Elizabeth twirled around in front of the full length
mirror, feeling like a
real life princess about to embark on her own special fairytale.
The dress
she wore, flaring out like Cinderella's ball gown. Sparkles
flowing from
every turn. She smoothed her hands down the sides and looked up,
catching her
own eyes in the mirror. It was like seeing herself for the first
time.
She flashed back to a moment when she'd stood in front
of a similar mirror.
Getting ready to attend Christmas dinner at the Cassidine
mansion. A time
when she'd been ready to crawl up inside herself and die. When
she'd thought
that Lucky was dead. That her dreams had withered with him as
well. But as it
turned out...the dreams were just beginning. And the best was yet
to come.
How had the last 3 years of her life become a miracle?
How had sneaking out
on the Johnson's and hopping a plane to Port Charles, New York in
the middle
of the night turned out to be such a momentous decision? A snap
decision that
had somehow turned into the best one she'd ever made in her life.
Life had gone from nothing special to everything
special in the blink of an
eye. How though, had it gone from horrendous pain to unspeakable
joy in the
span of a year? And then around and back again in the span of
another?
Lucky.
His name, the answer to every question and every
desire she'd ever had as a
little girl. A girl that thought fantasies come true were
something that
happened to other people. Something that happened for little
blonde girls
named Sarah, and the popular girls at school. The girls that
joined every
club. The girls that passed notes in class.
She opened her eyes and saw her reflection once again.
Her deep blue eyes
glowing with the realization of dreams come true.
Those girls didn't have anything. She...She had everything.
"You look so beautiful."
Elizabeth spun around at the sound of a familiar
voice. Smiling broadly to
see owner. "Thank you Gram."
"How do you feel?" She asked, coming to
stand behind her granddaughter as she
turned back towards the mirror. Audrey secured one errant curl in
place upon
the top of her head. Tugging gently on a lavender flower petal
that had
fallen out of place.
"I think...I think I feel beautiful Gram."
Audrey smiled and wrapped her arms around her youngest
granddaughter's
shoulders from behind. "Well...there is nothing better than
that my dear.
Love - love makes us beautiful."
"Are you two ready?" Emily said, peaking her
head in suddenly through the
door. "Lucky will have my head if I don't get you there on
time Elizabeth."
Elizabeth smiled, and slid her feet into the white
satin slippers. The slight
beading twinkling under the light. She wouldn't bother to ask
where 'there'
was again. She'd already been ignored 5 times. They were all
determined to
keep Lucky's secret.
He had to be laughing at her now. Thinking of how
badly she anticipated
surprises. And this being the mother of them all.
"Emily...how can I thank you for all of this? This is just above and bey -
"You don't have to thank me for anything
Elizabeth...we're friends," she
added, wrapping her arms around Liz.
Elizabeth bit down on her lip, willing herself not to
cry. Knowing there'd be
plenty of waterworks later. "But I haven't treated you like
one in so
long...I was so awful to you, Em."
Emily pulled away, looking into her friends eyes.
"Elizabeth...no matter how
awful you were to me...I always knew you didn't mean it. That you
were being
even more awful to yourself. You were dying inside, and I felt so
terrible
for not being able to help you.....but now.....now, I look at you
and....gosh, it looks like someone turned on the lights behind
your eyes
Elizabeth!" Emily exclaimed. "And if I can't bribe a
few designer friends of
mine to create an absolutely 'to die for' wedding gown for
you...then what
good am I?"
Elizabeth closed her eyes, and kissed her cheek. "Thank you."
"Anytime."
"And no time like the present to get out of
here," Laura said, breezing into
the room. "My God," she whispered, stopping in cold her
tracks.
"Elizabeth...you look...
Elizabeth smiled as she continued. "My son won't be able to breathe."
She closed her eyes and lost the battle to hold back a
single tear. "Your son
made it so I can."
~~~~~~~
Lucky shrugged his shoulders and stepped back a few paces from
the mirror,
inspecting himself as he fastened the last button on his black
jacket.
Pulling it down to smooth out the front a second later. The high
neck of the
coat, revealing only the tiniest bit of crisp, white shirt.
"What are you so worried about?" He asked
his own reflection, running his
fingers through the front of his hair. "This is going to go
perfectly."
He nodded at himself and licked his lips. 'Perfect...it'll be perfect.'
