Special Edition 6 - Trick or Treat

Spoon Island
Wyndemere
The Grand Ball Room

Lucky’s eyes widened as he read the note his little sister had just handed him. He tried to stifle the grin that threatened, but looking up to catch a mischievous glance from Elizabeth across the room – all was lost.

A smile broke out across his lips, right as she turned her head and began talking to the back of some unrecognizable woman.

He shook his head ever so slightly. A mixture of unease and absolute glee, filling his body both at once. ‘Feeling adventurous tonight Spencer? Ready to shed the new ‘adult’ status and try being a kid for the evening?’

Biting down on his bottom lip he contemplated the message on the note. It could be fun…very – VERY fun.

Fun and a little dangerous – a nice combination if he did say so himself.

Removing a pen from the inner pocket of his trench-coat, Lucky quickly scribbled his answer down on the small crumpled piece of paper. Lulu’s tiny fists had made it a wrinkled mess. But that was ok, he could read Elizabeth’s handwriting anywhere. She was an artist…thus everything had to be beautiful.

Unable to believe that he was really about to go through with this, Lucky licked his lips and glanced around at his surroundings. Wyndemere was an old building – thick walls right?

But the walls had ears of course…it made him grin all the more.

They’d recently made it a habit to go at it in strange places anyway right?…Just a few months ago it had been under the boardwalk at Coney Island. A few weeks ago in her bosses’ office. Shit, that had been an adventure of a lifetime…but still – Wyndemere?

The thought both skeeved him out and exhilarated him. What in the world had possessed him to attend a Halloween Party here anyway?

‘Maybe the fact that it’s a real life, honest to God haunted house?’ He thought sarcastically. Wondering why Nikolas and Mrs. Landbury had even gone to the trouble of decorating in the first place. Certainly Stephan hadn’t approved of such ‘amusement.’

Poor Nikolas had probably wanted it to seem more ‘American,’ or something. More ‘Halloweenish.’ More festive.

Yet they could have left the place – parapet and all – in the same decorative style it always had been and it would have been just as scary as it was now. It still would have been compatible with the theme.

The theme…

Just thinking about it, suddenly reminded Lucky to tilt the brim of his hat down just a tad as he glanced down at his sister and then quickly back up to Elizabeth.

Still chattering away, he heard the very blonde Elizabeth giggle in character. Turning back towards her conversation partner after a quick moment of teasing. Even from across the room she was driving him crazy. The stolen glances when they weren’t together…that dress.

Damn, that dress. She was wearing the dress that had quite possibly given him his first hard-on as an adolescent. Well…the first one he remembered anyway.

"Thanks Princess," he whispered. His throat now dry as he tried to talk to his sister. "You mind doing me a favor and taking this back on over to Marilyn? Tell her to write back asap."

There was definitely something to be said about a messenger who couldn’t quite ‘sound-out’ all the big words yet. Even though he’d seen her peak once or twice as she skipped back and forth between them. One day soon he’d have to start being more careful around that little sister of his.

The public school system was teaching her far too quickly.

Lulu deftly nodded her head in response. She’d decided to attend the Halloween party, as HERSELF – only HERSELF - a year prior. Which meant, she couldn’t talk.

So here she was – fully capable of speech, but NOT speaking in order to play her part as five year old Lulu – perfectly. Her costume was confusing for most of the adults – because she wasn’t wearing one. But sometimes you had to bear with how slow adults were. Sometimes you had to humor their bewildered grins.

Lucky wasn’t slow though – he got it. He was the only one who ever really understood anything. Giving her a light tap on the bottom, he sent her back over to Lizbet…Correction – Marilyn.

Marilyn and…what had Lizbet called him? Bogie? Well Lu didn’t know what a Bogie was, but her brother looked pretty handsome in his costume. She could tell that all the other girls at the party thought so too. They kept looking at him when he wasn’t looking.

But he only looked at Lizbet – Marilyn.

They’d been doing some kind of weird note-passing thing all night. It was fun though. Actually having permission to run back and forth through the room. Darting through all of the tall adults and stepping on peoples fancy shoes. By the time they looked down she was already long gone. That was a hoot and a half.

"Hey squirt!" Nikolas called. Swooping down on his sister suddenly. He lifted her up into his arms as she tried to dodge past. "Where you off to?…You enjoying the party so far?"

She nodded her head vigorously. Eeek! How was she going to get out of this one? Oh well…the note would have to wait.

Hopefully Lucky and Lizbet could handle themselves until she was able to resume her duties as a mail woman.

Across The Room

"Preoccupied much?" Emily asked. Following Elizabeth’s gaze as she craned her neck all over the place. Undoubtedly looking to see where Lucky had gone to now. ‘Well,’ Emily thought. ‘That’s what happens when you never come home! People miss you and then they don’t leave you alone when you ARE here…it served them right!’

