During the Apollo Program The Bundaberg Astronomical Society
played an active in supporting the Rescue mission for Apoll 13
as we were asked to help relocate the disabled spacecraft when it
was not at it shedualed position. The committed team of visual Observers
at the Alloway Observatory, using their 19 inch Telescope located
the spacecraft 4 degrees from where it was supposed to be and relayed
this information to Nasa control centre.
