

Vicki: Yep!

Jolin: Sure, got it!

Ada: Okay, Let’s go snake hunting..

They arrived at the area, as the plan took it place. Maggie and Ada, lead a few more uniformed police, went up to the suspect apartment, when they opened the door. They found a group of men was packing up.

Maggie: Pack up guy? Royal Detective! *Pointing the gun out, as all the men dropped what they were doing*

Ada: *Looking down at the unfinished packing* Going somewhere! We want to have a word with Python, the rest of you step to one side. *She demanded while aiming her gunpoint steadily*

Immediately, after the Python name was called, a big man, who been standing with his back facing the cops, quickly jumped out the window, by the water pipe, he dropped down safely to the stair and jumped right in a mini Honda, been parking below.

Ada, quickly rushed out the window, while Maggie, put up the radio transmitter.

Maggie: *Talking to the radio* Vick & Jo, The snake just got down the stair, followed it.

From the car, Vicki quickly started the engine and rushed the car to followed closer behind the Honda, while Jolin replied back to the radio.

Jolin: *Speaking to the radio* We see it, on the way to it no!

Ruby was sitting quietly in the van from the other side, she saw Vicki and Jolin car moved, sensed letting her know as something had gone wrong, so fearfully she rounded herself in the car. At the same time, she viewed a figure of a man running out from the building apartment. He quickly got on the small van which been hidden at the back gate, and drove out in a hurry.

Ruby sensed something fishy, as lesson from the trial tell her to chase after the mysterious van. But she was unsure.

Vicki: Jo! Put the siren on! *Speaking while taking the turn out to the big street, still chasing after the Honda*

Jolin: Okay! *She quickly put up the siren light to the roof of the car, and immediately the light started to flashed and the siren began, as then all other driving vehicles on the street started to back away in one side*

Both girls: Wow! *Gasped, on the affective of the siren*

Maggie and Ada, rounded up at the apartment, they let the uniformed member to take the arrested man back to station, as the two of them rush back to the Van, where Ruby was.

Maggie: Did Jolin report back? *Asking Ruby while she hopped on to the van*

Ruby: No I think they’re still chasing.

Ada: Have you see anything funny down here?

Ruby: Huh? No, I mean yes!

Both Maggie and Ada turned to each other in confuse.

Ada: Did you see anything?

Ruby: Yes, a man running out of the apartment, and drove off in a van.

Maggie: Really? *Get suspicious* When was that?

Ruby: About 15 minutes ago. I known I should be chasing after it, but…

Ada: Don’t worry, let’s wait for Vicki and Jolin!

Vicki was one of the best drivers among the group, as she was also the wild one, so speeding was one of her hobbies. Jolin sitting on the side had to hold on tight to the chair.

Jolin:…Woooow *As Vicki took a turn* Can you not to so rough when turning!

Vicki: For good sake I’m chasing some one!

After a good 15 minutes chase, Vicki managed to push the car into a dead end, so reluctantly the car Honda had to spot, As Jolin was the first on to jump out, and chase after the big driver just went running out of the car.

Jolin: *putting out her gun while running* Stop, or I’ll shot..

But the man keep running as he tried to climb over the fence to the other side, suddenly a bullet was shot directly a few inches above his head, as the man shockingly stopped. Jolin turned behind, after she saw the shot, quickly she turned back to Vicki.

Jolin: Thanks, Vicki!

Vicki: No problem! *As she continued to aimed her gunpoint at the guy* I ordered you to stay still, you don’t want to play with my bullets! Jolin, take him.

The man learned the lesson as he stood still with hands upward, as Jolin quickly ran over and hand cuffed his hand to his back. She searched up and down his body, then took out his wallet from the pocket. By that time, Vicki also came over, as the girls turned fury looking at the name in the license.

Back at the van, Maggie, Ada and Ruby were waiting in-patient, until the radio began the waved.

Vicki voice: Maggie, Ada…We’re been tricked she yelled.

Maggie and Ada looked at each other in worry.

While the three girls were in their fury stage, certainly they heard a knock outside. Opened the door, it was Mr Cao, he been watching their actions from a distance.

Mr Cao: Ladies, Let’s wrap it up. Python, already escape from the back. He used a dummy to trick with your back up plan.

The three girls sighed in disappointment, as Ada ready to start on the van, Maggie ordered to wrap up the scene, while Mr Cao came closer to Ruby.

Mr Cao: Ruby, come back to the station, I’ll have a word with you.

Ruby nodded with full worry.

Chapter 21

So Sum was released, as he came out to meet with his wife, and Maggie.

Mrs Sum: Thank you Madam, for helping me to find a good lawyer for my husband.

Mr Sum: Thank you Madam for believed in me!

Maggie: Don’t thanks me! I just followed the rules, and if you haven’t met with a certain standard, then you still have your own right! *Turning to Mr Sum* You should thanks the lawyer later.

Just then the courtroom’s door opened, as Louis exited and joined in when he saw Maggie was there.

Maggie: Hey Lawyer Koo, Thank you *She teased*

Louis: Don’t worry, and call my Louis if you want to thank me!

Mr Sum: Lawyer Koo, thank you!

Louis: Don’t worry! You can thanks her, the one who rang me *looking at Maggie friendly*

Mrs Sum: We thanked both of you! You are just so nice to us.

Louis: Okay! I think that enough thanking! Mr Sum, you understand all you’re condition. Here is my card, anything later just ring me. *Giving to Sum his business card*

Mr Sum: Thank you sir!..

Mrs Sum: We have to go now, I gave the kids to the neighbor!

Maggie: Okay then you should hurry! Mr Sum, I will see you later!

Mr Sum: Yes sure madam.

With that Sum and his wife greet good bye, leaving Louis and Maggie walking out of the court by themselves.

Louis: You got time for a coffee?

Maggie: Um..Well *uncertain* I got the get back to the station now. Our group just failed our first attack, but Mr Cao didn’t say much. He only called Ruby back for a talk. I sneak out to catch up with you, since I called you so early this morning.

Louis: Oh, you don’t have to worry, I’m happy to help out with Sum’s case. So what happen for Ruby now?

Maggie: Well, I’m not sure you know! Got to go back now..

Louis: Okay, then I won’t bother you! Good luck for Ruby!

Maggie: Thanks, I’ll see you later, may be we can have lunch one day. Bye…

Louis: Sure..Bye..

In Mr Cao’s office, with the present of Mr Cao and Ruby.

Mr Cao: I am very disappointed in you!

Ruby: Sorry Sir!

Mr Cao: That is not enough! If you haven’t got what it take to be a good detective, so why should you work as one!

Ruby looked up in fear, she was speechless.

Maggie just arrived back in Xiao Hua’s office, joining in with the others.

Maggie: How’s Ruby?

Jolin: She still in there! *Pointing at Mr Cao’s closed door*

Maggie: What they been talking all the time when I gone?

Ada: Yes! I think it serious!

Vicki: What is that grumpy difficult man going to do with her. She just didn’t chase after the suspected man, is that a big deal.

Ada: Maybe to a professional like Mr Cao, it is!

Vicki: Professional, why I never see him in action.

But then the door to Mr Cao’s office opened, as everybody turned their eyes over.

Jolin: Hey! Ruby out! *Ran over to Ruby and pulled she in the office*

Maggie: Ruby! What happened? *Ruby began to cry*

Ada: Come on…there…*Started to pat on her shoulder* What happened, tell us?

Jolin: Did Mr Cao yell at you?

Ruby: *sobbed* I been sack… Got to return back to the local station by Monday.

Vicki: *shock* WHAT? *As in others also gasped in wild collision*

At the girl’s place, Ada gone out with Nicky. Maggie went down the shop. The boys had find out what happened from Jolin. Jimmy was dead worry for Ruby so he pulled Daniel and Alec to go downstairs with him.

In the living room area, Vicki, Ruby and Jolin were sitting on the big sofa, as they continued to console Ruby.

Daniel was on the single sofa next to Jolin, and Jimmy was on the other single sofa near Vicki.

After a long talk, Vicki decided to go out for some water, so Jimmy took the chance to move closer to Ruby.

Jimmy: Don’t worry Ruby! At least you’re not unemployed.

Vicki: *Walking to the fridge in the kitchen* Yes Ruby, uniformed police is not that bad, you have proper shifts.. *She glanced coldly at Alec who was standing by the bench looking out to the discussion area, he given her back a no lesser look*

Jolin: Yeah, It doesn’t mean you can’t get back to the squash.

Daniel: Yeah, you got us to support for you!

Alec: Me too! *Speaking from the kitchen out*

Vicki: *Took out a juice box in the fridge] and walked over to the bench to pick out a glass from the top draw, she was standing in the same position with Alec but in a distance* See! Ruby, You got so any supporters.

Alec: *Turning around to her* Am I wrong or you actually agreed with me?

Vicki: Dream on Professor! I’m just trying to support my friend here! *Suddenly she gave out a great yawn* Oh My God, I’m tired!

Jolin: Yeah! Me too! *Stretched her arms*

Daniel: Okay! We’ll be going to let you guys take some rest!

Alec: Sure! Ruby be tough okay. *Then Alec and Daniel walked out the door, with Jolin behind then, suddenly Daniel turned back to look at Jimmy, who were still sitting beside Ruby*

Daniel: Hey! Jimmy are you going?

Jimmy and Ruby looked up in shock, as they forgot that their relationship so far only knew by Alec and Vicki.

Alec: Um..we can go first, Jimbo will catch up later! *Pushed Daniel out the door and Jolin closed it*

Jolin: Ruby! Aren’t you tried?

Ruby: Hah? *She was confused of what to say when she wanted to stay with Jimmy, so she looked at Vicki for help*

Vicki: *Put down her glass and walked to Jolin* Aiyah! Jolin, didn’t you say you were tried! Come on go to bed…*She started to push Jolin back in her room, and forced her to get in*

Jolin: But..I…*Standing back against the door*

Vicki: Come on! I’m tried, so do yo! Let’s go, good night! *She pushed Jolin in the bedroom and closed the door, wait for a while she went back to her bedroom, and dropped dead on her bed*.

The moment, everyone had gone, Ruby felt into Jimmy arms, for comforting.

Chapter 22

Sir Jon: So you’re Ms Lin from the detective squad!

Ruby: Yes sir!

