A view into the life of the creator of this site as of April 2003.
She is the typical "shy girl" in class, comes from a good family, gets good grades, doesn't talk much around people she isn't friends with. Then you get to know her and find that she is a completely different person. She can be loud, talkative, goofy. Doesn't care what other people think or say about what she does, says or wears, or at least, she likes to think that she doesn't. Most people can't figure her out, and those who try to, find that she doesn't even have herself figured out completely yet.
17 years old and is leaving for university in September. She is terrified of leaving home and everything familiar, but for some reason she still wouldn't dream of not leaving. She still gets a chill of fear whenever she thinks about going, and really does not feel old enough.
She is an active member of the United Church of Canada, a protestant sect of Christianity for those who haven't heard of it.
She works as a camp counselor at a United Church summer camp, a job which she adores, dispite all of the crappy things that can happen, and has always dreamed of working there, because that is where her parents met. Working there had caused her to fear raccoons. And airhorns. But if has gotten her (almost) over her fears of cimbing down cliffs and sleeping outdorrs and taking chage and being in front of people.
Is very pro-choice when it comes to abortion, because there are some situations that it is needed, although she doesn't agree with how some people use it. She is also very much for equal rights of homosexuals, even though she likes boys. She doesn't drink, smoke, or do drugs, and people who do partake in them often tend lose much of her respect.
Loves theatre and musicals and movies that actually have some sort of real meaning. Loves glitz and glamour of Hollywood, but not the politics behind it.
Likes bands who write their own songs and play their own instruments. Is sick of pop music and enjoys songs with real meaning laced into the lyrics.
She likes to read, but only when she finds a good book.
Collaging is her creative outlet. She can collage for hours and not even realize it. Wishes she was good at photography, and might be, if she had enough time and enough inspiration.
She dreams of a fairy tale happily ever after for herself and is a hopeless romantic. However, she hasn't found any boys who might be her perfect match yet, and blames that on living in a small town. She hopes to meet him when she leaves home next year, seeing as all hope of finding him where she lives is gone.
She can be very opinionated, but tends not to express those opinions in front of others out of fear of being wrong.
Her parents own a jewellery store, and have since she can remember. She works there during the school year. She barely wears any jewellery, and she's not stuck-up or rich, like the stereotypes say she should be.
Wants to travel.
Moose are her primary love. Although she likes most animals, moose capture her heart. Her love of animals will never force her to become a vegetarian.
Average to tall height, big greenish eyes, puffy (dispised) brown hair, and a smile that has benefited from the use of braces when she was younger. Very pale skin, possibly too pale.
Loves her life, and wouldn't change any part of it for the world.