She sighed before speaking again. Knowing Elizabeth hadn’t heard her comment. "I think he went to get some punch or something…I’m sure he’ll be right back."

"What? Who?"

Emily rolled her eyes and folded her arms. Taking a puff from her unlit cigarette. "Your date of course. The guy in the beige trench coat and brimmed hat…You guys planning on flying out of Casablanca tonight or sticking around for a bit?"

Elizabeth laughed and brushed a few platinum strands behind her shoulder. "I’m sorry…Um, yeah - staying I think. No sense in driving back so late you know? We’ll probably both play hooky from work tomorrow…Make a day of it."

Her friend sighed. They were ‘making a day,’ of hanging out in Port Charles together. It was enough happiness to make you want to puke.

"Is it absolutely wonderful?"

Not following the change in conversation, Elizabeth leaned forward. Trying to act as if she WASN’T still looking for Lucky. As if she wasn’t itching for Nikolas to let go of Lulu and allow her to come over with her note!

She was eager to see what Lucky thought of her wicked little idea. It made her eyes flicker even now and she tried to bring herself back to the matter at hand. Emily was talking again…About what exactly?…

"Wh – what? Is what wonderful?"

"Living with someone," Emily asked. "Living with the love of your life, in your own cozy little love nest?"

Though she responded with a slight giggle at first, it rapidly turned into a serenely peaceful smile. "If I said I was sublimely happy and that it’s the most perfect thing EVER, would you hate me?"

"I would indeed, but I suppose you have to admit it anyway."

Elizabeth gave her a sympathetic smile and followed Emily’s eyes over to the where Nikolas played with Lu. Tweeking her nose.

Her friend’s voice was the one that seemed far away now. "He really loves her…Talks about her all the time."

"You know," Elizabeth began softly. "I predict that one day very soon, that man is gonna wake up and smell the coffee."

Emily glanced wearily at her cigarette. "Ya mean the nicotine?"

"Whatever," Elizabeth smiled. Pausing to glance back at him once again. Suddenly she felt like the luckiest woman alive – again. She had everything she’d ever wanted. A man she loved, an apartment she loved, a job that was not too shabby, and she was actually enjoying school. Life didn’t get much better than that.

And here was her friend Emily still pining away for a clueless Nikolas. Dressed as……What the Hell was his costume anyway?

"Listen," she said suddenly turning back around. "He’s gonna wake up Em. I can pretty much guarantee that…I mean he ALREADY loves you."

"Yeah, like a pet hamster!" Emily laughed awkwardly. "Forget it," she added suddenly. "I’m SO over him. I mean look at that ridiculous get up he’s wearing."

Elizabeth laughed and then bit her lip. "You know Miss Emily, I’m sure if you slinked your way over there in THAT costume of yours, his eyes wouldn’t quite no what to do with themselves. They’d probably fall RIGHT out of his head…Then maybe you could ever so discretely bend over and pick them up…they’d fall right back out of his head just from watching you do that……he’d just be a big ol’ mess."

Emily laughed and paused after a moment. Seeing the look of seriousness on Elizabeth’s. "You think so?"

"I KNOW SO – girlfriend ya look hot……Audrey Hepburn would be proud."

She glanced down at her gown. She did look pretty damn good if she did say so herself. "Ok fine…whatever. But if he starts to drool I’m gonna tell him to put his tongue back in his mouth – he SO doesn’t deserve this body."

Elizabeth guffawed as her friend sauntered her way over to a thoroughly clueless Nikolas…In…whatever the Hell he was wearing…

From Across The Room

Nikolas sighed as he hitched his sister higher up on his hip. "So you haven’t changed your mind about this costume huh?" He asked. Pulling on her suspenders. It wasn’t a costume. It was simply her favorite pair of overalls. "Who put you up to this? Your dad?"

Leave it to Luke to think that this would be amusing for everyone. Although, Nikolas supposed that the fact that he’d allowed her to attend the party in the first place was progress.

When Lulu simply shrugged in response, Nikolas sighed once more. Of course Luke would have done everything in his power to derail his suggestion of dressing Lulu up as Shirley Temple, to fit the theme.

Yeah, he could hear it now. ‘Go with a Nikolas idea……oooooooh no. Of course not.’

Lulu giggled at her brother’s confused state. It hadn’t been Daddy’s suggestion, but he’d loved the idea when she ran it past him. She found it highly creative herself. Inspired even.

Nikolas shook his head. The realization finally dawning that it didn’t HAVE to be Luke’s idea. It could have simply been some capricious Spencer whim that Lu was following on her own. She was already exhibiting signs of Spencer insanity. Oh, how it pained him to know it.

