First is Walt Witman. He is one of the greatest writer's (in my mind) He has inspired me to write what I think is best, and not to worry about what others think.
Here are two great Poems by him.
This one is kinda long, but it is worth reading, any time I get down I think or read this poem and I am fine again.
Beth told me when I got her the Emily Dickinson book that there was a poem in there that reminded her of me... here it is:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"If I can stop one heart"
If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.
This took me a hell of a long time to do. Actually, 4 hours straight. I'm very proud of it, and that's all that matters. This is to show how much I love Janis Joplin's music. She's great (as great as Tori in my mind) I can relate to all of her songs, but the ones I have the lyrics to here, well...I relate on a different level with these...personal. The deal with the pictures? well, the songs show how you feel during the time, so if Janis has a lonely face, then it's a sad song..... Hope ya like!
Ball & Chain ~~~~~ Love at times, feels like a ball and chain
Kosmic Blues ~~~~~ A really good, really depressing number everyone relates to.
A Woman Left Lonely ~~~~~ You can only take it soo long. I know that for a fact