They'd been perfect all along. From the moment he'd
laid eyes on her, she'd
been the most perfect girl he'd ever seen. Perfect in that she
been imperfect
in every way. She'd smoked, talked about buying beer, insulted
his family up
and down, worn clothes that were far too tight for any 'decent'
girl to
wear....she'd been everything contrary to every other girl he'd
ever met.
Everything every other girl wasn't - herself. She'd
been honest. She'd been
fresh. She'd been exciting.
Love and trust. Danger and safety in one beautiful petite package.
Even when he'd allowed Faison's evil manipulations to
take his brain to
places he never wanted to go. Even when he'd accused her of
giving her heart
to his brother. She'd placed her trust in him. She'd been devoted
and her
love had never wavered.
He would spend the rest of his life proving to her
that it hadn't been a
waste of time. That her trust in him and their love had all been
worth it.
Every single moment of their life together would be a testament
to that.
He inhaled deeply and slipped his feet into the shiny
black shoes in front of
him.
"Looks like you're all ready," Luke announced, moving into the room.
Lucky turned and smiled. "I don't think I could be any more ready."
"Good...You look spiffy my boy."
"Thanks," Lucky nodded. A grin pulling at his lips.
Luke bit his lip. He wouldn't cry.
"Damn...when...when did this happen?" He
gestured, pointing to Lucky. At the man he'd become. "When
exactly did you
grow up? And damnit, when did you get so tall?"
"Ahh, come on Dad," Lucky said, turning back
to the mirror to smooth his suit
out once more. "You know exactly when it happened - you MADE
it happen."
The silence from behind him, caused Lucky to find his
father's eyes in the
mirror before him. "Oh...Dad, I didn't mean it like
that."
He turned around swiftly. "Dad...I wasn't talking
about finding out that you
raped Mom. That's not what I meant."
"That's ok, Lucky...I know I forced you to grow
up faster than you should
have had to in that year...you don't have to explain."
Lucky continued. "No, Dad I think I do...because
you - you made me the man I
am...
"I said a lot of things that year. Things that I
meant....But when I said
that I never wanted to be like you...Dad, that's not true."
Luke looked up, his eyes filling with tears. "It's not?"
"Of course not," Lucky asserted, his own
eyes immediately brimming.
"Dad...what you did to Mom...that's not something I'll ever
be able to
forgive or - or rationalize in my brain...But Dad, my HEART...my
heart knows
that you are so much more than that one moment. You are so much
more than
even I thought you were as a kid."
"Lucky - "
"No...let me finish, Dad," Lucky said,
holding up his hand. "Everything I
know about caring, about never giving up, about fighting for what
you believe
in, about loving...Dad, I learned it all from you! Do you really
think I
could have survived being in that cell for close to a year
without all the
things you'd taught me? Every, single, time I had to face Faision
I thought
about what you would do. What you would say in the same
situation...Dad,
without that...Without YOU, I wouldn't have made it.
"Like it or not Dad...you're still my hero."
Luke closed his eyes, and slowly wrapped his arms
around his son. An amazing
child that had grown into an even more amazing man. A man he
would be proud
to know even if he weren't his own flesh and blood. "And
you're my
inspiration."
~~~~~~~
"Lulu...honey, are you sure we're going the right
way?" Elizabeth asked.
Blind to the world. Feeling only the crisp leaves crunch under
her satin clad
feet. She adjusted the handkerchief, blindfold in front of her
eyes. The
'something blue' that Laura had given her, before dragging her
out of her
gram's house.
"Yes...Lucky says bring you here," the
little girl continued, pulling her
soon to be sister-in-law along by the hand. Ever so careful not
to tread on
the beautiful princess gown that she wore. She hoped that someday
she would
get to dress up like in her own story books. "Lizbet' I'm
glad you gonna be
my sister now."
Elizabeth smiled, as she stumbled over a few rocks in
the path. "I'm glad too
Lulu. You know I always wanted a little sister."
"You did?"
"Yep," Elizabeth stated. "We're gonna have a lot of fun together!"
"Are you and Lucky gonna have a baby for me to
play with?" The little girl
asked as she maneuvered over a couple of fallen branches.
Elizabeth giggled. "Well, not immediately
Honey....but hopefully we'll have a
whole house full of kids for you to play with one day."
"Yay!" LuLu shouted.
Elizabeth laughed out loud. "Are we almost there
yet?........."LuLu?...Honey,
where'd you go?"
Silence swept over her as the warm, tiny hand slipped
from hers. The only
sound a gentle night breeze. Until...