"So you’re gonna save a dance for me tonight right?" He asked. Placing her down a little more abruptly than he would have normally, as Emily came into full view.

Wow…

His sister actually spoke the word ‘yes,’ but he hadn’t heard. He was too busy staring at the vision of absolutely loveliness before him and wondering when in fact, she’d actually gotten so lovely.

Sometimes Emily had this way about her. He didn’t quite now how to explain it…but she did.

"Hey," he greeted casually. Clearing his suddenly dry throat. "Hey Em – um, nice costume."

Emily smiled and did a slow model’s turn in the slinky black dress. Was that his tongue hanging out or was it just her imagination?

‘I gotta hand it to you Elizabeth…you know how to call ‘em…He may be an idiot – but he’s still a man. Oooh…man - idiot…maybe I’m on to something.’

"Well I just went with the theme," she smiled. "When you said old Hollywood, the first thing I thought of was Audrey."

"Well," he nodded awkwardly. "You make a great Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s……very classy." He suddenly felt the need to shift his weight from one foot to the next and wondered why his palms were slightly clammy.

Looking down for his safety net, he spoke again. "Lu don’t you think that…." Nikolas voice trailed off. "Oh, she’s already gone…that little girl’s been running around all night."

"Running interference or something, I’m guessing," Emily grinned.

"What?"

"Oh nothing," she smiled. Shaking her head. Elizabeth and Lucky had something going on – God only knew what. But this…this ‘expression’ that Nikolas had on his face was very, very interesting if she did say so herself.

Her eyes suddenly roamed his costume once more. It was a lot more becoming from up close. Very…nice in fact.

"You’re costume…is…"

"Valentino," he explained quickly. "My Aunt Alexis thought this would be cute…for some…odd reason. I think I may have to send her to the royal dungeon as my brother would say…I mean who even REMEMBERS this movie? Or Valentino for that matter."

Emily laughed. "Blood and Sand, right? He played a bullfighter?…I think Grandfather has it in his collection….You look very dashing. I think your aunt made a fabulous choice."

His eyes widened and the corner of his mouth turned up. "You do? Oh, I mean…thanks – thank you. I let her know you think..……Do you – I mean do you want a drink or something?" He asked suddenly. If he didn’t get one in just a moment he would probably die of thirst.

Glancing towards the bar behind them, Emily nodded. "Sure, why not?…You buyin?"

Nikolas grinned and his eyebrows shot up. "I own the place."

A Small Corner of the Room

Lucky watched as white flowing material, slipped across beautiful calves. The calves disappearing around yet another corner. The fabric swishing, back and forth just beneath the knees.

He wasn’t sure, but stupid Jason seemed to still be droning on and on about the stupid website for the stupid new shop in that stupid monotone of his.

"So how long?"

"Huh?" Lucky asked suddenly. Jerking out of the haze that her legs had dropped him into.

Where had she gone anyway? Was it time already? Where was Lu with his friggin note?

He looked quickly down at his watch before glancing back up at Jason. This night was getting longer and longer by the second, and he was suddenly quite aggravated that she’d been able to talk him into this.

All he’d wanted was a quiet night at home, but nope…she managed to talk him into this.

‘TALK you into it?…Sure thing Spencer. You and your little pocket buddy both know how she got you here. In fact it’s never very difficult for Elizabeth to get her way these days IS IT Mr?’

Lucky shook his head and tried his best to focus on his boss. Who the heck was he supposed to be dressed up as anyway? He was wearing the same black leather jacket and black jeans that he always wore. And the ‘Fonz,’ wasn’t exactly old Hollywood.

Carly tapped him lightly on the shoulder. "Sweetheart I think Lucky’s mind is somewhere else? You mind speeding things up for him. He’s got people to see…to do."

"Huh?…No, no I’m fine," Lucky chuckled nervously. "Everything’s cool Jason. The new site should be up and running in no time, I’d say in the next coupla days…I just changed a few things really – nothing major. But if you want me to do something else – I mean you can take a look at it – let me know what you think."

"No, no," Jason cut in. "Listen Lucky whatever you wanna do is fine with me. I just felt like…I should be asking you something. I mean I guess that’s what a boss is supposed to do right? Even though I never really checked up on you when you were living above the shop."

Lucky perked right up. The bike shop…he’d been just about to bring that up.

"Yeah and I really did appreciate that trust. Just like I appreciate it now…thank you. I think we work well together man."

Jason reached out to shake Lucky’s hand as Carly grinned. She bit her lip as her cousin once again turned his head and glanced at the staircase. Damn, the guy had a major jones for that girl.

"Listen," Lucky began again. "Um, you said the place was still empty right? My old room I mean? Above the bikeshop?"

His boss nodded stoically. "Yeah, you guys thinking about moving back? I thought you were happy in Greenwhich."