Sir Jon: Well, I think you should know, being in a local police team is not going to be as free as in the squad. You will get shifts to attend everyday, and you have to do your best as always.

Ruby: I understand sir!

Sir Jon: Here is your uniform, change to it and I will introduce you to your partner.

Ruby: Thank you sir! *She bitterly withdrew herself, and walked back to the changing room*

A few minutes later, Ruby had changed into her navy uniform, as she tied her hair to the back so she can wear her big cap.

Ruby: *Looking at herself in the mirror, she complained* This cap surely going to damage my hair, and look at the uniform, I looked like nothing. Not like when I’m still at the squad I can wear anything. *Talking to herself in the mirror* Ruby Lin ah Ruby Lin, this is the punish for you, slacking at work. Um..*she stood herself straight up* I promised I got to find a way to get back in the squad somehow!

Suddenly then, Ruby heard the door of the changing room opened, as she turned around to look at the person just came in. She was a young cop, around same age at Ruby, but she already fixed in her uniform, so Ruby guessed she must be working at the same station. Our girl Ruby was not in the move to talk, but with the friendly smile that the young lady cop had given to her, Ruby just can not play cold.

The young lady cop: Hi! Are you Ruby Lin, just come to the station!

Ruby: Yes! And you are? *Looking wonderingly*

The young lady cop: I’m Theresa Lee, I’m going to be your partner, so shall we get to know each other from now.

Ruby: Oh, you’re my partner! *Ruby turned happy inside, atleast her partner was not any of those old picky cops* Nice to meet you, this is so great!

Theresa: Yeah!…I see you all changed, we should go and report with Sir Jon, he’s waiting for us!

Ruby: Okay!

Then the girl happily walked out of the changing room with each other, already they found so many things to talk about.

At the Royal detective station, the four from Little Flowers Squad were called in Mr Cao office.

Mr Cao: Ladies! I known you just lost one member, but I will hope you could still continue working gracefully as you had been, if necessary I will replay a new member for you.

Vicki: *whispered to Jolin* We don’t need a new member, we only wanted to get our buddy back.

Ada: Vicki!!..Shrrr

Mr Cao: *Over heard Vicki sentence, as he stood up and stepped forward in front of the girls* I know you all must be blaming me, but I always had reason for my action. I can transfer anybody away anytime, when I felt they are not suit with the job. But I can bring back people anytime, as long as they had improved.

The four girls looked up at him in surprised, now they all understand why Ruby was transferred and it doesn’t mean that she will never come back to join them again.

Maggie: We understand Sir!

Jolin: Sorry Sir, we misjudged you before!

Mr Cao looked at Vicki and saw her apologized by putting her head down.

Mr Cao: Okay ladies! Let get back to the main point. I got a new mission for you guys, or maybe one of you. Even known due to some technical problem, you failed in capturing “the Python”. But Sum had been a very good co-operative with us. I received some news from the inside sources, that “Python” had shipped to Macau, reporting back to his big nest. I need one of you to come to Macau for a few days and track down that “Python” for me.

Vicki: Didn’t you just say that there are inside sources, so why don’t they catch him?

Mr Cao: Vicki, our inside sources are very limited, plus they got more job to do then to followed that ‘Python”. But because “Python” was involved in drugs dealing at our place, we need to catch him, not the Macau polices either.

Ada: So you just want one of us to go Sir?

Mr Cao: Before I was thinking of two, but since you are short in number, I think one can handle! *He rolled his eyes around the girls, and stopped at Vicki*

Maggie: Have you got in mind who to go Sir?

Mr Cao: Well, Maggie you still dealing with Sum, Ada you need to take over Maggie place. So it left with Jolin and Vicki.

Jolin and Vicki turned to look at each other, at one was not very keen but the other one was waiting for it to be her as she always wanted more action and this could be her great chance.

The guys were just finished their long working day, as they walked together to the carpark to pick up their babies, the three motorbikes.

Alec: Hey guys! Let’s go out for dinner now! My share!

Daniel: Oh Wow! Who’s the big man today!

Alec: Yep, not only I’m big, I’m very happy too.

Jimmy: What got in to you! You couldn’t stop singing since our last report.

Alec: Because, I’m going on vacation really soon.

Daniel: VACATION? Who’s let you!

Alec: The manager!!

Jimmy: Hey, that’s not fair, why don’t we get one. Too!

Alec: Cause you guys are not good enough!

Jimmy and Daniel turned to make a face at Alec, and drove off, leaving him behind

At the night market, the three guys were enjoying their dinner while the conversation was picked up.

Daniel: For how long?

Alec: Two weeks!

Alec: Macau!

Alec: I did some searching last week, and found my orphan’s house old record in a history book at the library.

Daniel: Are you still on that subject!

Alec: Hey, if you know your parents are still alive, but you never get a chance to see them, would you be wanting to look for them as well.

Jimmy: So your parents are alive!

Alec: Yes! I tracked down the old principal, luckily he still kept all the files, and he even gave me their address. I known they lived in Macau, so I’m going to see them.

Alec: Sure would you think that manager really going to give me a vacation for two weeks!

The three guys looked at each other and together they shook their head. “Nahhh”

Alec: Get lost pal! *He led over and gave Jimmy a punched on the shoulder, as Jimmy rolled down from the sofa* If I ever get together with that girl, I will be the dumbest person in the world.

Daniel: Wow, so determined.

Jimmy: Hey! It’s nearly midnight, careful your promise going to come true.

Alec once again led over another punch on Jimmy as he fell down to the ground.

Chapter 23

Mr Cao: Vicki tries to be careful. Don’t show your identity to anyone or it will put you in great danger, we arranged a place for you to stay, and everything, make sure you’ll get back in contact with the girl every night, so we can keep tracks on what you’re been doing.!

Vicki: Yes Sir, I understand, and will try to do my best.

Later that, Jolin took the car, and drop Vicki off at the prier going by ship to Macau.

Alec had board on the ship early, as he too excited to look for his family. Vicki came in later, with her single big backpack but she sat above Alec on level, so during the going trip, they never see each other yet.

It was not long until they both reached Macau. Like all other passengers they slowly make their way out. Alec got of first, but Vicki was not far behind him. Yet they never see or recognize each other.

Suddenly on his walking way, an old lady bend down, saying her ankle was hurt. No one else bothered about her, accepted for Alec, as he stop to ask how the lady was.

Alec: Nai nai, are you alright? *He concernedly look at the lady who claiming she was in great pain*

The old lady: Yes, I think I twisted my ankle, it so hurt…*cried in dead pain*

Alec on seeing the bad condition, which the lady was in, quickly dropped his bag beside him to attend to the lady.

By now Vicki was still walking at the back, as she approached nearer.

Vicki: *Looking at a young man helping an old lady on the step way* Um..A mother and son, they must be in trouble, should I go and help.

At the thought of that she was about moved forward the lady and the young man, until a teenager boy dashed passed her in a rush. Just a few quick second, Vicki witnessed, the young boy ran over to the young man and the lady. When the young man was not aware, the boy grabbed his bag, and ran away.

Alec: Way, hey, Come back, that my bag you thief *Got shock after his bag been stolen, as he stood up and about to chase after, he saw a figure of a young lady with back pack ran passed him and went after the thief*

Vicki: WAY, gets back here don’t let me catch you * Didn’t pay any tension to her surrounding, excepted for the far figure of the escaping thief*

Vicki managed to chase him in a short corner, put as she made the turn, she notice the thief had gone, no sign of it to be see.

Vicki: Damaged, what place is this, so many small streets, no wonder he so confidant in taking people bag in day light. *Then she turned around and head back, but as she walked out to the main street heading to the prier, she saw Alec running to her, puffing in short breaths.*

Alec: *Stopped at Vicki, tried to talk and catch back his breath* Aiyah…Where’s the thief gone with my bag? *Took another the look, he recognized Vicki was staring in the same shock at him.* YOU…Why you’re here!

Vicki: Yeah, Why are you here?

Alec: I’m on a vacation.

Vicki: Well I’m working.

Alec: My bag just been stolen.

Vicki: Well, I chased after the thief.

Alec: Great, so where is he?

Vicki: Gone, Escaped.

Alec: ESCAPED *He yelled at her, blaming* What sort of cops are you, can’t even chase a little thief!

Vicki: *Turning mad at him like usual* Hey, for you’re information, I didn’t come here to chase the thief for you. But I was kind enough to try and do it, did I hear anyone say thank you. And by the way, don’t the know the security out here is bad, why didn’t to hold your bag with you at the first place. *yelling back to him*

Alec: Hey I was try to help that poor old lady

Vicki: Who is she? Your mother.

Alec: NO…*Suddenly realized something* Oh My God, I left the injured lady at the prier, forgot all about her. *And then he quickly rush back to the prier exit way*

Vicki: *was left standing alone* Wait…Um..should I go with him? I’m on a mission. But if I don’t go, he’s going to get back home, and talk bad about me, I better watch his tail *After the thought, she turned and headed back to the prier, after Alec*

The prier by now was empty, with lesser people moving in and out, Alec got there, but he couldn’t find the lady.

Alec: Gosh, where did that old lady gone? *Looking around*

Vicki: May be she gone back home, with her son, to explore your bag. *Stepped in behind, as Alec turned around*

Alec: What do you mean by that?

Vicki: Well, it’s clear, that the lady and the thief are a team, she tried to put an act to distract attention from stupid people like you, so the thief will have a chance just to grab and run.

Alec: *On hearing she called him “Stupid” turned mad again* Hey I was just being kind, is that so bad.

Vicki: Well, at less you have to think before being too kind!

Alec: *Turned away, not to talk with her* Dammed! Now I lost everything, even the address! *He turned around and saw Vicki was leaving* Hey, you just go like that!

Vicki: *Talking to him without turning back to look at him* I’m going to the police station to report this, you can come to if you want, cause it your property which been stolen not mind. *And then she continued to walk faster, leaving Alec chasing after behind*

Alec: Wait, you can’t really be more careless then this, can you? *Yelled out from behind*

Vicki: Oh yes I can…with you I can be carefree as such as possible, but I’m doing in a favor here, so shut up. *She turned around and demanded at him, Alec grumpily looked at her in anger*

In Hong Kong,

Maggie and Louis just been walking with Sum together, as after work they took lunch together.

Louis: I believed, Sum is innocent!