The first chords of a melody floated through the soft
wind. Caressing her
face in the same tender, comforting way it had all those years
ago when she
couldn't sleep.
As you kneel beside your bed tonight...
Keep a little prayer for me in sight...
Elizabeth reached behind her, unfastening the
blindfold. Her hand falling
slowly back to her sides as her eyes landed upon the most
beautiful thing
she'd ever seen. Lucky sitting inside their boxcar. Playing the
song he'd
written for her years ago. With candles surrounding him.
Know that I will be there
When you call
Know that I will catch you
If you might fall...
With their friends and family rendered speechless as
they looked on from the
grass. He was playing. He was singing. He was looking at her and
sending her
all the love he felt through his music. With his eyes. Not caring
that anyone
else was listening.
Not seemingly worried at all that everyone could hear him.
Elizabeth...
Go to sleep
I wanna watch you breathe
I wanna feel God's peace
She moved towards him slowly. Her feet no longer
touching the ground. The
white aisle beneath her seemingly far away.
How had they gotten here? To this place of love and peace?
All I want is this...
Elizabeth
Lucky held her gaze as he strummed the last note he
would play that night -
in front of this crowd, and stood up. Extending his hand to her,
and bringing
her into the boxcar with him.
A priest stepped from the side of the car, smiling at
the two young people in
love. Two people that were more in love than any couple he'd ever
seen. He
could see it in their eyes. The way they'd looked at each other
from the
moment the girl had stepped onto the white carpet. She hadn't
even seen him.
Her eyes had been focused on the boy serenading her the entire
time.
Aaah, and the way the boy had went on and on about her before she'd arrived.
He looked down, not having to tell them to link hands.
They already were. The
older man glanced out into the dark night. The stars a luminous
backdrop to
the sea of loved ones that sat among the greenery of nature
outside.
"Dearly beloved...we are gathered here today to
join these two people in holy
matrimony. Two people - that from what I've heard - have crossed
many an
ocean to be together. Have fought against all odds to be forever
linked here
today. Their names written in heaven together - forever."
He turned to the groom beside him. The man's lip
already a tremble as he bit
down upon it. A smile lit his face as he turned back to the
crowd. "The groom
has informed me that he and Elizabeth will saying their own vows
tonight - "
"You did?" Elizabeth asked, tears already
slipping down her cheeks as she
smiled.
Lucky smiled in return, wiping quickly at his own
cheeks and returning his
hand to hers. "Um...yeah, I figured we could sort of
improv...wing it."
Elizabeth giggled and nodded. "Ok...you first."
Lucky licked his lips and glanced down at his feet for
just a moment,
returning his gaze to her a second later. She looked like an
angel sent down
from heaven. An angel made of both silk and steel.
"Seeing you now...as you came down that
aisle," he began gesturing towards
the ivory carpet. "I was reminded of the first time I saw
you...and I was
reminded of last New Year's Eve when I saw you for the first time
after so
long - when we kissed at the stroke of midnight after being
separated for
what seemed like forever...and each time I noticed something in
your
eyes...Something that I couldn't place. But just now as I watched
you come
down that aisle towards me...a word popped into my mind...
"Destiny. That's it Elizabeth...that's what you
are. You're my destiny.
You're everything that I ever wanted. Everything that I never
knew I even
needed," he chuckled through his falling tears. Unable to
stop them. "All of
it.
"You're so strong. Stronger than you give
yourself credit for...and you give
me strength when I don't think I have any left. You are what
keeps me going
Elizabeth when I start to feel like things are hopeless. You're
my strength.
My love - my life...You are my destiny.
"And no matter who or what has come along to tear
us apart...it hasn't
succeeded. Because you can't fight fate. Destiny...destiny can't
be stopped.
"My destiny - my eternity - my Elizabeth...now and forever.
Elizabeth sniffled, and reached out to brush the tears
flowing over his
beautiful face. Unable to get a hold of her own reckless
breathing or the
silent sobbing that overtook her. Her heart too full to speak.
"You've got my heart Elizabeth...that's a
permanent lock. Everything I am is
in love with you. My soul, my mind, my body, my spirit. And
that'll never
change. I pledge myself to you, Elizabeth. Today - forever."
His hands trembled as he slipped the tiny silver band
along her slim finger.
It fitting perfectly atop the engagement ring he'd given her only
hour ago.
The inside etched with a constant reminder of these first vows
they'd taken
'soul, mind, body, spirit.'