Lucky almost laughed in his face. Yeah right! Life was just perfect the way it was. Back to having to deal with all these PEOPLE all the time when all he wanted to do was have sex with his girlfriend?! Yeah right! Was he kidding?

"Honey," Carly interceded. Leaning on Jason’s shoulder. "I think maybe Lucky just wants to be alone with his girl."

"What?" Lucky laughed nervously. "No, I was just curious…that’s all."

Carly grinned even wider. "Your STILL curious? Maybe you two should see a therapist."

Lucky glared at his cousin. "That’s not what I meant," he sighed. Turning back to Jason. "I meant I was curious about the room."

"No, it’s empty," Jason shrugged. "You guys need a place to crash for the night?"

"Somewhere other than Casa Spencer?" Carly put in with her huge grin. Wiggling her eyebrows around suggestively as she continued to hang all over Jason. "The keys are on the top shelf near the girlie calendar on the wall," she allowed. "You know…just in case you DON’T want them."

Lucky tried to hold back his grin. He was just sorta getting to know the girl, but she was a hoot in a half. "Ok…I gotta go find someone."

Carly sighed. "If it’s the girl who’s wearing my other dress, tell her I want it back."

The long pink dress that she wore now swished around loudly as she turned in a circle. The diamonds around her neck glinted under the lights. Lucky rose one eyebrow. "I guess you never know do you?………I’ll see you guys later…Happy Halloween," he finished. Placing his cigar in his mouth.

Jason and Carly exchanged knowing glances. "Happy Halloween."

Biting her bottom lip, Carly held in her comment until Lucky got a few feet away. "Go get her Bogie."

At The Bar

"Where’s Lu?!" Lucky panted. Finally catching up with Nikolas. He pulled him away from the conversation he was having with Alexis. Who was currently doing her very best Mae West impression as she slogged back some Vodka from her crystal glass.

And to think his dad had decided to pass this party up! He would have killed to see the counselor prancing around with a feather boa.

Nikolas shook his head. "Mrs. Landsbury put her down for a nap."

Lucky rolled his eyes. "Where?"

"In the royal NAP room, Lucky," Nikolas snapped sarcastically. "Man oh man – would you relax and leave her alone – she’s sleeping. It’s not like – thanks to you and the weird bunch - she was TALKING much anyhow!"

"Huh?" Lucky commented. Scratching the back of his head. What the Hell was Dumbass rambling about now? "Listen, I need to know where she is…she’s got something of mine."

"Well she’s napping, you’ll have to get it later."

Lucky nearly growled. "You think maybe it’s You that needs to go down for a nap? What the Hell’s gotten into you? And what the Hell are you wearing?" He asked suddenly, glancing down at his brother’s glittery gear.

Alexis slurred around Nikolas’ shoulder from behind and each of the men had to hold their breath. "Valentino…he’s wearing Valentino."

"I’m not WEARING Valentino – I AM Valentino," Nikolas corrected in frustration.

Lucky had to almost shove his fist in his mouth to keep from guffawing. "Sure your are…Well Val, do you know where our sister is or not?"

When Alexis giggled behind him, Nikolas glared.

"You make a very handsome Humphrey Bogart, Lucky," she commented. Swishing her drink around in the crystal glass.

"Thanks Alexis…you wouldn’t happen to know where my sister is would you?" He asked. Speaking slowly for her. "Nikolas is pissed about his wittle costume and won’t tell me."

He wasn’t pissed about his stupid costume! He was pissed because he’d been so friggin NERVOUS around Emily tonight! What had THAT been about?!

"The Study," she answered. Mumbling to herself. "She’s probably there."

Lucky removed the boa she’d looped around his neck at some point and smiled back at her. "Ok…thanks."

3rd Floor Lounge

Elizabeth sighed and glanced up at the clock. Wondering if maybe they should have just met in the courtyard instead. Her foot shifted back and forth in midair as one leg lay draped across the other.

‘Shit,’ she thought. ‘Maybe in his message back to me he suggested THAT! Or he suggested some other room, but Lu forgot to find me!’

She stood up from the couch. Beginning to pace around the carpet. Rubbing her hands together in anticipation.

It was a room designed for entertaining guests she supposed, but for much smaller affairs than the one going on in the ballroom tonight. It was a room perfect for some…lovin, she thought lustfully.

Dark carpet, a few sofas, a table set up for a continental style breakfast, and a bar, all lit by a roaring fire in a brick fireplace. Someday she and Lucky would have something like this of their own. But for now she’d just settle with having him in her arms…

Where the Heck was he?

Study

Lucky moved quietly into the study. Immediately spotting his sister curled up and asleep on a huge coach. A down quilt thrown over her for warmth.