Maggie: So do we, but you still have to prove it in Court. *By that, she saw Louis face turned down* Why, what’s wrong?

Louis: I’m not sure I can help him.

Maggie: Why not?

Louis: I’m very bad at court, I never won any major case at all.

Maggie: *Give a consolation smile* Don’t worry I think you will be fine.

Louis: You don’t understand, it is something with the court and me, I think the judges all hate me, I never success anything. *Frowned*

Maggie: They hate you for what, cause you’re dark! *She teased, as he let on a little smile* Come on Louis, as long as believed in yourself, you will be fine.

Louis: You do you think I could win.

Maggie: Well, as a detective, taking out the case, I really can’t say that to you. But as a friend. Yes..I think when you believed in yourself, you could do anything.

Louis: Thank you. *As they both gave a deep look to each other, but she blushed and turned away*

Back in Macau. At the local police station, Alec and Vicki were reporting back the incident.

Alec: Please sir you got to help me fine the bag, it was everything for me, my money, and my clothes, especially the address on a very important piece of paper.

Vicki stood beside, watching him in amusement for his fussy action, but she still feel a little sorry for him.

The policemen: Alright, we will try and help you! Just give us your address of where you’ll be staying in Macau so we can contact you? Mr..Mr?..

Vicki turned over to Alec, to the call of the Policeman, she found him, standing dead, staring in mid air.

Vicki: Alec.. *She poked her elbow as him, as Alec shaken then awake* They’re asking you, where will you be staying tell them.

Alec: I don’t know *he puzzled* The address is in the bag, and everything else of me..

Vicki: *sighed, then she gave it a thought, before turning back to the policemen* Sir, this is where I’ll be staying. You can contact me! *She gave out her address, the police took it down, and gave back to her*

Soon after that, Vicki and Alec leave the police station, as Alec walking in frustration, thinking what will happen to him. He doesn’t have money to get back to Hong Kong, or rent a place to stop over night, until Vicki tapped his shoulder.

Vicki: Way, where are you going now?

Alec: No where.

Vicki: *Paused back for another thought, and chase forward to him* Listen, incase you’re going bad talk about me, I’ll give you the money to rent a place. You can go to where I’m staying and get a room there.

Alec: *turned back, looking at her in surprised, but he tried not to show it.* What ever you say so

Vicki: Remember you owned me once! And I will calculate interest with you later. *She cheekily replied back to him, while continued walking ahead*

Alec: What! *Alec gasped and chased after her*

In Hong Kong, at the local police station, Ruby and Theresa just finished their shift for the day, both were changing. Theresa finished after, as she walked out to find Ruby, was ready to go.

Theresa: Ruby? What’s the rush today, you usually don’t take that quick to change *teased*

Ruby: *smiled in replied* I got a date with my boyfriend.

Theresa: Really? *Excited for Ruby* So any big plan!

Ruby: No nothing big, just dinner, movie. But the main thing is we spend time together!

Theresa: Wow! Sounded like some one pretty much in love *Ruby blushed* So who is the lucky guy?

Ruby: His name is Jimmy. We lived at the same building. He’s picking me up today! Want to meet him?

Theresa: *shook her head, as she checked herself in the mirror* No thanks, I won’t bother you.

Ruby: Yeah, you properly had to own date came to pick you up, right! *Theresa looked away shyly* Okay then, I’ll leave you. See You later..

Theresa: Bye Ruby! Have fun. *She smiled thinking back about Ruby’s words. Surely she also had a date with a long-term boyfriend as well*

In Macau, at the Motel, where Vicki hired her room. They were at the reception desk, asking a room for Alec.

Vicki: WHAT? *She slapped her hand on the table* There is no more empty room?

Alec: Are you kidding, not a single one left? *Same shocking expression, disbelieved*

The receptionist: Yes I’m sorry, all the room here been booked very early, cause it near the Casino, so there are a lots of people staying over night. I can reassure you can never get any room in Macau at this hours (late evening)

Alec: Oh My God! This is just not my lucky day!

The receptionist: But you got one room hired already, I think there won’t be problem with you?

Vicki and Alec looked at each other in surprised, while the receptionist looked at them with a funny eye.

Vicki: Oh, no..Me and him..no.Not what you’re thinking!

Alec: Yeah, me and her, no, not that…*shook his head repeatedly*

Receptionist: Well, I’m sorry! I can’t help you more.

Alec: Any other Motel around here.

Receptionist: But I’m sure you will get the same reply.

Alec frowned, for a moment later he turned over to Vicki with a little begging eye.

Vicki: What! *She pretended not to understand what he was doing*

Alec: Please, at least, I’ll pay you the rent, double!

Vicki: Alright! Pay me now *Put out her hand*

Alec: Um..When we get back to Hong Kong.

Vicki looked away, as Alec quickly continued on.

Alec: Well I can sign a dept money contract with you, for insured.

Her face brightened, as she looked over to him, with a mischievous smile.

Chapter 24

Vicki: Wow *Amazed then went over to the sofa and put down her backpack*

Alec walked in later.

Alec: What? *he was shocked, looking at the all in one room. The kitchen was on the left, with the dining room with a single sofa was in the middle, and the bedroom with a single bed was next door. There were no walked separating, accepted for the tiny bathroom, at one side of the bedroom* How would I suppose to stay in here *he frowned out, as Vicki cheekily turned around*

Vicki: easy, there you can stay there *She stood up with her bag, showing back to Alec at the sofa she just rested on* And I will take the bed ofcouse *she grabbed her bag, and carried it to the bed up the single step*

Alec evilly looked behind Vicki, blaming God for putting him in such a critical situation. He pulled his himself to the sofa, and dropped his body down tiredly, suddenly he felt papers hitting on his head.

Alec: What? *he jumped up, annoyingly looking at Vicki who was holding on her hand, a small stack of money.*

Vicki: Don¡¦t ever yell at me, do you understand? *She groaned back at him, at those moments, she was the boss* Here is your money *Alec put his hand out about to grab at it, as in quick action Vicki pulled back her hand* Not so easy.. there *she put down on the mini table near by a piece of blank paper, and a pen.

Alec: What is that for? *He asked looking at the paper*

Vicki: That¡¦s your contract, don¡¦t you remember?

Alec: *Pout to himself, as he sat up closer to the table, and began to write, when*

Vicki: Wait, wait, what are you doing?

Alec: You told me to write the contract!

Vicki: Duh? But as I told you to!

Alec: *trying to control his anger, he knew his life now is in her hand* Then say it quickly *he crumbled back*

Vicki: *Smiled sheepishly* Alright, now listen and write ¡¥Date, and time¡¦.

Alec: Why such details?

Vicki: So that I can sue you, if you deny it!

Alec: So do you need the place?

Vicki: Not necessary, it¡¦s best when no one know that we¡¦re sharing the one place. Okay continue on, now write ¡¥I Alec Su had owned the kind hearted Vicki Zhao, $100 and promised to repaid her double when we get back to Hong Kong.¡¦ Done? *Looking down to him* Then sign your name please.

Alec: *grumpily tried to control himself, and put down every words.*

Vicki: Okay! Thank you! *Bent down and pick up the paper from him, and put back the money on the table* I¡¦m going to go out for awhile, and you better look after the place, and get yourself what ever you need. If you need more money, call me, and write down here. Okay! Bye. Nice rest! *She waved at him a good-bye, and disappeared when the door closed*

Alec: *dropped himself on the sofa* Oh God, what did I done wrong? Why you have to punish me like this! *He frowned*

Daniel brought out the drink to Jolin, as he took a sit on the same sofa next to her.

Jolin: *Received the drink* Thanks¡KSo Jimmy out tonight?

Daniel: Yeah, I kicked him out *turning over to her with an eager look* I want us to have a night out, inside!! *He led over to give her a kiss*

Jolin: Huh¡K! How mean you are! *She giggled, and received the soft kiss from him by her lips.*

Daniel: *Broke out from the kiss, and relaxed himself more on the seat* So how the rest, down there?

Jolin: Oh, everyone is fine, Ada is more then happy with Nicky, Maggie is busy with the Sum case. Ruby doing pretty well in the local station. Except for Vicki, who out on a mission.

Daniel: Oh, what mission?

Jolin: *smiled at him cautiously* Daniel, you know I¡¦m not support to tell you that.

Daniel: I was just asking as a friend, I¡¦m not the one who writes about social life, Alec is!

Jolin: *realizing* Oh, speaking of Alec, where is he lately? Haven¡¦t seen much of him.

Daniel: Oh, he just went on the vacation since this morning?

Jolin: *Surprised* Oh, and where did he off to.?

Daniel: Macau!

Jolin: *Almost choked on her drink* MACAU?

Vicki clicked off on her mobile and checked herself for the last time in the mirror. She wore a big baggy Jean, with a big shirt cover on top, her short hair, were gel to the back, tucked neatly under her basketball cap. From a far distance or to people who never know her. They would easily mistake for her as a male.

Alec was watching the late night news, after a big disappointment on no news about if missing stuffs. Suddenly the bathroom¡¦s door unlocked. As Alec turned surprisingly stun looking at Vicki walking out.

Alec: My god mister, I think you went in the wrong room. *He joked*

Vicki: Hah! *Smiled sheepishly* Even you mistaken! That¡¦s good! *Went over to the bed and picked up her small bag.

Alec: Yeah! *Stood up and walk closer to her* And I think you actually look better this way, thinking of getting the change as permanent!? *He teased, as Vicki picked up the pillow and threw hard at him, Alec quickly ducked and escaped from the hit*

Ignoring him, she walked quickly to the door.

Alec: *yelled out behind her* Where are you going?

Vicki: Why should I let you know!

Alec: Atleast you have to tell me so I can lock the door later or wait for you!

Vicki: This is a motel, not private house. So don¡¦t have to do anything! Just be good¡K*With that she walked out and slammed the door in*

Alec: What is she up to? With her occupation, she can¡¦t go on a vacation like me, must be on the mission, or investigation or something! *Suddenly his face brightened, as he clicked his finger* That¡¦s it, I can follow her, and see if I can pick up any information for my section! *As he about to leave, he paused* Wait I haven¡¦t got any equipment with me. Never mind, I just have to see what she been up to. *So quickly he picked up the jacket and went straight to the door.*

Vicki had been wondering around the Casino game room or almost an hour. She found the Oak room just 15 minutes before. But at the moment there was no one in it, so she decided to hang around for awhile. Just then, Vicki quickly hidden herself behind a tree, as there were a group of men started to enter in the Oak room. She recognized, one of them was Python.

