James Bond. CBS paid Ian Fleming for the rights to adapt Casino Royale into a one hour television adventure as part of the series. However, this Bond was a CIA agent, called Jimmy Bond. Michael Pate played Clarence Lieter as a British agent, and Peter Lorre was Le Chiffre.