Damn…he hated to wake her – but if the note was in her pocket or her hand or something…

‘You are seriously losing your mind,’ his inner voice chastised. ‘You aren’t REALLY about to wake up your sister just so you can find out what she did with some note are you? Just so you can find out what room you’re supposed to have SEX in!? You ARE NOT…You….Shit, you are…you’re fucking shamless.’

He tried to be quiet a he nudged the blanket aside and took one of her fists in his hand. Prying it open one sweaty finger at a time. No note there…

‘Ok, checking the other hand – trying to be quiet, trying not to wake her………Shit! Where the Hell is the note?’

Lulu stirred in her sleep, and Lucky felt instantly ashamed. ‘You big loser. Waking up your little sister because you can’t wait to have sex with your girlfriend! You outta be ashamed. Like you don’t get enough at HOME!? You have to resort to having sex in other people’s HOMES!?’

"Hey Lu…Lu! Wake up!"

His sister grumbled in her sleep and turned over. "Lu, where’s the note?"

"What note?" She mumbled.

Lucky rolled his eyes. "The note that me and Elizabeth were passing back and forth…remember Honey?"

"Oh, I dropped it," she answered matter of factly, before closing her eyes once again.

Lucky’s eyes nearly bugged out of his head. "You DROPPED IT?" He asked. Trying to keep his teeth from clenching. "Sweetheart WHERE did you drop it?"

"I dunno. I don’t remember dropping it anywhere…but I don’t have it, so I must’ve."

A long-suffering sigh escaped Lucky’s lungs and he shook his head as his sister started to fall back to sleep. "Wait, Lu…Lu…ok, wait. What room was it? Do you know what room it said on there? What room did Lizbet write down on her note?"

"Huh? Room? You told me not to read it."

"Oh come on. You’re a Spencer – I know you took a peak. Don’t even try it."

Lulu groaned and sat up slightly. She wasn’t going to get another wink if she didn’t tell him SOMETHING – ANYTHING. "Ok, I think I saw a word on there but it wasn’t a room. None of the rooms have numbers, they have all these words on them…like this study place, you know?"

Nodding, Lucky urged her on. "Ok…ok, what was it? Was it the map room or the –

"What are you guys doing in there anyway?" She whined. Lying back down.

"I gotta help her find her contact – it fell out. Now tell me what room it is."

Lizbet didn’t wear no contacts! Lulu sighed like her brother had a moment ago and shook her head. "Ok, it had an ‘l’ and a ….a ‘o,’…and then it had a ‘u’…There was a ‘g’ in it too but it was close to the end."

Lucky wracked his brain. "A lounge?! Was it a lounge?" He asked suddenly. His voice shooting upwards.

Lulu shrugged and turned over. "I don’t know. I guess so Lucky. I’m sleepy…why don’t you just retrace your steps from where she lost the contact."

RETRACE HIS STEPS?! RETRACE HIS STEPS?! If he retraced his friggin steps he’d trace them all the way back to his apartment and be screwing his girlfriend RIGHT NOW instead of traipsing all over a friggin MANSION THAT HE HATED!

"Ok…ok," he said breathlessly. Trying to catch his breath when he hadn’t even had that outburst out loud. "That’s fine…thank you Lu – you were a big help."

He quickly rose and then bent at the waist to kiss her cheek. "Night Sweetheart."

She grumbled into the couch cushions and then grinned…He was fun to mess with too sometimes.

