One Sweet Day *Ch 4*

I can't belive Emily did this for me.She knew somehow I could get better from this.When I saw Nick...I mainly panicted.Just seeing him sitting by me made me love him even more than I already did.Nick gave me that smile that everyone loves so much.I layed there in Nick's arms for what it seemed like 5 minutes was an hour.I was out.I didn't know what was happening.When I woke up I was in my room in my bed.I saw Nick.

"Hey are you okay?You scared me there for a second"Nick asked walking over to my bed.
"Yea...I am okay.I just got a little freaked out there."I only saw Nick.I could here all the guys and everyone else laughing.
"How come no one else came?"I asked.
"I dunno.They are all like flirting with each other out there and I didn't feel like staying out there."he said sitting on my bed.
"awww how sweet of you."I said looking at a dozen roses sitting there on my night stand.
"Huh?"he said with a confused look on his face.
"The roses"
"Oh....you're welcome.I got them like 15 minutes ago."
We sat there and talked.I was having a conversation with a Backstreet Boy.I thought this would like never come true in a million years.
"Hey do you wanna go out tonight?"he asked with a smile.
"Sure why not.It won't hurt."I said getting up from my bed and heading to my mirror.I got all ready.Nick took me by the hand.We walked out into the living room.
"Hey guys...we're going out.See ya later"
"Alright Nick & Jess...see ya"AJ said waving good-bye.Everyone else did that same. We walked down the stairs still holding hands.

~Nick's P.O.V~

Me and Jess are now getting really close.I think she realizes that I like her a lot.But is afraid of what I'd think.I couldn't contemplate a good one of coarse.I like her and she might not like me.Oh no!I hoped she returned the feelings.But how could a girl so amazing feel something for me(note:if anyone know who Emmy is...she kind of wrote that last part...if you couldn't tell)?I decided to find out for myself.

"Hey Jess can I ask you something?"
"Sure...what is it?"she replied.
"I know you might be a little upset to talk about it,but I wanna help you.You can get through this shit that you are going through.I wanna know everything."I said taking her hand.
"Nick, not now.I don't wanna be all sad and icky."She said putting a frown on her face.
I felt even more sorry for her.She doesn't need to be like this.As we were dancing close she gave me a warm smile that I had given her when she first woke up.When I saw it...for like the first time in a long time I felt loved.

*An Hour Later*

Jess and I were getting really tired.Brian called me from the cell phone saying that they had already gone back to the hotel.Jess was falling asleep while we were walking out the door.I took the keys.I didn't want anything BAD to happen tonight.When we arrived at the apartment everything was off.Emily and them must have went to bed.I found the key to unlock the door with what hand I had left from carrying Jess.I carried her in.She was sound asleep.I put her in her bed.She layed there so quietly.I lightly kissed her on the forehead.

"Hey Nick,what ya doin' here?"She asked.
"Putting you to sleep"
"Oh.....are you leaving?"
"Not unless you want me too"I said.
"No!I want you to stay...I feel safe with you.I dunno why though,but I think it's because I like you"She said.
"I can stay"I said hopping onto the bed.I stayed awake for a little while so I could watch her sleep.

*Next Day*

~Jess's P.O.V.~

I woke up seeing Nick.I forgot about all what had happened last night.

"Jess! Come here"Emily called.
"Hold on"I got out of bed.
"Yea"
"Do you know where Nick is?Brian just called and he didn't come back to the hotel last night."
"He's sleeping in my room.I didn't want him to leave last night.I feel safe with him."I said trying not to shout.
"Oh...wake him up!They have to leave later on."
'leave'I thought.Why?Right when I am starting to get attached to a guy they always end up leaving why? why? why? I walked back into the bedroom where Nick was still sleeping 'sleepy head' I thought as I watched him sleep.His hair was all messed up..how adorable. I grabbed my camera and took a picture..he awoke
"Hey what's the big idea?"Nick said rubbing his eyes.
"You looked so cute with you're hair all messed up I couldn't reisit it."I said laughing.
"Don't show that to anyone"
"Alright...."
"Why did you wake me up for anyway?"Nick said sitting up.
"Brian called this morning and said that you have to leave today"I said down.
"Shit! That was today?Damn....I fucked this up....promise me this okay?"he said taking my hand and trying to get dressed at the same time.
"Okay..."
"When...or if I come back to Cali...I want you to be single.I wanna be with you and only you."he said.
"I promise" we kissed for the first time.
"I'm sorry that I have to leave you.Bye"Nick walked out the door.
I felt so empty inside once again.I saw the limo drive off with him in it.
"Jess?What's the matter?"Lesley asked.
"Nick left"
"So? why did you like him or something?"
"Yea...we promised each other we'd stay single until we see each other again."I said having a tear run down my eye.
"OMG! You're going out with a Backstreet Boy"Lesley exclaimed.
"So point being?"I sounded a little mean.What's the big deal about it anyway?

~Nicks P.OV.~

She looked sad when I left.I knew she liked me and I knew I liked her.I arrived at the hotel.I know I am going to be in some deep shit.

"Nick! Where in the fuck have you been?"I hear AJ shout.
"At Emily's apartment with Jess.I slept there last night."I said looking for AJ.
"Why? you knew we were leaving today?"
"Actually,I didn't I thought we were leaving tomarrow."I said.
"Yea..uh huh sure...ya did."AJ said combing his hair.
"Shut up! I am telling the truth."I said snapping back.
"Oooo Nicky woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning"AJ said teasing.
I walked out of the room.I couldn't take it anymore.Doesn't anyone understand me? I guess not. I feel so alone now...all AJ wants to do is piss me off.I saw Brian walking around the rails.I wonder if Brian would be mad?
"Brian,are you mad at me too?"I asked.
"A little.Where were you anyway? No, wait let me guess...with Jess huh?"he said.
"Yea..."
"You like her a lot don't you?"Brian said trying to get the scoop.
"Well yea...."
"Does she like you too?"
"Yep...she told me last that she did and that she felt safe with me."I said being happy.
"So are you two going out then?"He asked.
"Ahh...I see."Brian went walking around the hotel some more.

*Hour Later*

We left about an hour later for the airport.AJ was still teasing me about the whole thing this morning. He's never going to let go of this whole experience.I think the only one who really understands me is Brian.