"This ring...is my promise." Lucky sighed, shakily.
Elizabeth breathed in and out, her chest shuddering as
the breath left her
body. She closed her eyes for only a moment before looking out
into the mass
of faces and returning her gaze to their boxcar. Their safe
haven. The
candles dancing in joy for what was taking place under the stars.
There wasn't a more perfect place for her to marry him.
"I know now...for certain that you are my
angel," she whispered. Taking his
face in her hands. Her voice barely audible through the rock
lodged in her
throat. "I know that....because this," she said
gesturing around her. "This
was my haven..our haven..our safe place. The birthplace of our
love....and
you - you've managed to turn it into even more....Heaven on
Earth.
"I don't know how I got so lucky," she
managed. Smiling as Lucky did at the
unintentional pun. "To have you come into my life....You're
right - it...it
had to be destiny. That has to be it. Because...you are all there
is for me
Lucky.
"You are everything I always wanted. And everything I never knew I needed.
"I spent my childhood feeling like the ugly
stepsister from one of my
fairytale books...but," she sighed looking down at her gown
and the man
before her. "You've managed to make me feel like a princess
Lucky...because
you...You are my prince.
"You took a life that was nothing short of
ordinary and you turned it into a
masterpiece. You...are the artist. And I will love you and
cherish you until
my last breath for all that you are.....because I know now that
it's all
possible. You are my heaven - right here on Earth."
Lucky inhaled through his nose and blew out through
his red lips. Rubbing
quickly at the tears that cascaded in rivulets down his cheeks.
He held out his hand as she slipped the larger, silver
band upon his ring
finger. The same reminder inscribed on the inside of his as well.
"This ring...is my promise," Elizabeth
vowed, staring into his glassy blue
eyes.
"Well," the priest sighed. Discretely
dabbing at his own tears a moment later
as the two lovebirds gazed longingly into each others eyes. Peace
draping
over them like a warm cloak of certainty. "There is nothing
more that needs
to be added to that....except -
Elizabeth and Lucky both turned to him, wide -eyed.
Wandering what could
possibly be left. Eager to get their 'official' life together
started. The
priest smiled and gestured quickly. "No need for
heartattacks...only one
thing left....
"I now announce to you, for the first time: Mrs.
and Mrs. Lucas Lorenzo
Spencer Jr.....Lucky, you may kiss your bride."
A sea of applause rose up from the ground beneath
them, along with every pair
of feet that owned them. Every onlooker standing in awe of true
love. The
real thing, live and in person.
~~~~~~~
"That's the last of them," Lucky sighed. Watching as
the last wedding
attendee walked out of the clearing in the forest.
Elizabeth wrapped her arms around his shoulders from
behind, staring out at
the gorgeous array of color just beginning to spread across the
sky. It was
magnificent. Two morning doves stewed quietly just under the
boxcar,
awakening the day.
Lucky rubbed his hands up and down her forearms, as he
admired the same view.
"You cold?" He asked, turning partially to see her
face.
"A little," she smiled. Nestling her head within the crook of his neck.
Lucky slipped away from her briefly to pull the door
shut. He returned
quickly, wrapping his arms around waist. " How do you feel
Mrs. Spencer?"
Elizabeth stepped back and twirled around in her
gorgeous gown. "Aaaahhh!!!
Mrs. Spencer....Mrs. Spencer...Mrs. Spencer....Mrs. Spencer feels
FABULOUS!"
She shouted. Stopping finally in mid twirl. She gazed into his
joyful eyes.
"Do you think you could call me that all the time?"
"Mrs. Spencer?" He asked. "You really
want me to call you that ALL the time?"
Lucky finished, moving closer to her. He raised his eyebrows
suggestively.
"Oh yes, definitely then," Elizabeth smiled
seductively. Wrapping her arms
around his neck as he neared her again. Feeling his hands link at
the small
of her back. His fingers pressing firmly through the white satin.
"I'm afraid this carriage is about to turn back
into a pumpkin though Mrs.
Spencer," Lucky sighed into her ear. Caressing the satin
lacing that fastened
her into the dress. Crisscrossing up and down the entire length
of her back.
"What do you mean?" Elizabeth asked, pulling
away only slightly to see his
face.