Playing tricks was a lot more fun that getting treats! "Night."

~~~~~~~
The Garden Patio
Elizabeth turned around in a circle. Well, if they couldn’t find each other INSIDE the house, they’d find each other OUTSIDE, right?
She was sure of that. There was no way he wouldn’t think to look outside. In the garden – their garden. The first place they’d ever danced together.
The memory brought a smile to her face. How nervous she’d been. How absolutely terrified and excited she’d been all at once. To have his arms around her. To have his breath so close.
And in the end it had been everything she’d always imagined dancing with Lucky Spencer would be. Beautiful, and romantic...and safe.
How they’d moved from side to side…and then side to side again. Moving her feet even now as she closed her eyes and remembered that starlit evening. Although it had been summer, the sky looked very much like it did on this fall night.
Not a cloud in the sky. Only the crispness of near midnight and the promise of dancing – among other things – in the arms of her lover.
A rustling behind her, had her turning around and meeting his starlit eyes. She grinned as he pushed a few leaves out of the way and made his way towards her.
"Out of all the gardens in all the world…HE had to walk into mine."
Lucky smiled as he neared her. "That’s my line."
He ran a finger through her hair. Amazed that his appearance from out of the bushes hadn’t even ruffled a feather. She was fine…she was gorgeous…and fine.
Letting his eyes travel slowly down her body he took a deep breath through his nose. "You know, where’s the street grating when you need it?"
Elizabeth looked down and grinned suggestively. Knowing that he was referring to the white dress that she had donned for her stint as Marilyn Monroe. "Oh, as if you’d need a reason to look under my skirt, Mr. Bogart."
His eyebrows rose. "So is it true what they say?" He asked. Taking her into his arms as they started to dance. Completely inappropriate music coming from inside the house. Some haunted sounding piano concerto. But they could barely hear it anyway. "Are you having more fun as a blonde?"
"Not until now I wasn’t," she sighed. Her head falling against his shoulder. "But I haveto ask…How exactly did you talk me into this party?"
"Excuse you!" Lucky gasped, pulling back slightly. "It was YOU who talked ME into coming here tonight, remember? I suggested that we stay home."
"And answer the door all night? Having to give out candy instead of doing anything remotely...FUN," she sighed seductively.
"We could have turned the lights out and pretended we weren’t home," Lucky stated.
Elizabeth nodded. "But where’s the Halloween spirit in that?"
"Where’s the Halloween spirit in chasing your skirt all night long?"
She grinned and pulled him more tightly against her as they continued to dance. Biting her bottom lip. "So…I guess it’s my turn to ask you – is it true what they say? Do gentlemen really prefer blondes?"
Lucky shook his head. "Not this one. Although you do look pretty damn hot in this getup of yours," he sighed. Sliding his fingers along the low cut bodice. She was a walking, talking fantasy. "Very, very…hot."
"Ooooh, Bogie are you coming on to me?"
"Nope – I’m coming on to Marilyn Monroe."
Elizabeth socked him in the shoulder. Lowering the quality of her voice suddenly and doing her best Marilyn giggle. She thought of all the times she’d seen the infamous JFK birthday special. "Well Mr. Bogart does Miss Bacall know you’re cheating on her?"
"Not unless DiMaggio or Miller or…who the heck else - knows you’re cheating on them."
She giggled again. "Oooh, you play dirty."
When she grabbed his butt beneath the coat that he wore, Lucky instantly answered her in Bogart speak. Tilting his head to the side. "Hey kid, keep ya hands off the merchandise – it’s not time to play dirty yet."
"Oooh, I don’t believe I actually touched the DICE, but what are we waiting for Mister…I was pining away for your note all night and it never came."
"The kid got the jig all mixed up," Lucky continued. Holding his cigar at the corner of his mouth as he talked. "But it’s time for you and me to blow this joint tutz."
"Ooooh, Mister Bogart I like the way you say…’blow.’"
"You do huh?" Lucky asked. Tipping his hat. "Well why don’t we go upstairs and you can show me how you say it."
Elizabeth smiled wide at the suggestion and clasped his hand in hers. Jumping when he pinched her on the butt.
The Grand Ballroom
Carly grinned to herself and tucked the small note inside her cleavage. Wrapping her arms around Jason’s thick waist from behind. Who ever would have thought he would have left a note like that for her!? Just sitting out by the drinks at the bar no less!
"Jase…why didn’t you tell me you were thinking such lurid thoughts about me? We coulda ditched this place HOURS ago."
Jason’s brow knit together. "What?"
"Oh don’t play coy, Jase…I know what’s going on in that head of yours…Come on," she instructed. Pulling him by his forearm. "Let’s go. We can probably catch the ferry back to Port Charles in the next 5 minutes or so…unless you wanna find somewhere here and just go at it," she added. Glancing around at the crowd. "There’s gotta be a room around here somewhere that we can –
"Carly what are you talking about?"
She rolled her eyes and sighed loudly. Yanking the note from inside her dress. She quickly pressed it into Jason’s palm. "I’m talking about THIS."
He quietly read the words on the page aloud. "Name the time and place…I’ve always wanted to know if Marilyn was a true blonde - Here’s lookin’ at you kid."
And to think part of it was missing! It drove Carly crazy thinking about what else he’d written on there! She folded her arms across her chest and groaned at Jason’s blank expression.
"What? Oh come on…I suppose you’re gonna tell me you didn’t write that?"
Jason shook his head. "I didn’t."
"Jason come on. If you didn’t write it then who the Hell…….." Realization dawned and Carly covered her mouth so she wouldn’t laugh as loud as she wanted to. "Ooooh My Gooood. Damn…My cousin is a little stud ain’t he?"
"Huh?"
"Jason! Don’t you get it? Here’s looking at you……KID," she emphasized. Pretending she had a cigar in her mouth. "It’s Lucky, Jase!…You know, the whole Bogart thing?!"
Confusion still shown dully on his face.
"Forget it," Carly continued. "We’ll have to rent Casablanca one day….but until then…whatdya say we take a tour around this mansion. Find where all the action is!" She suggested. A mischievous glint in her eye.
Jason shook his head. "Carly…NO."
"Oh come on! PLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAASE! It’ll be so fun just to see their faces when they realize they’ve been caught in the act!"
"Yeah well, I don’t wanna see anything other than their faces – so NO."
"Aaah, you’re no fun," Carly whined. Pretending to pout.
"You wanna see fun?" Jason asked. Taking her by the arm. "I’ll show ya fun...Let’s get out of here."
Carly clapped quietly as she followed him.
~~~~~~~
3rd Floor Lounge

"Are you having fun now?" Elizabeth giggled as Lucky hoisted her up on the table in front of the roaring fire.