¡§Ah hah! Atleast I got my target. Better get closer to see what they are put up!¡¨ Vicki thought to herself. As she then started to move more closer to the door of the room. Suddenly four big guys came over and pulled her back.

1st guy: Way! Where are you going Mister! *One of the other three was grabbing on Vicki shirt*

Vicki: *pretend to speak in a deep male voice* Aiyah, big brothers, I was just taking a walk.

2nd guy: You do not look like a gambler in here, what are you doing here?

3rd guy: Where is your coins if you¡¦re going to play!

Vicki: *started to puzzle, and blamed herself for not exchange any money before¡¨ Aiyah, big brothers, I¡¦m not playing, I was just¡Kjust¡KOh, I was just looking for someone.

2nd guy: Whose then? *As he came closer to her, expressing his disbelieved*

By then a number of people had gathered around to see what was the hassle about. One of them standing behind was Alec.

Vicki turned her eyes side to side in fury, looking for the right excuse, but suddenly she stopped at the moment seeing Alec was there.

On noticed he had been spotted, Alec quickly turned to walk away, so he could not get in problem with her, but it was too late.

Vicki: Little brother *She yelled out, as the four guys, turned to the crow and saw a person was walking away. Vicki together broke out of the grab and run over to catch back Alec*

Vicki: *Grabbed on Alec shirt, as he forced to stop* Aiyah, little brother, why did you came here, mother is looking for you at home! *She gave him a little wink, as Alec turned in confused. But at that moment, he can¡¦t say anything, when the four guys already followed behind her.* Big brothers *She turned back to the four big guys* See this is my little brother, he¡¦s very naughty, always snick out of the house, steal money to come here for gambling. So my family asked me to come and get him.

4th guy: He¡¦s your younger brother? How come he looked bigger then you! *In wondered, the same as the other three*

Vicki: *Grabbed tied on Alec shirt and pulled in closer* Aiyah, you see kids these days, get nutrition, where I didn¡¦t.

1st guy: Is he your big brother? *Asked out to Alec, as Vicki even tighten her grab on him.*

Confusingly, Alec nodded his head, Vicki sighed a big relief inside.

3rd guy: Okay then, you should get your brother home! *Pointing for Vicki to go*

She quickly said thanks, and good bye, and pulled on Alec ear, as he painfully turned and followed her, while the other guy gave a great laugh.

She released him, once they got a distance away from the game room, and no one else had been followed them.

Alec: Aiyo! What did you pull my ear for. Oh my god, you almost rib it off. I rescue you, so you must be thankful to me, instead you turn me to your little brother, how cunning is that! Is this your way to repay me. *He stopped talking, when noticed that she hasn¡¦t say anything in reply. As he turned around, she was only paying attention, to her big advertised poster on the wall. Alec then walked back to have a look for himself*

¡§Gala Dance ball¡¨ He read out in his head from the poster that Vicki was reading.

Chapter 25

Vicki: Maggie, I’m sure that guy was Python, it was exactly like what they shown in the record book!

Maggie: Great, so why don’t you go to the ball. Tonight then!

Vicki: *amazed* Can I? *She was hoping that she could go to the gala*

Maggie: Sure! But…

Vicki: But? Why but? *Frowned*

Maggie: Yes! But you better change your identity, don’t let they suspicious you, coming in for two nights in a row..

Vicki: Well, that easy, I come in as a myself you know.. A girl!

Maggie: Well *wasn’t sure* It’s a formal night Vicki! And girls don’t go to formal night by themselves, unless they had a date!

Vicki: What a date? *Shocked* where the hell can I go to get a date…*her voice suddenly fainted out, as in the moment she thought of something, so slowly she moved toward to door, and quietly peaked out from the bathroom to the sofa where Alec was lying peacefully watching TV*

Maggie: Hello! Vicki…Why suddenly silent.!

Vicki: *snapped back to the phone* Opps..sorry, anyway…The date thing, don’t worry I’ll fix it..Okay!

After she hanging up the phone, Vicki slowly walked out to the sofa, smiling sheepishly at him.

Alec: *noticed her strange look with caution* Wait…What are you up to!

Vicki: I got a deal for you! *Sitting down on the mini table opposite with him*

Alec: What deal? *Asked in concerned*

Vicki: You’ll come to the gala tonight with me, and I’ll paid you for it!

Alec: Uhh, really? How much? *Showing interested*

Vicki: $100!

Alec: Are you kidding me? I’m only worth $100. *Jumped at it with objection*

Vicki: Well do you want the truth, cause I actually think you’re less then that *fought back*

Alec: $500.

Vicki: Who do you think you are Ricky Martin? $150!

Alec: A garbage collector could cost more than that! $300.

Vicki: Final prince $200. If you don’t take it, I’ll go and find a garbage collector! *With that she winningly walked away, as a few second later, Alec quickly called out from the back*

Alec: Alright I’ll take it!..But, with another condition. *Looking mischievously at her*

Vicki: What? *eyes searching at him furiously*

Alec: Let me make a phone call Hong Kong!

Vicki: Okay! *She was about to stand up and hand over the mobile to him, until, a sudden caution thought snapped him, she pushed back Alec to his sofa* I’m warning you, don’t let out a word that you and me are staying in one room! Or else I will triple your interest money! *She put out the warning in a harsh tone, while pressing him down to the sofa with her hand holding on the phone at his throat.*

Alec: *gathered all his strength, and finally pushed her away* What are you doing? Want to murder me, remember you have to use me later!

Vicki: And remember you owned me money as well!

Alec: Alright! Don’t need to be that hard on me! Ofcouse I will not tell any one about us, do you think it a pleasure for me?? I want to hide it from everyone as well!

Vicki: *turned around with satisfaction* Okay! Then take this and go hire a formal suite for yourself, remember to hire, I don’t pay for the money! *Then she reluctantly turned back to her bed, in puzzle* Gosh, I got to look for something to wear at well. But how do I know what to get…* (Tick Tick Tick.. the mind is thinking)

Ruby and Theresa was on the shift as they took the walk around, checking at the safety of everyone.

Both girl shared in a slight laughed, at suddenly their radio got alert, as there were a bank robbery happening in a near by bank. So as quickly both of them rushed to the scene.

The evening getting darker, as Alec was already out, finding a suit, while Vicki just realized that Jolin and Ruby had secretly prepared a formal dress for her with all the necessary things that needed.

Vicki was in the bathroom, getting ready, while listening to the guidance from the master Jolin and Ruby.

Vicki: I can’t believe you guy hidden from me to put this piece of material in my bag.

Ruby: Vic! It’s not a piece of material, It’s a formal dress.

Vicki: Are you out of your mind, it’s look no lesser than a piece of very long thin fabric, with string attached to it.

Jolin: It’s a dress, now put it on, you fool!

Vicki: How can I put it on, there is no buttons or zip.!

Jolin: Gosh! You just wear it on as a T-shirt!

Vicki: Oh, really, But it’s a dress.

Jolin, and Ruby: JUST PUT IT ON.

Ruby: Remember, the string is at the back.

Vicki: Thanks for telling! *Then she put the phone down, and tried to find away to get herself in the dress* Gosh, I finally made it! Since when did they start making formal dress this way!

Jolin: It’s called the updated fashion.!!

Vicki: I must have fallen behind the fashion season, a lot huh?

Ruby: Sure. Way way, behind.. *giggled*

Vicki: Okay, the dress is in.!

Jolin: Put the hair on.

Vicki: No I’m not going to attach that thing to my hair.

Ruby: You wanted to look different.

Vicki: But…

Jolin and Ruby: PUT IT ON.

Vicki: Alright, I will! *She reluctantly, attached the curly hair extension, to covered out her short length hair* “Gosh I looked like a witch” *she thought, but this was the only way to hide her true look.*

Ruby: Vicki, you’re done?

Vicki: Yeap, nearly…

Jolin: Hey Vic. I almost forgot, Our Ruby, did something every braved today.

Vicki: Oh? Really? Tell me something I don’t know.

Jolin: Well she rescued a lady and a boy, from a bank robbery..

Ruby: Shut up Jo. I was doing it with Theresa at well!

Vicki: Who’s Theresa!

Jolin: Her new partner, don’t you remember?

With that she playfully pull out the blanket, to dump on his body, but Alec quickly grabbed on the over end, they struggle at both end of the blanket for a while, trying to get the other to go down first. At the minute of falling, Alec was intend to catch her back, as he put out his arm, to grab hold on her waist. But with the stronger force, Alec also went down. Their eyes, one more time attached, but this time it was much, much closer. It was the first time, they got so near with each other, as they almost can hear the heart beat from the other side, but it was their own heart that beat up more rapidly, and louder.

In that intimated scene, sensing something could grow out. But Vicki was not very sure, as she collected herself, and pulled a leg up, pushing to him for a great kick.

Alec: Aiyo!…*He rolled stumbling down to the floor, as Vicki quickly pulled herself up, and hastily straighten out her dress, while Alec was trying to recover from the sudden kick*

Vicki: *Stepped over, and grabbed Alec up on his feet, she changed her pace, and give out another warning to him.* Never, ever do that to me again.

And then, she walked out to the door, grabbing at her handbag beside the TV on her way out. Chapter 26

Vicki and Alec at the Casino, together by Taxi, as they approached to the entrance of the Gala room. Alec suddenly grabbed on Vicki’s hand, as she turned and looked at him in starlet.

Vicki: Wah! What are you doing? *She scolded at him, pointing her eyes on his hand*

“I organized the ticket for you Python, to go back in Hong Kong after tomorrow!”

Vicki was still fully interested on the story, but suddenly she felt someone pulled on her arm. Turning backward, no time to react she already felt his force pulling her back strongly.

Alec: There people coming! *He whispered back to her, as his eyes pointing to the figures approaching to them from the left*

Suddenly the door from the Oak room from their right, suddenly twist, making a sound with it.

Vicki: *turned back to the other direction, alerting of the room. She can’t let them see her. So this time, she turned outside, and pushed Alec back against the wall, knowing of no other thing to do, so exactly how he did to her before, Vicki held tight to Alec neckline, and squeaked in for another sudden kiss*

By then, from their back, Python and the other guys from the Oak Room walked out, despairing the young couple expressing their love to each other, they walked down to the ballroom.

