Above
Home
Above the clouds
I can find peace
Without the crowds
I can find release
Above the foggy mist
She smiles at me
I do regreat all I've missed
But now I'm here for whatever will be
Above the moon
I can be with her
I hope to find that place soon
Because I do miss her
My heart misses the joy
Of having a life
To me, it's just a toy
Like a rusty old knife
Below the sky
I find myself alone
If someone could hear my cry
I wouldn't make the journey alone
Above the clouds
I will find you
Without the noisy crowds
I can tell you how I love you

Inspired by: I actually thought of this poem over a 2 hour period. It started when I left from my uncle's at 11 tonight. The whole place was covered in fog and the first thing that popped in my head was "Above the clouds" so Driving home (slowly so I could think) I came up with the poem... "She" and "you" refers to Marissa.
