Thank goodness for random humor. My life would be quite boring without it. I swear these girls near me just kissed...bizarre. Anyway...moving on with the random humor theme. Many things happened this weekend that I found random and bizarre...due to these two features I found them quite amusing.

At the track meet...good gracious, I never talked about that... **side bar** I jumped 5 feet at the track meet, which I am very pleased with for my first outdoor meet especially since it wasn't a particularly good day for me **end side bar** Anyway, at the track meet there were a lot of people running. **note** Anyone who was surprised by the last statment should leave at this time. **end note** Many of the track uniforms looked very much like swimming suits. Bleck. The whole "jiggling" thing didn't do it for me...ish. Was funny, though.

Also at the track meet...there was a steeple chase. People fell. I am not as sadistic as I seem when I tell you that that is hilarious.

Same meet. Yeah. There was this race in which one of our runners was followed by many people...two in particular that were just behind her. The first girl had this big O on her yellow shirt (among other letters). The second girl was from Wheaton and had a orange and blue uniform on. To sum up the reason this was hilarious to me: First girl looked like a Cheerios box and was being chased by Wheaties...

There were these girls in these odd indian blankets that were walking around part of the time...laying in this bizarre fetal position other times. At a track meet. One of the girls on my team laughed until she cried. One of these...uhhh...braves...had her (blonde) hair done in such a way that there was one strand of hair sticking straight up...it looked for all the world like a feather.

Occasionally people knock on the door to get into the room that I am now in... So yesterday I hear this loud knocking and I am like...grrr...fine, I will come and open it. Well, I got there and upon first glace I see nobody. Then I glace down to see about a 4 foot 10 yr old (?--unsure of exact age) wanting to come into the dorm computer area...what the heck...? I have never SEEN anyone that age around here...and she was just along...no one with her. She walked into the kitchen from there and I have never seen her since. I can't believe her knocking ability, she had to have thrown her whole weight into that...
Thus endeth my random amusement