"I’m about to," he growled. His voice dropping yet another octave as he slid his wandering hands up her thighs. Wondering if Marilyn wore pan…

"Oh my!" Lucky exclaimed. Finding her naked beneath the flowing white dress.

Elizabeth leaned back on the table and smiled as she spread her thighs for him. "You know, in the essence of saving time and all…"

"Oh yeah, it’s all about convenience…I understand," Lucky nodded.

She bit her lip and dragged him closer. Sitting up to tug at the buttons that closed his trench coat. "And what DO you have on under here?…You know this coat has been turning me on all night…and this hat," she muttered. Kissing him hard on the mouth. "You can leave your hat on by the way…I like that."

Lucky chuckled and helped her fingers with his coat. Shedding it quickly. She lay back on the table once more as he unzipped his pants. Working his hands up towards her hips again when he’d finished.

Her smooth skin tingled beneath his touch. And Elizabeth wondered briefly if the sensation of absolute ecstasy would ever dissipate. If one day it wouldn’t feel so insanely spectacular. But she knew the instant he bent over her and removed one long band of white that covered her breast – taking one anxious bud into his mouth – that it wouldn’t.

That THIS would never change.

Elizabeth moaned and her head dropped rolled to the side. Her body sprawled beneath him as his mouth worked her like a delicious scoop mound of ice cream. He moved slowly over to the other side. Removing another piece of white fabric and sucking on her gently at first. Becoming more fervent as she wiggled and sighed beneath him.

Lucky groaned against her sweet skin. Licking and suckling as her movements against the table drove his body towards the breaking point. All his fantasies coming to life and reaching inside his pants to make him as stiff as a steel rod. He drew himself out of his boxerbriefs and tugged her hips towards the edge of the table to meet him.

Her legs embraced him as soon as he entered her body. One long, drawn out stroke, motivating sounds neither one of them knew how she made, to come out of her body.

He sighed and took her breast in his mouth once more. Reveling in her wicked heat as he moved within her. The way she closed around him like a vice. Her cool pumps pressing lightly on the small of his back as he worked his body in and out of hers. Playing her like a violin as the sounds continued to come from somewhere deep down in her body.

Contented, purring sounds.

Elizabeth could only see his hat moving up and down as he continued to administer to her chest. His hands roaming up the sides of her body as he moved so purposely against her. Slow, deep thrusts as the fire raged to the side of them and inside of them as well.

His breath started to come in shallow pants, and she wanted to see his face. Wanted to see how sweaty his hair was getting beneath the hat. He was fully clothed everywhere else. And the thought of him inside her like that made her even hotter. She felt herself moisten even further.

When she yanked off his hat and threw it to the floor he gazed up at her like a wild animal. Riding her in earnest as she drove her fingers through the front of his hair. It was damp like she’d imagined. Just like she’d wanted it to be. And when she looked down, his shirt was sticking to his chest.

Her eyes focused on the way it moved beneath the light, white cotton straining against muscle as he braced himself against the table. Suddenly lowering him self. His arms bent at each side of her head, his body moving deeper within hers as he hitched one of her legs a bit farther up above his hip.

They both hissed through their teeth when her heels grazed him through the shirt. He growled into her neck as he pumped eagerly now into her sweltering depths.

Up till now she’d managed to be relatively quiet. No shouting or loud cries of ecstasy, but he knew it was coming. Knew that as sure as his name was Lucky Spencer, right about now, she’d be –

"Aaah! GOD!" She cried. Digging her nails into his covered shoulders as he pressed himself against her. Feeling her breasts flatten against his chest.

She fought to gain enough control throughout the sensation to unbutton his shirt. Wanting now to feel that sweaty mingling of bodies. Feel his flesh sliding against her own. See him naked and vulnerable.

The door wasn’t locked. The adventurous – could easily stumble upstairs – stumble upon two lovers having unbridled sex in the deserted lounge.

She cried out again when he mouthed something dirty and wicked into her ear. His bare chest gliding against hers now and she bit her lip. Moist flesh moving back and forth against moist excited nipples.