But Vicki and Alec were never aware that they had gone pass the danger zone, until a security guard came and knocked on their shoulder.

Security guards: Hey kids! You better broke out now, and go back downstairs!

Alec and Vicky, both cheeks were brightly red as they relaxed their arms on each other.

“Sorry they both said!” And ran straight down stair. There were nothing left, so they made their way home. During the trip back home, there was not a word spoken from either of them.

Chapter 27

Jolin: Hey! Vick, how was the gala?

Vicki:*sitting on her bed* yeah, it’s okay!..

Ruby: Any cute guys?

Jolin: Did you dance with your partner!

Ruby and Jolin was looking after Mossy for Danial and Jimmy, as the guys got a night shift to do, so they brought Mossy down stair and let it play with Pussy. The cat and mouse, suddenly started a chased around the sofa, as Ruby had to try and collect them back.

Judge’s decision: Sum was pleased guilty for keeping a large number of drugs! But due to his willingness to consent, base on the first attempt. I sent you 3 years on good behaviour bond and $10,000 fine! Court dismisses!

Both of them for the first time sat down and shared a meal together.

Alec sat still watching on her gently action, suddenly in the shock moment their eyes met again, as the two immediately felt uncomfortable. Vicki quickly returned back to her seat, pretending to look down as she was cleaning her finger. Alec on the other hand quickly pick up the bowl to cover his blushing face. The room felt in quiet, suddenly both of them jerked up when Vicki Mobile started to ring. “Thank god!” She sighed for giving her something to do, as Vicki quickly ran over and grabbed at her mobile beside the TV.

But a moment later, she called out his name while trying not to look at him.

Vicki: It’s your phone!

Alec: Oh! *He replied in surprised, and stood up, walking side way to the phone so his back could be facing with her* Thank you! *He received the phone, and turned his face to the wall, as Vicki quickly walked back to the table*

Suddenly then, Alec jumped out with joyfully as he put down the phone and chased to the table, where Vicki was watching strangely at his action.

Alec: Vicki! They found my bag!

Vicki: That great!

Alec: Yeah!

Vicki: So what are you waiting for! Let’s go and pick up your bag.

With that both of them jumped up, forgetting about the awkward moment before, the two rushed each other and ran straight to the police station.

The next morning on the boat coming back from Macau to Hong Kong.

Alec had received his stolen stuffs, excepted for the monies, and the address of his family that he wanted to look for. So seeing no point to stay back, he caught the same boat and come back to Hong Kong with Vicki.

After claiming the peace! Alec had a chance to tell Vicki about his situation as an orphan child, and how he just found out the address that his birth parents might still be in Macau, that’s why he came to look for then, but unfortunately, his bag got stolen the moment he stepped out from the prier. Vicki showed a lot of sympathy.

Vicki: Sorry Alec, well at least you can come back and check up the address again!

Alec: Yeah, I should be able to, but then I have to come back here, wondering if it’s to late?

Vicki: Don’t worry, if fate said that you will meet your parent, so no matter how long you take, you will find them at the end.

Alec: Thanks, Vicki! *He started to look up at her, as they two suddenly realised that they were sitting very close together, as Vicki quickly shifted her seat toward to end*

Vicki: Umh, Alec! You remember, our plans okay!

Alec: Huh? Oh yes, the plan, sure. You will go home first, and I will go after, so they don’t see us together on the same boat.

Vicki: And they will not know that we saw each other in Macau!

Alec: Yes! And that we shared the same room.

Vicki: And you were my date at the gala ball.

*Suddenly the two paused, thinking only a week pasted, but they had done an awful lots of things together*

Alec &Vicki: *Speaking at once* But no one going to find out about it. Nothing of it!

Finally the boat docked, as Alec and Vicki were still very relax, since no one have volunteer to pick them up, so they were free to go home alone.

Alec waved a taxi, as it stopped, he stepped aside, leaving it for Vicki.

Alec: You go first!

Vicki: No why don’t you go first!

Alec: Don’t worry I can wait, you go first!

Vicki: No you first!

The taxi driver: Wah I don’t care who first or second, is any of you going to go on, that the mains point.

Alec: See you go first, I will get the next one.

Vicki: Thanks! *She smiled softly, and proceeded inside the car* I’ll see you later!

Alec: Yeah, bye!

She got in the car began to move, as Alec stood back and waved after her. Suddenly, the weather started to change, as clouds gathered and in no time, it started to rain heavily. Alec quickly had to run inside, finding a shelter to stand.

Vicki noticed the pouring heavy rain and then strangely, she began worried.

Vicki: Wah, Taxi, can you turn back?

Taxi: Miss, I thought you were going to ..

Vicki: Don’t worry just turned back!

Taxi: Okay!

As the taxi stopped at where he picked her up before, Vicki quickly paid the fee and got out of the car. It’s an unexplained feeling in her, that she suddenly wanted to see him. She wondered if he already caught a Taxi, if not under this pouring rain, where could he be.

Looking from side to side, she still can not see him. At the same moment, she began to worry, unnoticed that, herself was standing outside the rain as well. She carried her backpack, and walked around the whole prier, checking inside to out. When she couldn’t find him, and had thought that he may already got a taxi, then she relaxed, atleast he doesn’t have to stand under the rain like that. So she then waved for another the taxi and went home. On the way home, a thought of realization suddenly came to Vicki.

“How come I suddenly worry for that four eyes professional!” She wondered, something that haven’t been answered yet!

Chapter 29

Vicki got home by the late afternoon, as the house was then empty. Everyone else were at work. She relaxed herself and enjoined in the resting moment, since from tomorrow she had to come back in the office again.

Lying on the big sofa in the living room, after a quick shower, and changed to her dry clothes. Vicki mind was kept passing back and ford of what had happened during the past week in Macau. She suddenly grinned with a smile, but then she face began to tend on a thought.

“I wondered had he back home yet, did he get wet out the rain!?” Her eyes slowly shifted upward looking at the ceiling, just then, she gave her head a big shake. “What are you thinking Vicki! You’re not support to think about him! Who is he to you? So stop, I demand you to stop right now, can you hear me, brain?” But it was not her brain that does the thinking, it was her heart.

Suddenly, she heard “MMEOW” Vicki immediately sat up, looking out the balcony where the noise was coming from.

Vicki: *Stood up and walked outside to pick up Pussy at the balcony* There you are, Pussy! Where have you been, I was looking for you? Did you miss me? *She picked up the cat in her arms, and carrying it back inside, while patting gently on its fur.*

The door then opened. And Ruby walked in with Jimmy.

Ruby: *Surprised* Hah, Vicki, you’re back! *She ran over and gave Vicki a hug* So glad to see you!

Vicki: Me too! Did you miss me?

Ruby: Yes yes, very much.

Jimmy: *Putting himself into the picture* Hey Vicki, how are you?

Vicki: *Broke out from her hug with Ruby, and put Pussy back on the ground* Hi, Jimmy, I’m very good. How are you?

Jimmy: Not bad at all! *Glancing cheekily to Ruby* So Vicki, you just came back from Macau!

Vicki: Yeap!

Jimmy: Did you see Alec?

Vicki: Um…*bite on her lower lip, but quickly denied* No, I haven’t. Ruby told me that he was over there.

Ruby: *Walked over to Jimmy* Yes, Jimmy! Has Alec come back yet? *Vicki inwardly was thanking Ruby for that question, since she was wanting to find out whether Alec got home safely yet!*

Jimmy: I don’t think so, his break on for two weeks. Speaking of home, I better get back now. See ya Vicki. Bye Sweetie! *Pulling Ruby in for a good bye kiss* *Vicki quickly turned her face away, pretending she didn’t see anything.*

Ruby slowly walked Jimmy out the door, not forgetting to blow him the last kiss. Then she turned in side dancing a little in her steps.

Vicki: Wow, Pussy did you see the power of l..o..v..e. *Vicki lay back on the couch, and picked up Pussy then put on her laps. Pretending she was speaking to the cat, instead she glanced her cheeky eyes to Ruby.*

Ruby: *Walked over the sofa, picked up the cushion and threw it on top of Vicki face* Shut up, you just back home, so don’t create war *Then she smiled softly and ran straight to her room, blushing*

Vicki: *Turned back to her cat* Hey, is people in love always have to be that crazy! *But Pussy was not looking at her, his eyes fixed to the balcony window* Wah, Pussy, I’m talking to you, why are you keep looking at the window!

In the evening, at the guy’s place.

Daniel just got home from his late shift, as unexpected just similar to Jimmy, he got a little shock on seeing Alec back too early.

The guys settled down together to listen on Alec trip to Macau. How he been robbed at the first stepped on the ground. How it took the police a week to find half of his missed things back. That he lost the address of his natural family, and his trip to Macau had to cut short.

Jimmy and Daniel were attacking Alec of more information, when Alec had to run out of the sofa for some space.

Alec: Wait, aren’t you two supposed to be booked already?

Jimmy: Rushed over to where Alec was* Well, I was just asking for you?
Daniel: Single guy with lonely girl together? Can create a scene, right Jimbo!

Jimmy: Yeap.

Alec: Shut up! None of your business! *Then he sneezed once!*

Daniel: We only concerning for you?

Alec: No thanks. *Sneezed twice!*

Jimmy: Looked at you, going out for one week, and now you’re bring virus home, Don’t get that cold of you reach to me! *Started to walk away!*

Alec: Thanks pal! What’s a nice friend you are! *Sneezed one more time, again*

Daniel: Are you really having a cold, or is it some one mentioning you?

Jimmy: Who would be mentioning him?

Alec: *lead over and grabbed the tissue box on the table, and dreamily sat back* “Could she be thinking of me!”

By the time Alec snapped out of his dreaming stage, then Jimmy was already going in for the shower, while Daniel got out the balcony, to talk with his girlfriend, Jolin downstairs. Alec as left alone with Mossy in the living room. While he was playing with his little mouse, the phone rang, unintentionally Alec picked up the phone.

Alec: Hello?

The other line: *yelled out in excitement* ALEC! Is it really you?

Alec: *immediately put the phone away, regretting for picking it up* No…*Uncertainly answered, hoping the other line could believe him*

The other line: Come on Alec, I know it you, are you back already?

