Stumble and Fall

I search through the dark Just trying to find it There isn’t even a mark Or a trace of it

I stumble and fall over you Because I still can’t see Maybe if there wasn’t you I could find it, and be set free

I continue to look Though I know it isn’t around Where the ground shook Is where it can be found

But I have lost that place too I know not where it is I dare not ask you You’ll never know what it is

I search the walls, and floors Look under the bed And behind the doors Still can’t find it, so now I move ahead

I stumble and fall over you Because I still can’t see Maybe if there wasn’t you I could end the search for me
