Now I do not usually go into a film thinking is is going to be bone and come out ranting about it for a year. Until I saw this film. I went to the cinema when this was floating around expecting a really crappy were wolf movie where a bunch of English go around shoooting things in a showcase of how hard us Brits can be. Is that what I got... I'll explain.
Set in the Scotish highlands (Scotland is a small country which has a border connecting them with England. It is similar to England except the people are harder to unserstand and the weather is not as good)... A bunch of British soldiers get sent on a trainning exercise against special ops during the weekend of a Football world cup qualifing match against Germany.
But all is not as it seems. You see on theses highland in Scotland live a pack of Wolfmen who eat people. And this week it's a full moon... It all goes Bone.
Ok so it sound's like a typical horror wolf movie but this film is FANGtastic (Wait that Vampires). Think Lock Stock with great big dogs. Think Snatch where the dog obssessed about eating stuff could do you harm. I was so impressed about this film I went out and started praising it to the Clique. They did not seem that impressed with the sound of it so I waited. Until it came out on DVD and bought the son Bitch. This movie has it all. Great one liners. Suspence. And a bloke called Spoon.
If watching a movie did it for me I'd be rolling on the floor in sheer delight while this movie played on my PS2. I still have not done it justice. It will be a classic one day.