Alec: *Sighed with full regretted* Yes, hi Joey, Sorry I didn’t recognize you before! *Just then he had another sneeze!*

Joey: Alec, are you sick?

Alec: No.

Joey: You are? I’ll bring medicine to you?

Alec: No.

Joey: I’ll cook soup for you?
Alec: No.

Joey: But, But I want to do something for you?

Alec: No, thanks, I’m fine. Really

Later in the night, at the restaurant.

Maggie and Louis started off with a cheer on their first glass.

Maggie: Congratulation! Lawyer Koo.

Louis: Thank you! If it not for you, I won’t have a chance like today.

Maggie: I’m not involved, it all depends on your ability.

Louis: Then congrats you on the capture of Python.

Maggie: Thank you! It our lucky stars today isn’t it?

Both of us shared a few laughs and continue on with the dinner.

After dinner, Louis and Maggie both decided to take a walk to the prier, where had met on night. Together in the calming surrounding, they shared a few secret of their life.

Louis: This is where I first met my girlfriend. We were just like this walking around and bumped into each other.

Maggie: *Laughed* It’s funny how you put it as bumping into each other!

Louis: You think so! *He smiled with her*

Maggie: Yes!…

Louis: *facing out the water* When Lilly pasted away, I truly thought, my life could finish, but now I learned, life is much more then just love.

Maggie: True, Love is you critical. I once believed in it, but not anymore.?

Louis: *Looked on her, with shock* WHY?

Maggie: Because, I don’t think love is real!
Louis: What if someone can show you real love? Faithful love? *He asked on, looking at her with hopes.*

Maggie: *Turned her view from the water to faced back with the quiet streets* I don’t know about it, but I’m sure it will take a lot of challenge to convince me. And I doubt if anyone willing to go through it! *She gave a little fading laughed, and left Louis, standing back beside the water, while she started walking to the car*

Louis watched on with a little disappointment, but he was sure, sooner or later he will show her real love. The one that been blooming in his heart.

Chapter 30

Vicki: Aiyah, finally I have to get back to work!

Ada: You must be thanking for that one-week break!

Vicki: Hey, It’s not a break. I had to work too!

Maggie: Yes! We know and thanks to you, we caught Python.

Vicki: *gave a beaming smile* See I told you I was good!

Jolin: Well, but one thing that you did have a break from, so it now your turn to do it!

Vicki: What?

Jolin: *threw the car keys to Vicki* Driving!

The four girls spread out laughing while walking to their car. Suddenly Jolin looked up and saw Daniel was coming back to the Apartment.

Jolin: *Waved out her hand* Hey Daniel!

Ada, Maggie, Vicki: Hey!

Daniel: Hey ladies! Going to work!

Jolin: *walked over to him* Yes, and how about you, aren’t you suppose to be at work!

Daniel: Yes, about to, I just have to bring back these cold tablets!

Ada: Who’s the patient?

Daniel: Oh, not me! It’s Alec.

Vicki immediately took the caution, but she tried not to act it out.

Jolin: Alec’s back!

Daniel: Yeah, yesterday, but he caught a cold!

Maggie: Oh, poor Alec! Well wish him lucks for us. We have to go girls!

The four ladies quickly waved goodbye and settle back in their car. Vicki was the only one who lost a bit of concentration.

At the Royal Detective Station.

The four little flowers Squad were getting ready to report to Mr Cao’s office, when Leo flung in the door, he ran straight to where Vicki was.

Leo: Vicki! You’re back!

Jolin: There you go, at least someone showed the happy signed *turned over and whispered in Vicki’s ear* He kept on asking for ya! *Then she walked over to Maggie and Ada*

Vicki: *Forced for a smile* How are you?

Leo: I’m so glad you’re back, Vicki, I was just wondering, how about dinner tonight!

Vicki: *Shocked* Tonight? Oh…sorry we already had plan, right girls!

The other three looked on fury but soon they realised the intention and nodded.

Leo frowned in disappointment but before he could pop out another question, Ms Feng was knocking at the door.

Ms Feng: Ladies! The boss is waiting!

Vicki sighed for the rescue, at the same time, she quickly rushed out the door with the other.

On the way to the office, they saw Zoil Zhou grumpily exited from Mr Cao’s office. He doesn’t look happy, and deliberately ignore the ladies.

Vicki: Wow, someone not in the good mood.

Jolin: He got in quite a lot of problem lately. Bet ya! Just been busted by the Boss.

Vicki: Yeah, the snobby dog, need it!

*Both girls giggled together and continued on!*

Inside Mr Cao’s office.

Mr Cao: Ladies! You done well in capturing Python, and finish up the Sum’s case!

The four replied: Thank you sir!

Mr Cao: I hope that you can keep your working pace as good like this. I will have more bigger project for you.

The four replied: Thank you, Sir! We’ll try.

In the evening at the guy place.

Jimmy and Daniel was preparing the dinner, while Alec was in his room, suddenly the doorbell rang. Jimmy came to open the door.

Jolin: It’s have medicine herbs in it! Is it for some one sick.

Ruby: who is sick in us? Not Ada, not Maggie, not me!

Jolin: Not me, either.!

Vicki: It’s me, it’s me okay! Now get out of my kitchen or you will not have any dinner.

Alec: Hi! Jo..ey…! *He answered hesitantly, while ran over to stand behind Jimmy and Daniel, away from Joey’s grab.*

Joey: Why didn’t you come out early!

Alec: I didn’t know you were here! *Force a smile to her* Why didn’t you tell me that Joey is in! *He turned a blaming look on Jimmy and Daniel, while slapping on there arms, and softly whispered to their ears* “Who let her in?”

Daniel: *Whisper back to Alec* Jimmy!

*Alec glanced a sharp stare over, while the poor Jimmy quickly jumped up*

Jimmy: I didn’t know it was her! It’s your girl! You deal with it! *And together both Jimmy and Daniel stepped aside pushing Alec in the middle to the front*

Joey: *Pushed Jimmy to one side so she can stand beside Alec* Are you feeling better, sit down I cooked soup for you it’s suppose to be very good cure for cold!

Alec had no chance to reply when Joey just keep pulling him over and sat him down on the chair in the kitchen.

Vicki had just finishing for the dinner, but while the girls were having their meal she stood up, and carried the take away container outside.

Vicki: Outside! *She turned and open the door, but before she could step out*

Maggie: What for?

Vicki: Aiyah, stop asking me! I go out to take my medicine, okay, good bye! *She quickly walked out and closed the door*

Ruby: Why can’t she take medicine in here?

Jolin: Do you see something strange about Vicki?

Maggie: In what way?

Jolin: She’s lying!

The three girls gave a caution look at each other, but soon they return back to their meal.

Outside the door, Vicki was about to put her step on the stair to go up, suddenly she realised something.

Vicki: *Relief on hearing a girl voice, but as she turned around, she was not very keen on meeting with Joey* Hey!

Joey: Are you going out!

Vicki: No, I’m just going in!

Joey: *As the big mouth person she was, Joey ran down next to Vicki and began the conversation* You know what I just done!
Vicki: No! *About to walked inside*

Joey: I just took care of my boyfriend, he got a cold and I just brought the medicine to him. Am I a prefect girlfriend or what?

Vicki could feel a cold chill running through her spine, as she furiously, turned over to Joey.

Vicki: *Forcing for a smile* And who is the lucky guy?

Joey: You know the charming reporters but there?

Vicki: Which one? *Asking between her teeth*

Joey: the one with glass! Alec!

Vicki: *Almost gasped in shock, but she try to clam down and not say it out* “Stupid four eyes professional I should know you better!”

Joey: Are you alright! *Waving her hand at Vicki*

Vicki: Hah? Yes, I’m just have to go in now. Bye.! *Not wanting to face Joey anymore, she opened the door and stamped her way in*

Joey: Bye! *Waved a hand and happily skipped downstairs*

In the guys place, after Joey had left, Jimmy and Daniel, quickly walked over and start slapping on Alec.

Alec: Ouch! What was that for!

Jimmy: For you slapping me with no reason.

Daniel: For you bring that psycho home!

Alec: Wait I did not bring her home! And I slapped you for a reason, why did you let her in!

Jimmy: How can I know it her, by the way, he asked you to speak with her yesterday!

Alec: I didn’t! She rang up, and I picked up.

Daniel: Big mistake. And now you must be punish.

Alec: What!?

Jimmy: Take the rubbish down!

Alec: It’s not my night!

Daniel: We don’t care.

Alec: I’m not well, and you guys are ganging up on me!

Daniel: Oh are we?

Jimmy: Well, that good. Pick up the rubbish then, four eyes boy!

Alec was in the losing position, one can’t fight against two. But later he will thankful for that punishment.

Down in the girl place!

Everybody were finishing up their dinner, when they saw the door flung opened, and a grumpy Vicki stormed in, slapping the door from behind.

Jolin: *Was standing by the sink with Ruby, doing the washing* Wow, you’re back!

Ruby: Not in a very good mood!

Vicki: *Didn’t say anything, kept on her grumpy face, she walked over to the sink, pushed in between Ruby and Jolin, opened the medicine container, and started pouring it down the strain, but Ruby and Jolin quickly caught it back!*

Ruby: Wah what are you doing?

Jolin: Aren’t you suppose to take that medicine!

Vicki: Not anymore, it not worth it! *Tried to tip out the container again, when Ruby quickly lean over and grabbed away the container!*

Ruby: Then save it later, don’t waste it! It’s took a lot of time to make this!

Vicki: *Crumple her stepped away, as she kept walking around the kitchen in fury, Ruby and Jolin watched in confusion* I need something to do! Give me something to do, quick!

Jolin: You can take the rubbish out!

Vicki: Okay, good! *No waiting she dig out all the rubbish in the house, pushed them in two big bags, and quickly go down stairs with it*

Ruby: What’s up with her?

Jolin: I told you, something definitely going on that we don’t know!

Chapter 31

Vicki was still in her grumpy mood as she harshly straggled the big black rubbish bag behind her and started to make her way to the big bin, until she saw Alec was already there, putting out his rubbish.

Vicki: *paused back, and planning to turn inside, but then she changed her mind, but on a cold face, she continue to walk forward, ignoring him*

Alec: *Just finished his part, about to walked back upstairs, until he turned around, his eyes brighten to see Vicki* Vicki! *Amazed with a beaming smile*

Vicki: *Still ignored him, as she walked to the big and started throwing over the rubbish bag.*

Alec: I’m so glad to see you! How was your day?