Lucky grimaced. "We can't afford an actual
honeymoon Elizabeth...YET, so I
was kinda hoping maybe we could stay here tonight. I mean I know
it's not
what you would have -
Her lips interrupted his words, as they crashed
hungrily into his. Kissing
away every doubt. Lucky's eyebrows knitted together in pleasure
that looked
almost like pain. Her arms tightening around him as her lips left
his. She
rested her head upon his chest. "This is perfect Lucky...I
couldn't have
asked for anything more. I would love to spend the night with you
here. This
is where we fell in love...
"It should start here," she added. Looking into his eyes. "Don't you think?"
Lucky nodded, and caressed her cheek. "Yeah...it should start here."
Lacing his fingers through hers, and bringing her hand
up to his lips, he
pressed a gentle kiss to it. Letting his lips linger for a brief
moment.
"Mrs. Spencer...will you dance with me?"
"Forever," she whispered. Watching as he
strolled over to the turn table set
up in the corner. The machine situated right next to the
television she'd
painted so long ago.
She bit her lip and smiled as the needle moved across the first chords.
At Last...
Lucky was at her side in an instant. Wrapping one arm
and her waist, and
leading her with the other. Letting his nose brush softly against
her hair.
The sweet aroma of the flowers that intertwined with her smooth
strands
intoxicating him.
My love has come along
My lonely days are over
And life is like a song...
Elizabeth lay her head against his shoulder, and
allowed her hands to travel
up his strong forearms and against his broad frame. Her fingers
aching to
touch the skin that his suit covered. They danced smoothly
against the flesh
revealed by his collar, playing against the soft strands of hair
at his nape.
Oh yeah, yeah at last...
Both of his hands dropped to her small waist. His
fingers weaving with one
another at the small of her back as she pressed tighter to him.
He could feel
her heartbeat right against his. It felt wonderful. It felt meant
to be.
The skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped up in clover
The night I looked at you
Elizabeth pulled slightly away, unable to keep from
kissing his precious
lips. As their bodies swayed to the music. He moaned against her
open mouth.
Eagerly accepting her inside.
Eagerly anticipating more to come. His own hands moved
anxiously up her back.
His fingertips flitting about the complicated lacing.
"There's a bow at the
top," Elizabeth panted, pulling away for only a moment.
I found a dream that I can speak to
I dream that I can call my own
Lucky bent before her, pressing his lips against her
chest. The milky flesh
revealed by the low cut bodice. Her breasts beckoning him forth
as they
threatened to spill over the edge of the tight corsetlike top.
His lips
traveled lower and lower. Trailing kisses down her satiny
cleavage.
Her fingers ran haphazardly through his hair, moving
it this way and that as
his lips began to move upwards now. Towards her neck. His mouth
so warm. So
soft...
I found a thrill to press my cheek to
A thrill that I have never known
Lucky pulled away for a brief moment, staring deep
into his wife's eyes. He
kissed her full upon the lips and released her a moment later.
Scooping her
up into his arms and carrying her over to the bed that sat pushed
against the
place she had first painted one.
Elizabeth sighed as he lay on top of her. The satin of
her dress smoothing
against the sheets. She sat up as he moved behind her. Untying
the bow at the
very top of her dress, with patience unparalleled. He forced
himself to go
slow. Placing kiss after tender kiss against her skin, as it was
revealed to
him.
Too beautiful for mere words to adequately describe.
His entire body aching
to be with her. Forever.
Oh yeah, yeah and you smiled
You smiled
Elizabeth shivered as the last of the lacing was
unfastened. Her flesh
exposed, as his fingertips slid down the middle of her back ever
so slowly,
just to reach the top of her silk pantyhose. She turned towards
him, kneeling
as reached under her full skirt. Letting his hands linger against
the smooth
material. She shuddered as they neared the place she yearned for
them to
touch.
Lucky moaned as he slipped his hands inside of her
stockings. Pulling at the
waistband, and reveling in the smoothness of her skin as it was
slowly
exposed.
Oh and then the spell was cast
And here we are in heaven...
Elizabeth moved closer to him, lowering herself ever
so slightly to kiss his
neck as she unsnapped the first button and then the next of his
jacket. The
line of buttons seeming endless to her anxious fingers.
Finally she unfastened the top of his crisp white
shirt, allowing her lips
access to the work of art that was his collar bone. Her tongue
slid slowly
against it and she felt his flesh harden within the confines of
his pants as
she lowered herself atop his lap.
Her fingers journeyed towards his fly. Tugging the
zipper down quickly. He
sighed loudly against her lips as her slim fingers found their
way inside,
brushing slowly along his taut flesh. His hand shook for some
reason as he
found the spaghetti straps that still hung on her shoulders and
moved them
aside. Letting his lips replace the fabric.
