You cried
As I tried
To find a way
To tell you I would be back, some day
You smiled at me
When I told you how things would be
But I know the real you
And we both know we’re through
You kiss my lips
As you hold onto my hips
I don’t want to go
And leave you so low
You cried
When I cried
As I tried to leave you
But I can’t, because I love you