Vicki: *Doesn’t bother to look at him, after fishing her job, she coldly turned and started walking back to the stair*

Alec: *Realised her unfriendly attitude, he quickly chased after* Vicki! What wrong?

Vicki: *She walked to the elevator, pushed in the button, and realised it not working, she stamped her feet on the ground and walked to the other side for the stair.*

Alec: *Still very confused, but he continued chasing her up the stair* I thought we made a deal in Macau, I thought we’re going to be friend.! *He was begging her to some answers*

Vicki: I changed my mind now and I don’t want to talk to you! *Finally answered, yet pushing him over to one side so she could continue to move up the stair*

Alec: But Why! ? *Still running after her up the stair*

Vicki: I don’t feel like it anymore, okey, bye.! *By that she reached to her door, after the last farewell, she quickly opened the door and walked in, slamming back the wooden wall at Alec, stopping him to come in*

Alec: *Gave a big confusing frown, standing outside the door in fury, but slowly he had to walk upstairs tiring*

Inside the girl apartment,

Ruby and Joey was out the balcony talking to Jimmy and Daniel, when they all heard a big “BANG”, turning over they saw Vicki standing at the door.

Jimmy: What was the bang? *Asked down*

Ruby: It’s Vicki, coming home!

Daniel: Does she always bang door like that?

Jolin: Not really, but something weird with her tonight, and we haven’t figure it out yet!

Ruby: Hey guys, we got to go now! I have to see what wrong with her!

Jimmy: Wait, wait, and what about tomorrow night?

Ruby: What’s about tomorrow night? *Looked over to Jolin, who had the same furious look*

Daniel: Hey, jolin, you forgot our date already!

Jimmy: Yes, we suppose to have our date tomorrow night!

Ruby & Jolin: OPPS (with realisation)…

Jolin: we remembered now, okey, see you tomorrow night.!

Daniel: Seven sharp okay!

Ruby: *Pushing Jolin inside* Okay!..

Both Ruby and Jolin gone inside, planning they could do some questioning on Vicki, but the moment they stepped in, at the same time Vicki stepped away to her room and closed the door. Ruby and Jolin looked on each other with disappointment.

Upstairs, in the boy’s place.

Jimmy and Daniel, broke free from their attachment to the balcony when seeing Alec entered the room in a very down expression.

Jimmy: *Walking over to Alec* Hey, we only tell you to take the rubbish out, not that harsh on you is it?

Daniel: Come on! You were find before! What happened to you down there?

Alec: I’m confused! Is women really that forgettable?

Daniel: *Big nodded in agreement* Oh yes.

Jimmy: Definitely, you should see Jolin and Ruby down there, they made a date with them just ten minutes ago!

Daniel: And they already forgot!

Alec: *Sighed in frown, and started walking into his room* Thanks, but you guys are not helping!

Daniel and Jimmy about to yell out for some more information, but they missed Alec!

The next day at the Royal detective’s Station

In Mr Cao’s office.

Mr Cao: Ladies, read those files in your hand, and I want you to take action and catching the Big A as soon as possible. Python had gave us a new lead, I want you to step by step capture every small branches, until you reach to the big one!

Maggie: Yes sir! But Big A does not live in Hong Kong!

Ada: *reading from the files* He’s originated from Macau, and coming over here on the job!

Mr Cao: Yes, that’s why I want you to got him capture, so he could lead us to the big nest in Macau! So read the files, and when everything clear, conduct your assignment!

Maggie, Ada and Jolin: YES SIR!

Mr Cao: *glancing over to Vicki, who showed no responses*

Jolin: *pulled on Vicki’s sleeve, helped she her to awake*

Vicki: *Snapped back* Yes sir!

Mr Cao glanced over a worry look to the member that he trust had now lost her concentration.

Chapter 32

By late in the evening, Ruby and Jolin were long gone before it turned seven. Ada also had a date as normal with her long-term boyfriend, Dr Wu. It left with Vicki and Maggie at home alone.

Maggie was coming in the kitchen when she saw Vicki was standing mindlessly outside the balcony, looking at no where.

Maggie: *Step out to the balcony, beside Vicky* Hey Vick, aren't you go out tonight?

Vicki: Huh? OH! No, I'm not like the other three, I'll stay home with you! *Just them her eyes spotted down below, a strange car was driving in the Apartment's parking area. Vicki watched for a moment, until the driver walked out from the seat* Maggie, is isn't that Lawyer Koo.

Maggie: *Shocked and looked down* Louis?

Vicki: *Teasing sense* When did Lawyer Koo become Louis?

Maggie: *Before she could defend herself, the home phone started to ring as Maggie, quickly ran in to pick up the phone for the escape.* Hello?

Louis: Maggie? Are you free now?

Maggie: Louis?

Vicki: Louis? *She tried to look down again, and saw Louis was standing by his car talking with his mobile phone, she gave a cheeky smile and turned over to Maggie*

Louis: Maggie? Are you free?

Maggie: Um.Why? Do you.

Louis: Do you like to go for dinner, I have a night free, plus I just won this case so.I want to celebrate with you, is it okay!

Maggie: *looking over Vicki in concern* Well.

Louis: Please, it's my birthday also.!

Maggie: In that case okay then!

Louis: Great, I'll come and pick you up in half an hour.

Maggie: Why half an hour? Aren't you already here?

Louis: Oh! You known! *First time he looked up, and immediately saw Vicki's hands waving at him, he felt a bit of silly embarrassment*

Maggie: Louis! Just come up now, and I'll be really quickly!

Louis: Okay!

They both hung up the phone, but as Maggie just turned over to go, she found Vicki staring strangely at her.

Vicki: Some one on the late date!?

Maggie: It's his birthday!

Vicki: Oh, and he's only inviting you to celebrate. It's more than obvious.

Maggie: Obvious, what?

Vicki: That some lawyer had a crush on some detective.

Maggie: Oh, stop talking silly, we're just friends.

Vicki: Yeh, it's always start at friend right!

Maggie gave up in the verbal fight with Vicki, she moved quickly to her room and start changing. Five minutes later, the doorbell rang. Vicki was the only left to open it.

Vicki: Hello! Lawyer Koo.

Louis: Vicki is it? Please call me Louis.

Vicki: Oh, can I, sure then Louis, please come in.

Louis: *hesitantly walked in, when Vicki followed behind*

Vicki: Some one was just dressing up to their best look for your birthday! *Smiling mockingly, as Louis slightly blushed doesn't know what to say. But thank God, Maggie came out.

Maggie: Hey Louis, did Vicki question you to death yet!

Vicki: What are you talking I haven't even started?

Maggie: Good, then, so we must leave quickly before she found the switch to play!

Vicki: Hey?!

Maggie quickly pulled on Louis, both of them chased out to the door, before Vicki could reply, they waved good bye, and closed the door.

Vicki: *Sank back on the sofa in boredom* Now is only me.Oh.. no. with Pussy.. Pussy where is that stupid cat gone again? *Just as Vicki about to stand up to look for Vicki, the power gone off, everything turned to darkness.* Great, how it just become the most boring night ever.!

Up the stair. With both Jimmy and Daniel gone out on their double date, Alec was left alone, in the powerless Apartment.

Alec: *walking out to the dining room, with his big touch on his hand* Mossy, where have you gone again? ..That mouse, Should I have to put a chain on it or something.Mossy.*He continued digging out the living room, but still there were no sight of Mossy, so slowly Alec opened the door and walked out of his apartment.*

Down stairs.

Vicki: *Walking out of her room with a big candle bowl in her hand* Pussy must have gone out again, and I don't even have a proper touch to look for it, oh well, candle does have light! Pussy. *Eventually she started to walked out of the apartment, and made her way up the stair thinking Pussy just gone to the top balcony as normal*

One passing the boy's apartment, she paused.

Vicki: "Should I come in and ask him? Pussy could be in there with that Mossy!..But no, if he had my cat he should be the one returning it for me.!" *With the thought, she continue on, making her way up the stairs.

On the top balcony,

Alec was moving around with his touch, until he spotted at Mossy and Pussy was sitting together in the top shelf.

Alec: I knew, that you two had crawl up here, get down now, Pussy, your boss will be worrying looking for you, and she will get mad.

Vicki: It's none of your business! Whether I'll get mad or not! *Grumpily walked up to the balcony where Pussy is*

Alec: *turned over in surprised, to see her* Vicki, I was just telling Pussy to get down.

Vicki: Yeah, like as if you can be that nice! *She picked up Pussy in her hand, the other held on the candle and started walking down again, until Alec ran over, and stopped her way*

Alec: *spread out his arms* Vicki? What's wrong with you.

Vicki: Nothing! *Looking down*

Alec: One day you are that, other day you like this? Why are you keep changing for no reason.

Vicki: *Put down Pussy, began to rage out her voice, looking at him angrily* Nothing wrong with me, and you are you to judge that I'm unreasonable.!

Alec: I didn't say that *He found himself yelling back on top of her* You are just coming back to your weird sense, again!

Vicki: Oh, Now I am weird, am I. Well! Sorry mister, that just who I am, If you want someone you one hundred percent normal, why don't you call up your girlfriend, that a normal person for you! *She started pushed him over to one side, and continued walking down, when Alec quickly grabbed back her hand*

Alec: Who is normal, and who is my girlfriend?

Vicki: Your girlfriend you must know her better than I.

Alec: But I don't have a girlfriend.

Vicki: So who is that Joey then?

Alec: Joey?

Vicki: Yeah, the one that taken care of you so well when you were sick.

Alec: She's not my girlfriend, she is the person that scared me the most in this world, how can I be with her, when I can't stand her company.

Vicki: *slowly calm down herself, as she turned back in amazement* So you had nothing with her?

Alec: No, No No.Why should I when I. *Suddenly realized of a more interesting topic* Beside how did you know that she took care of me when I'm sick.

Vicki: *trembled, lost for words* I.I accidentally saw her, and she told me! Alec: And you believed, and is that why you angry at me, because you thought I was with her.

Vicki: *Trying to find a better excuse to hind her feeling* No, I always act like that with you!

Alec: But in Macau you were different, we were different! Vicki *He started pulling her forward to face him* I been wanting to tell you this since they got back, but I haven't got any chance, until tonight.