It was like touching her for the first time. Like water after a long drought
"Lucky," she sighed, letting her head fall
back into his hands as he feasted
upon her neck and chest. His lips and tongue leaving a trail of
moisture in
it's wake.
His hands moved swiftly down to where her gown was now
bunched around her
waist. "Lift up sweetie," he instructed. As Elizabeth
quickly did as he bid
her. Allowing him to rid of her the final covering.
His eyes traveled ravenously over her beautiful naked
body. Seeing his wife
for the first time. "My God....you are beautiful," he
whispered. Barely able
to speak.
Elizabeth eyes clouded over with tears, as she kissed
him once again.
Smothering his breath with hers. Wanting all of him now. Her
hands floated
softly down to his waistband, pushing at his constraints. They
were gone a
moment later as he rose to help her as well.
His strong hands traveled up her thighs and to the
luscious flesh of her
bottom. Cupping her and bringing her closer. Tighter against his
constantly
growing need. He felt her moisture graze him through the fabric
of his boxers
and he pushed against her. Groaning as he pulled the fabric down
furiously.
Elizabeth moaned, kissing him with everything she had.
Her lips running
rampant against his skin. Her femininity sliding over his
masculinity in an
effort to ease the unyielding tension between them.
Her lips were no longer content to stay on his mouth.
Traveling to his
cheeks. His neck. Lower now to his chest. His skin glistening in
the dim
light. "Now Lucky," she moaned.
He heeded her command, pulling her up to him and
wrapping his arms tightly
around her midsection as he lowered them both to the soft sheets
beneath
them. His kisses trailed the entire length of her body as she
writhed and
whimpered for the loving she so desired. As he kissed the insides
of her
thighs until she cried out for him.
Elizabeth's fingertips clenched the fabric beneath her
body as his tongue
lapped at her intimacy. As his fingers touched her privately -
Secretly
bringing her to the edge. His lips pressed once again to her
navel as she
called out his name in passion.
Lucky licked his lips and savored her sweet nectar as
he moved up her body,
positioning himself between her welcoming thighs. Her name fell
slowly on a
sigh as he entered her body in one ong, lingering, smooth action.
He bit his bottom lip as her body immediately hugged
his. Her insides
mirroring the action of her arms as she clung to him.
He moved slowly within her. Wanting to take his time,
but knowing that he
couldn't. His breath was warm upon her neck as her hips rose and
fell with
his.
"I love you," he managed. Gradually
beginning to pick up the pace. They had
all night to love each other. But suddenly...Suddenly his body
could no
longer wait.
"I...." Elizabeth began. Her breath catching
in her throat as his pelvis
rocked steadily into hers. "I love...you too."
The point of ecstasy loomed just above the horizon.
The dawning of something
incredible building from every spot of her body. Promising to
overtake her
senses. Devouring her every thought. She tightened her grip on
his shoulders.
His moist flesh beautiful and warm.
But nothing would prepare her for what she was about to feel.
Lucky's thrusts began to quicken even more. Their
flesh moving against each
other at a rapid pace. Neither of them willing to wait any
longer. Both of
them panting with desire. His kisses deminished every idea in her
head and
stole her breath.
As his fingers slipped between their bodies. She came
in torrents around him.
Clenching him inside her heat and threatening to never let him
go.
Her body's silent, but urgent demand propelled him
forward and he came as
well. His seed bursting forth in powerful streams of pleasure.
His body,
continuously moving against her as he came down from the peak of
pure bliss.
There was nothing that would ever compare to this.
Elizabeth's hands traveled over the loosening muscles
of his back as his hips
slowed to a stop against hers. She sensed his instinct to roll
off of her,
but she wouldn't allow it. Pulling him to her equally moist body.
He was hers. Forever.
Her skin prickled as his erratic breaths brushed over
her. As he wrapped his
now, weak arms around her and lay his head against the pillow of
her chest.
Watching as her breasts rose and fell. Listening to her heartbeat
slow to a
normal pace.
For you are mine....
"Mrs. Spencer?" Lucky sighed. "Would
you think I was crazy if I wanted to do
that again...right now?"
Elizabeth ran her hands through his messy hair and
sighed. "I'd be deeply
outraged if you didn't...we've got a lot of lost time to make up
for Mr.
Spencer."
At last...
Lyrics by Etta James - "At Last"
