Lao Fang You Xi Summary
Lao Fang You Xi is a story set not too long ago. It takes place in Shanghai in two large apartment/houses where a piano teacher and her family, a dumpling peddler and a boss live. In the Li family, there is a grandmother, a girl, a piano teacher and a babysitter named Ji Xiang. Ji Xiang is the main character of the story. Across the street from that apartment lives the butler, caretaker, and Su Xiao Peng. The Su family owns both houses. Su Xiao Peng is the grandson of the rich owner. He is very wealthy(he drives a Mercedes Benz). His grandfather sent him there to "shou fang zi" take away the apartment across the street. That is where the story begins....One day the butler receives an assignment to find Li Mei. Xiao Peng and Ji Xiang tries to help him against his grandfather's wishes. Ji Xiang and him finds a document with a picture of Li Mei and Su Shan. They find that Ji Xiang looks a lot like her. When they lose the picture, Ji Xiang and Xiao Peng takes others to substitute. They look a lot alike. Thats when they started falling in love. Su Shan told Xiao Peng not to fall in love and tries to break them up by bringing Xiao Peng's girlfriend to Shanghai and finally dragging Xiao Peng to Taiwan and forcing him to marry his girlfriend. Ji Xiang cried and cried over this whole ordeal. Finally on Xiao Peng's supposed wedding day, he comes back. He snuck out of the wedding to see Ji Xiang. His grandfather becomes VERY pissed and banishes Xiao Peng from the Family. They take Ji Xiang to the airport to meet him. When he saw her, he liked her because she looked like Li Mei. Ji Xiang and Xiao Peng becomes engaged with his blessing. Before they got married, he went over some facts and discovers that Ji Xiang and Xiao Peng might be cousins....Stop you there...Don't wanna spoil it for you. The Endings the best part.
