Typical

Sunday night I was sick and out of it. It is a miserable virus that I would not wish on anyone...(this is only a small lie) My roommate was ordering food and she wanted to know if I would be around Tuesday Morning to open the door for the delivery guy. I said that I would since I always left at 12:30 for class. After she went to bed I remembered my plan to blow up pictures Tuesday morning. Ah well, I thought...we have until the midnight before to change it.

So I get up (reeling) Monday morning and go to work feeling like crap. It was incredibly boring, as expected, and I got home at about 8:10 that night. Amazingly, I remembered to tell her about it right away. She, however, was doing other things at first and then it took her awhile to figure out how to change the time of delivery. So at 9:10 she told me, "We can't change it after 8:30." Typical. So I couldn't print Tuesday morning...I'd have to haul ass Wednesday morning in order to make 13 prints. Somehow, I was doubting this was possible. [5 hours...one hour per print. I love the world in which that makes 13.]

I figured I could at least develop my film on Tuesday, though. I took it over to Wolf and had them process the film in an hour. (it really takes like 15 minutes to do the film) I then headed to Taco Bell for a cheap, if somewhat hideous, meal.

On the way back to good old wolf camera, I see my roommate walking towards me. I have NEVER in my LIFE seen Andey downtown. I was told she did go there, but I didn't have the proof of my own eyes. We stopped and talked about the various issues in our lives, the fact that we had groceries, and the 'never seen downtown before' phenomenon. After awhile she said she needed to move on...so she when on her happy way... (Andey never has a "happy way" but I thought it would be funny if I wrote it like that anyway.)

So I returned to get my pictures and noticed that the door was locked. I looked at the door and then looked at my watch. 6:02...they close at 6, it seems.

The moral of this story is that if you have a roommate, do not sacrifice yourself to feed and talk to them. Thank you. (This message does not apply to MY roommate)
