The whole week went slow because the boss was not in a good mood so everybody paid for that. When it was finally friday I felt worn out but glad that tomorrow I was going to relax. It hadn't been easy getting the weekend off, but I worked hard to deserve it. I hadn't spoken to Belle or Alexis this whole week and I felt terrible, but at the same time I felt great because of my relationship with Nick. Things were growing stronger with him and it all felt so good that I forgot about all my worries and just embraced everything that was happening.
I spent friday night packing for saturday. Nick was supposed to pick me up at 6:00 in the morning so I put the alarm at 5:00. I finished packing and put everything beside the bed so it would be easier to put in the car when it was time to leave. I went to sleep at 11:00 very tired. A part of me didn't want to fall asleep... I was just to excited to do so. So for 15 minutes I stayed up thinking of tomorrow. I closed my eyes and fastly fell asleep.
At 5:00 the alarm cut my sleep short waking me up. I streched,yawned, and turned the alarm off. I stepped into a warm shower quickly. The water woke me up right away, but I still felt tired. I dressed after getting out, and took my things downstairs. It was 5:30 still so I had half an hour left to do whatever I wanted. I logged onto my account on aol. I checked my mail and downloaded a few games while I was on. As soon as the games finished downloading I signed off and shut the computer down. Just as the screen went black the doorbell rang.
I raced downstairs to answer. Nick stood out there waiting. Hey said hi to me as I brought him inside. He held me and kissed me.
"You want some coffee or something?" I offered.
"No, it's ok I already have two cups of coffee in the car. One for you and one for me. So are you ready to go?"
"Yeah, I just have to get some stuff into the trunk of your car if you don't mind."
"Here I got it," he said lifting up the things on the floor.
I followed him outside locking the door behind me. We walked to the car and he popped the trunk to put the things inside. Then he walked over to my side and opened my door for me to get in. I stepped in and he went around to his side. Inside the car it was warm and cozy. I felt like falling asleep and I thought I would for a moment.
I looked down at the coffees,"Which one's mine?" I asked.
"Go ahead and grab which ever one you want."
I grabbed the one nearest to me and took a sip. The coffee was warm and I felt so comfortable.
"Are you hungry," Nick asked.
"No, I'm fine for now, thanks."
"Ok, but I'm warning you that the drive over there is about four hours, so... if you get hungry just tell me."
"Ok."
"So, how are things with you," he asked.
"I'm fine what have you been up to lately?"
I had a photo shoot on wednesday. That was so funny Kevin fell," he started laughing.
He had such a cute laugh I couldn't help but laugh too.
"How'd he fall?"
"He was telling me something about my music and he was walking backwards and didn't see a chair in the way so he tripped."
I laughed even harder."What kind of music do you listen to?" I asked.
"I listen to Limp Bizkit, Godsmack, Incubus,and Jodeci."
"Cool."
For 3 hours we talked about funny things that happened to us or to our friends. I told him about the time that Belle fell into a waterfall, and the time that we got kicked out of a store. For the last hour we talked about how the backstreet boys became the backstreet boys. I told him about how I had only seen him a few times on t.v. but hadn't really noticed him that much.
"So you're not a fan," he asked jokingly.
"I have never actually listened to your music."
"Here listen to this," he said as he reached over my legs to the glove compartment and took out a cd. "This is our first cd, here I'll put "As long as you love me" and then you tell me what you think.
"Ok, then."
The song started and instantly I recognized his voice. It was a sweet song. After it had ended he turned the music down and asked,"So what do you think?"
"I love it!"
"The reason I put that song is because that's how I feel about you. I don't care what you've done wrong in the past, who you are, or where you're from just as long as you love me like I love you."
"Why do you love me so much?" I asked.
He took hold of my hand and kissed it,"Don't question my love, all that you should know is that I love you and I would do anything for you."
I smiled and said that I loved him too. In ten minutes we arrived at the cabin. Nick took the stuff out of the trunk and put it inside. I stepped out of the car and a cold breeze hit my face. I walked into the cabin where Nick stood waiting.
"Are you hungry?" he asked.
"Yeah, but don't worry about it sit down and I'll make us something to eat."
"Are you sure, you don't need help?"
"No, I'm fine go sit down."
While I prepared the breakfast he started a fire in the fireplace. Once we finished breakfast we went out to fish. We caught a few fish and brought them back into the house. Then as Nick was setting the fish down onto the table I ran out. I hid behind the cabin so he wouldn't find me. I could hear Nick calling my name playfully and saying how when he found me he was going to do something terrible to me. I couldn't help but laugh and soon Nick found me. He rushed toward me about to tackle me and I started to run for my life. I half screamed and half laughed. He tackled me onto the soft snow and we rolled down the hill. We landed at the bottom of the hill laughing. I tried to run, but he held me to tight for me to get free. He tickled me as I tried to get away.
When I finally got free I headed for the water which was straight ahead of where we were lying down. I had no choice but to get into the water since Nick was only a couple of feet away. The cold of the water struck at my warm body, and I had to come up for a breath instantly. Nick was barely diving in to the water. I went back down and swam until I had to come up again. This time Nick was no where in sight.
"Nick... Where are you? Ok, Nick game's over where are you?"
I started to get worried, what if something had happened to him? I dove underneath again and looked under the murky waters. It was too cold for anyone to hold their breath that long. So I came up again. Nothing. I stayed there waiting for him to come out.
"Very funny Nick. Come out come out where ever you are?"
Suddenly something pulled me from underneath. I screamed as I went down. Underneath the water it was too muddy for me to see who my attacker was. I struggled to free myself, but they held me too tight.
Finally I managed to get loose and go up for air. I gasped at the coldness of the water. Nick went up beside me laughing.
"Did I scare you?"
"Very funny, I'm going to kick your butt..." I said still scared.
He came nearer to me until his face touched mine and he wispered in my ear,"I'll never ever hurt you."
Then he kissed my ear and took hold of my hand. I ran my fingers through his hair. Then I ended the kiss and said,"Race you to shore!"
I had a big head start but I could feel him gaining on me. I swam and when I reached the shore I started to run. He followed close behind me until he reached me. Then we started to roll around the place.
We played around for the next few hours. It wasn't until the sun started to set that we decided to get inside. The sunset was beautiful; the gleaming sun slowly went down behind the snow covered mountain tops. It was such a beautiful sight.
Once we were inside Nick prepared a fire while I prepared dinner for the both of us. We sat down at the table and ate while we talked about different things. Nick imitated Howie's wink and I laughed so hard I almost choked. It was so funny.
After dinner we sat down infront of the fire. Nick picked up some sticks and we roasted marshmallows. Mine caught on fire so I had to blow it out. I didn't taste so good after. After that we just sat and looked at the fire.
After a while Nick turned and faced me. "I never thought that there was someone like you out there in the world, but now I see that I was wrong. I'm thankful to God that I found you. I wish I had found you earlier. With you my life seems so happy. Till my body is dust, till my soul is no more, I will love you. Till the sun starts to cry and the moon turns to rust, I will love you. But I need to know will you stay for all time? I never want to let you go. I promise you that I'll be there for anything and that with each day I'll just love you more and more," he said.
Tears formed in my eyes at his words. I looked down so I wouldn't have to look in his eyes. He took hold of me and brought my face to his, and then he kissed me. The kiss got deeper and deeper and deeper until we ended up in bed.