Elizabeth attacked his mouth as he moved with fury against her. Nipping at his bottom lip right before he pulled away each time. Catching it between her teeth again when he moved forward.

Suddenly his firm hands slid beneath her bottom. Holding her even more tightly against him as he filled her walls with his lengthy fire. No room to do anything but grind as she writhed with him. Her hips revolving against his as he held her in his hands.

Lucky panted breathlessly and clung to the edge of his own eruption. Thinking once more of how precarious their situation was. There he was inside her – there she was sprawled out on a table in a house that wasn’t their own. In a mansion he’d grown up hating for God’s sake.

Elizabeth smiled wide when he laughed deeply and gruffly in her ear.

"What?" She panted hoarsely. Wondering what could have been funny at that point. Barely able to form words let alone laugh at something.

"We’re….we’re…we’re in…

"You’re in alright," she sighed breathlessly. Hanging on tight as her end sped towards her at lightening pace. It started to ripple through her body inch by inch. Tightening every muscle as it went.

"We’re fucking…in Wyndemere."

She exploded right then and there. Bursting into a million little pieces right after she squeezed the life out of his throbbing member. She used the same swear word as she came a split-second later.

He grunted half in laughter and half in sheer satisfaction as he emptied a liquid inferno into her still writhing body. Her whimpering pushing him on as she continued to writhe. Sighing as her muscles slowly began to turn to jelly after the extreme tautness.

"You’ve never…you’ve never…used…th – that word…bf – before," she panted. Letting her head fall against the hard wood of the table.

Lucky licked his dry lips and looked up at her. Still bending over her. His length still tucked inside her warmth. "I haven’t?…Did it…I mean did it bother you? I’m sor - sorry –

"Oh yeah," she smiled wearily. "It bothered the shit out of me – in a good way…Got me ALL hot and bothered."

He moved closer to kiss her slowly and deeply. Sliding his tongue inside her mouth between nibbles. "So um…did we manage to scratch that whole seven year…itch thing…"

Elizabeth sighed and stretched out languidly against the table. "And then some."

Lucky pulled back and extended his hand to her after a moment. Helping her to a sitting position as she re-arranged her dress. He grinned at the way her hair seemed permanently fixed in the formation in which the table had left it.

He’d now how it got that way…all night. He smiled to himself as he reached out to touch it.

"I don’t know Spencer…for someone who says he prefers brunettes you seem to have a certain liking for this new color."

"It’s nice," he shrugged. "For like a day or so…It does wash out right?"

Elizabeth shrugged nonchalantly. Wanting to see his reaction. "Where’s the fun in that?"

When she hopped off of the table, he swung his head around and followed her with his eyes. Watching as she rearranged that skirt over that pretty little ass of hers. "You’re kidding me right?"

"It’s dye Lucky…which means I can DYE it back," she grinned. "I just wanted to see – you know…what it’s like."

Lucky sighed. Knowing that part of this wasn’t about a costume, but about the whole blonde issue. "And what was it like?"

"The same," she grinned almost innocently. Sauntering slowly back towards him. She stood to her tiptoes and kissed him tenderly. "It’s just as hot at home. When I’m brunette and just plain old Elizabeth……Marilyn’s fun, but she never had what I have. She was never as Lucky as I am," she finished. Kissing him once more as she held his face.

He reached for her as well. Cupping her cheeks as she pulled away from his mouth. "You will NEVER be PLAIN old anything to anybody. You coulda walked in here tonight wearing a paper bag and I still woulda been looking for some secret little room somewhere."

Elizabeth grinned sideways and blushed a little. It amazed him how she could blush after everything they’d done together. Speaking of which…there was one thing, they still hadn’t done.

"Oh guess what," he said suddenly. Grinning.

She wove her fingers through his and swung his hands back and forth. "What?"

"My place…well, my OLD place," he corrected. "Just like I thought – still free. Whatdya say we sleep there tonight instead of my parents? We could make up some excuse like forgetting my key and not wanting to wake them up so late."

Elizabeth grinned and nodded. "They’ll say we should have climbed up the tree and into your room though."

"I’ll say I was afraid of Dad’s shotgun."

"Oh, good call."

"I know – I’m good," Lucky grinned. He bit his lip, wanting to kiss her again.

Elizabeth wrapped her arms around his neck and went for that exposed collarbone. Nibbling on it. "You certainly taste better than any piece of candy I could have gotten this year."

Lucky clasped her hand tightly in his own. "Ok…come on – Let’s go."

"Ooh Goody…Do I get another treat later?"

"Hmm…there’s a trick ya gotta do first."

Giggling loudly, she scampered after him as he buttoned his shirt. Hurrying towards the door. She wrapped her arms around his waist from behind and followed.

"Happy Halloween to ME!"