Vicki: *Find herself, breathing more deeper, as she tenderly await for what he is about to say*

Alec: Since those time we spend in Macau, it create a new feeling in me. A feeling of missing a person, when you haven't see her, a feeling of uncontrollable thoughts of one person that always in your mind.

Vicki: *Widened her eyes, as if she already knew what he is about to ask, and now she is looking for an answer through his eyes*

Alec: And that person is you! Vicki! And I just like to know, have you feel the same! *He put both his hands, to grab firmly one of her free hand, hoping for the right answer*

Vicki: I.I.*She could felt the candle bowl which been holding on her other hand was then moving fastly!*

Alec: I known you must be! Cause that was why would got jealous with Joey.

Vicki: I didn't get jealous at Joey!

Alec: But do you have feelings for me too!?

Vicki: I.. I.*Before she could get her mind to answer, but Alec was always persuade on his move.*

Slowly he put one of her hand laid on his waist, with both his free hands, he only need to use them to scoop up her face, slowly they were engaging for the first kiss.

Vicki suddenly found all her muscles to be loosening against his firm grab. Gradually, her other arms, emerged slowly around his neck. As she was to drawn to the kiss, Vicki wasn't aware that the burning candle which was holding in her hand had left out it's bowl, and fell down to the ground.

Unfortunate for them, since they were standing near by a washing line, with dry clothing and towel, handing all over the place, when the candle dropped down from Alec back shoulder, where Vicki's arm was. It immediately caught into a small flame, but hot enough to alert Alec.

Alec: Oh, my god!

Vicki: Fire! *Vicki immediately, turned for the fire extinguisher on the other side, and put out the fire, while Alec was still in a little shock, thinking how easily he could got burn just then.*

Vicki: *After the little fire was put out on time, Vicki quickly turned back her attention on Alec.* Are you okay! Sorry. *Looking all over his body, so see if he hurt*

Alec: *Grabbed back Vicki's hand for confirms* I'm fine and it not your fall.

Vicki: Yes it is! The vow is effecting.

Alec: What's vow?

Vicki: Don't you remember, we both made a vow that if we get together, we'll be.

Alec: *Put his finger on her lips* It's just a stupid phrase. There is no supernatural thing like that!

Vicki: So what did you call the fire just then!

Alec: It was an accident! *Firmly laid his hand on her shoulder, he was trying to get Vicki to relax* Listen Vicki! It up to us for making our relationship work, not other people. Don't worry we will over come everything. Before it was just an accident. *And to prove his point, Alec one more time cuddles Vicki in his arm, and firmly tried again for their second kiss*

Everything was just heating up as they wanted, until when Alec pulled Vicki with him to move little stepped backward. He accidentally bumped his head against on of the antenna's pole.

Alec: Ouch! *Forcing to stop on the kiss, and rub on the back of his head.*

Vicki: What, what happened?

Alec: Oh. *Try not to show the pains* It's just an accident.

Vicki: See, I told, we can't!

Alec: Said who?

Vicki: But we only kiss, and you hurt twice. Alec: They were all accidents. I'll be careful next time.

Vicki: But what if you keep getting hurt again.

Alec: I..I..I'm willing to receive any punishment, as long as I can with you!

Vicki softly laid her sorrow eyes, on his sweat promise, quickly she lead up to look for his embracing. They stayed nestle on each other arms, where they can still keep a caution on the surrounding, incase a third accident might pop out.

After picked up Maggie from her apartment, escaping quite safely from Vicki’s hook, Louis waste no time. He drove straight to the SenSan Seafood Restaurant, situated beside the calming sea of Hong Kong’s beach. With everything already pre-arrange, Louis and Maggie, quickly pasted the waiting queue and get to their booked table, which is in a very private corner at the outside balcony, looking straight to the water.

 Maggie: *After the waiter opened their Champagne bottle and filled in their glass* Happy Birthday, I wish you all the best! *Rising her glass to Louis, who quickly reply with the cheer*

 Louis: *After he happily put down the glass* Thanks, but did you say Happy birthday?

 Maggie: *Looked up confusingly* Didn’t you say it’s your birthday today?

 Louis: *smiled cheekily* Well! If I didn’t say it my birthday, would you still go out with me?

 Maggie: You *frowned in shock* Really a good lawyer!

 Louis: *Laughing* Yes, doing my job, as an advocated lawyer sometime you have to turn black to white, white to black!

 Maggie: *Looked up at him cautiously, half-serious, half joking* But doing my job, as a justice detective, I hope that you will keep on the white path.

 Louis: *Began to rise his glass* Sure, for you…*hesitated* for our friendship, I will keep in the clean path.

 Maggie: *Also raises her glass* For our friendship.!

 By then the ordered food started to come out, Louis had to pause back on their conversation, and they both started to have their dinner.

 After the final desert, Maggie once more time rises her glass to say thank you.

 Maggie: Thank you, Louis! For another nice dinner!

 Louis: Is that all you want to say to me?

 Maggie: *paused back for a second and pushed up for a smile* And thank you for being such a good friend.!

 Louis: *Dropped off his hopeful smile, tensional he put down his glass and looked up at Maggie eagerly* Maggie!…I…Hope that we can be more than good friend!

 Maggie: *immediately noticed what Louis was aiming for, reluctantly, she stood up, and walked to the balcony, facing to the sea. Louis later followed* You know if a person fell down once in the run, they would be very caution of running.

 Louis: But they just can never run again just because they fell down once! Life is full of risks, but also lots of chances. And the people have to be strong, to stand up from the fall and try again.

Maggie: But, they might fall again! *Sighed hopelessly* They properly need sometimes, until they regain the trust!

Louis: *softly grabbed hold at her hand, and tenderly he turned her around to face him* I’ll wait for you, until you gain your trust back!

Maggie was deeply touch by his words, but just not touch enough for her to fall in his arms, may be she just need some more times to heal her last wound.

At the girl’s place, 6.30 am, the next morning, Ruby had already changed and was leaving for work, when she walked out to the living room to joined Maggie, Ada and Jolin, who were having there coffee.

Ruby: Morning everyone!

Jolin: Morning Ruby! Got time for breakfast!

Ruby: Oh, no I got that stupid early shift at 7.30, which I’m about to be late! What’s time you guys going? *Walking over to the kitchen and pour herself a glass of orange juice*

Maggie: We got the morning off!

Ruby: *Realisation* Oh, yes Vicki told me the other day, by the way *looking around* don’t tell me she still in bed, I thought she went to sleep early lastnight, I never see her when I got back.

Ada: No, Vicki already gone out to get some breakfast!

Jolin: I thought she came home late last night, heard the door around 1 in the morning.

Ada: No, that’s not Vicki that was Maggie! You guys were not the only one with your date! *Glancing over to Maggie, who immediately moved herself and her coffee away from the dinning table, and walked over to the sofa*

Jolin and Ruby: *Quickly followed and attacked at Maggie from her two sides*

Ruby: You had a date?

Jolin: With whom?

Ada: Lawyer Louis Koo! *Ruby and Jolin both turned back in shock, while Maggie turned over in an accusing look*

Jolin: So had Lawyer Koo crossed the line!

Maggie: What line?

Ruby: Oh, you know, the line from Friendship to relationship.!

Maggie: Ofcouse no, I don’t know what you guys talking about, I’m going to get change. *With that she put down her cup, and walked straight to her bedroom*

Ruby: *turned over to Jolin* I thought you guys had the morning off!

Ada: Come on guys, she just want to run away from you, give her a break!

Jolin: *Sighed with disappointment and walked back to the kitchen table*

Suddenly the door’s bell ring.

Ruby: *Jumped up* Oh my God, that’s must be Jimmy, I forgot!

Jolin: What?

Ruby: He’s driving me to work, remember! *Rushed over to open the door* Jimmy!

Jimmy: Hi, are you ready?

Jolin: Hi! Jimmy!

Ada: Morning Jimmy!

Jimmy: Hey! Ladies how are we!

Ruby: They’re fine, come on let’s go! Bye guys! *And she rushed out of the house with Jimmy*

Downstairs, on the street outside, Alec and Vicki were making there way back with the breakfast for the others. And ofcouse, no one knows that they are going together.

Vicki: *Biting a Chinese donut in one hand, while her other hand lingered on Alec’s arm, while he had to hold all of the take away for her* I never know that shop down there, make donuts so good!

Alec: There are a lot of good things you will experience from me!

Vicki: *put the donut in Alec’s mouth, to shut him up* blubbering! *They both started giggling together, until she realised that they had reached to the gate, she stopped*

Alec: What did you stop?

Vicki: We’re home!

Alec: Yes! And aren’t we supposed to go up!

Vicki: You silly, what if they see us!

Alec: Opps, sorry I forgot, so what we do now!

Vicki: Like the morning! You go in first incase Jolin and Daniel are out the balcony again, prevent them from seeing us together!

Alec: Okay! *Handed over the container’s bag to her* I’ll see you later!

Vicki: Okay! *He led over and gave her a quick peak on her cheek, and quickly walked in the gate first while Vicki stood back outside, planning that she will go in after another 5 mins*

Alec just reached to the gate and he immediately turned running back outside, when seeing Ruby was walking down the stair.

Vicki: *Seeing Alec suddenly ran back to her* Why are you back here again?

Alec: Ruby is coming out!

Vicki: SO?

Alec: So if you see me and then see you out here!….

Vicki: Oh…okay, let’s me go in then, I’ll see ya later, bye.

Alec: Careful!

Vicki was just going to the gate, just at the point Alec had got to, she stopped and ran back outside again.

Alec: What happen now?

Vicki: Jimmy, he’s also coming down with Ruby!

Alec: They’re going together.

Vicki: ah…I remembered now, he’s taking her to work, she has an early shift this morning.

Alec: So what do we do!

Vicki: Run, they can’t see us together, then Jolin and Daniel will know.

So together, they quickly ran back to the another way on the street.

Not long after that, Jimmy drove his bike out, with Ruby sitting behind him, we went pass to quickly they none of them notice of the two figure hiding in the next street. The moment the bike went pass, both sighed in big release.

Alec: Do we going to be like this, forever!

Vicki: I don’t know, but we not going to live easy when they found out either.

Alec: *frowned* Okay, I’ll prepare better, tomorrow! Come on, let’s go back. *Supporting each other, we finally made their way back to their Apartments safely*
